LOLOL!!!!

I hear ya outlaw but JW see it more than most but refuse to use it. ( most only say God as a name instead of as a title)

Right under their noses is Psalms 68:4 " His true name being JAH!"

Psalms 147-150 JAH being mentioned constantly.

They sing HalleluJAH meaning praise JAH, but then say Praise Jehovah.

So JAHveh is there. With JAHeshua being the son and chosen one of JAH. But either one is foreign and forbidden and yet their NWT shows it where most Bibles don't.

Peace and Love to ya, Kim

I am glad to hear that the time went okay for you both, Justmom and FinalCall, and I am sorry for your dad's passing.

Love and peace to you both, and your loved ones, as Christ gives these things,

Good morning/Afternoon everyone...

Hope everyone survived Christmas.

Wishing everyone a very blessed 2015.

We had a wonderful time with our three sons all together this season with their loved ones.
Also had a wonderful visit meeting Shelbys biological brother and sister in law. They are very sweet and Shelby and her brother are a lot a like.

We are having what is called our cold spell this week here in the Bay Area. It feels cold and I'm glad it's not any colder than it is. Supposed to get down to 30 degrees here. That seems unusual for here but it's all I can handle these days LOL.

Hope you have a great week and a very safe New Years. Love you all, all over the world....
Your sister and fellow slave of our Lord Jaheshua MischaJah, Kim

All I can say to THAT is... WHEWWWWW!... dear 'Mom (peace, luv!)... 'cause ah iz TIIIIIRRRREDDDD! I was literally falling asleep on my FEET yesterday! Dear Hubby had to hold me up at one point. From covering for half my staff at work ('cause most took vacation starting the weekend BEFORE Xmas... and so I was doing my work AND their work the past 1.5 weeks!!)... to grocery shopping... to cooking breakfast, lunch, AND dinner most days over the past week, running folks around to "see San Francisco" (which also included the flippin' NORTH Bay!)... to playing a gazilliion board games with the (adult) kids (which was fun, BUT...)...

I almost fell asleep during "Into the Woods" (saw it with dear hubby... and... meh - it was one of those movies that started out REALLY good... and then you could tell they couldn't tell how to end it and so just threw a whole bunch of gobbledy-goop-ness that made absolutely NO sense together)...

Then I had a weeks' worth of bed/bath laundry to do last night before bed...

Lordy, don't let HIM hear you say that!! But, yeah, I guess we would have some traits in common - we were really close as kids. And then... life happened... for us both (mine in the form of the WTBTS, his in the form of the streets)...

Oh, it's gotten colder, alright: BUTT freezing cold now (well, California butts. Prolly nuthin' but some cool air for BC, Edmonton, Alberta, New York, and Britain butts...). Almost making the hot flashes a memory. Almost.

And isn't that something to be joyful about? We're not JWs, and yet, we STILL (can) have a "worldwide" brotherhood!! (Nyah, nyah, nyah!! LOLOL!) I hope everyone's doing as best they can be, under their particular circumstances. And I hope... and pray... that 2015 is as least as good for everyone as 2014 may have been, if not better. But certainly not worse.

As always, take courage, dear, dear ones... and the peace of Christ to you ALL... wherever you are on this tiny, tiny planet.

A slave of Christ,

Shellamar

Good Morning everyone and Happy New Year. It sounds like everyone has been busy doing fun things and lots of family get togethers.

I too am exhausted but happy exhausted for the most part. I had family visits yesterday and Saturday with big meals cooked and cleaning before and after the visits. Yesterday I had my son Scott, his wife Lisa and my 3 grandsons visit. We had a wonderful time and lots of good food. My son and his wife cooked for us served the food and washed the dishes afterward. It was a huge treat for us. The boys are so helpful now, they set the table and cleared it.

I got spoiled with lots of nice gifts this year and I am all ready to start the new year hoping to get healthier so I can enjoy life more.

Hugs from Zoe

Based on what you posted, sounds like, dear Zoe (peace... and HAPPY New Year!... to you!). Isn't that "happy" kind of exhaustion wonderful? Dear Hubby kept saying, "You've GOT to be tired!" and he was right, but as I often share with him, there is good tired... and not-so-good/bad tired. I don't get much of the bad kind anymore. Unfortunately, though, that sometimes means changing your [choices in] career/work, activities, environment, and company. I mean, shoot, just getting older is exhausting all by itself - add a bunch of other stuff and HOOO-WHEEE! A girl could drop dead, let alone asleep, on her feet - LOLOL!

Your time with your family sounds wonderful, though... especially the part where they cooked for you AND cleaned up afterward! WHOO-HOO for you! My daughter made a fabulous gumbo, which we enjoyed for a couple/few days (meals like that tend to taste even better the next day and after).

Anyway, glad to hear you had a lovely time!

Peace to you!

Shellamar, on her own...

