I'm sorry you're in pain too Zoe. You should take it completely easy until it passes, perhaps. Just watch shows and hang out on line.

Today we did a dummy run and although I made it ok, hubby's input from the passenger seat wasn't pleasant lol.
LOL... well, that is kind of a given isn't it? From any husband regarding his wife's driving? I mean... its a given in my house at least ; ) Even though I'm the one who just doesn't look anymore when he's driving, else my foot is constantly on the imaginary brake and my hand is fisted on the door, lol.
So the drive is an hour to an hour and a half each way? Some teachers in this country end up taking that kind of commute, because of the shortage of positions too. I live in a big city, and a lot of people have anywhere between half an hour to an hour commute, just in the city. BUT it does add quite a bit to your day.
Now, if it was an hour commute each way, I might be tempted. Oddly enough, adding that extra half an hour each way seems to make a big difference, in my mind at least.
How is winter driving there?
In the end though, it depends on you. How long are your work day hours? How much time you want to have each day; etc, etc. Can it be temporary and can you transfer if a job closer to you comes up? Questions like that, you have to weigh.
You'll probably get used to the drive. I hated the idea of driving on the whitemud here (major route through Edmonton, but lots of accidents too), but I've gotten very used to it and enjoy the drive now. (however, it is not winter yet, lol... and I still half expect that I will take a transfer to the store closest to me because of the drive in the winter to the store I am at)
Peace,
tammy