Good morning, Happy New Years to you Zoe ( still eve here) and so glad your family was together and it was fun and you were pampered by your babies.

May Jah and His son Jaheshua bless you with peace, comfort and endurance in this coming year. And may you continue in your seeking, knocking and asking for Truth from them as the source.
And to be granted ears and eyes to see and hear the spirit which is our Lord and His bride say, " Come, take lifeswater which is Holy Spirit for FREE."

Love and Peace to you, your sister and fellow slave of Christ, Kim

P.s. And I had some leftover Gumbo from Shelbys daughter and it was pretty yummy. So nice when your not the one to have to cook it LOL!!!!!!

Hugs to you special sisters!!

The supper I had last night was special though I didn't really care for the main dish but everyone else were very excited about the Moose Meatballs my son made for John and I. He shot the Moose way up north in September and they are making all kinds of dishes out of the meat. I am not really crazy about eating stuff that I saw its face but they were delicious but I had trouble eating them because I kept seeing that poor moose. I am weird. Lisa baked a whole ham just for me in case I didn't like the moose meat. What a sweetie she is but I felt bad as I ate little of the ham either.
I made a huge Italian salad with grated parmesan cheese, lettuce, pickled hot peppers and red onions. The boys love hot peppers lol. We had hot rolls and baby potatoes. Then ice-cream for dessert. Everyone packed the food away except John and I, we are so stuffed from all the food all week.

My son gave John a big Moose roast as a gift. That moose was huge but he will run out eventually so that was generous. But the problem is I have no idea how to cook moose. I guess I will cut it up in chunks and make a stew since I got a really nice crockpot for Christmas.

I am going on a diet next week and going to eat healthy and clean food plus No wine for a few months.

Love you all
Zoe

Good to see so many have been enjoying lovely family times! We spent our Xmas with hubby's family, my daughter & son in law visited us just after which was a lovely treat, and we're just home from staying with friends over new year. And yes I too am sooo exhausted! I actually fell asleep at the party last night lol.

It's a bitter windy rainy night here and the pj's are on as we snuggle down on the sofa with the tv. Definitely ready for some serious chillin!

Wishing everyone the best for the coming year, especially rich blessings from Jah & Christ to be upon you all.

Loz x

Glad to hear that everyone is having a great holiday and New year. We're getting a big snowstorm over the next couple of days, so that will at least be pretty. And I don't have to work : ) Also, like you are doing, Loz, I love to snuggle all warm inside when its miserable outside.

I love 'happy exhausted' too. You're so tired, but you feel so good, so rested inside, so accomplished, etc, whatever it is you are happy exhausted about, lol.

Zoe, you can cook moose roasts just as they are, just like a roast, and then have hot moose sandwiches the next day (and the next and the next, lol). Or you could cut it in half if it is really big, and make your stew with one half, and freeze the other half for later. Here is a slow cooker recipe, and there are a bunch more at the bottom of the page:

http://allrecipes.com/recipe/slow-cooker-moose-roast/

I personally like adding montreal steak spice to venison or moose roasts, but it will make it a bit spicier (from the pepper I think). Rob hunts, so usually we have a deer or two to get us through the winter. This year, he hasn't done much hunting yet.

love and peace to you all,
your sister and servant, and a slave of Christ,
tammy

Edmonton weather update, brought to you by tec (compliments of the weather network):

We are currently -24, feeling like -33 C with the wind. Overnight and tomorrow morning we will be -30, feeling like -41 with the wind, and warming up to a grand -22, feeling like - 32 with the wind.

My van has successfully started, so that is good (depending on your pov; it does mean I have to actually go to work tonight). But thankfully I do NOT have to go to work tomorrow, in the -40s!

Hopefully the weather stays on track so that the -40's is not pushed off to Monday, when the kids go back to school. (again depending upon your pov; I am sure they would not mind an excuse to extend their holiday by another day or two, lol)

Of course, I believe this is just par for the course up where my husband is working, so I can't make these outrageous weather reports to him and expect to get anything more than a "big deal" ; )

Just felt like sharing some of the warmth, er... well, you know ; )

Peace and love to all of you!

Take care lovely lady,

Can't even relate, dear tec ( peace to you, luv! ). I thought my fingers and toes were gonna freeze off while waiting on the platform for BART yesterday morning. It was 38 degrees. Notice, no minus.

Peace... and I would say "stay warm" but what's the point? LOLOLOL

Shellamar, whose body start going into hypothermia at 65 degrees, on her own...

Lol, Loz and Shelby... I'm sure its the same, relatively speaking. The body adjusts (for the most part) to the environment it is in. And you guys have heard me whining in the summer about how hot it is ; )

(I confess that I have a little fun teasing you all with the cold updates)

Peace again and you ladies stay warm in your parts of the world too! And don't worry about me at all. I like the winter (especially since I no longer have to shovel)
