May you all have peace!

You may have already seen (perhaps even posted) this, but if not, while searching for something else WTBTS related, I inadvertently came across the following:

http://i885.photobucket.com/albums/ac60 ... f07157.jpg

Not sure about you dear folks, but sounds to ME a LOT like some "Look, NONE of YOU need to say ANYTHING to explain it ('cause YOU might muck up our 'new light', here!) so, just keep YER mouths SHUT and let US do the talking!" kind of melarkey.

Any thoughts?

Peace to you, all!

A slave of Christ,

Shellamar

YUP!!!!!!

You nailed it Sis!!!!

So that they will all be in unity with this explanation as "current understanding."

It's all BS!

Thanks for sharing,
Love your sister and fellow slave of CHRIST, Kim

LOL, oh yeah, as JM said... you nailed it.

Sounds like damage control also that they would have to have this meeting... and make it uniform across the board. On a side note, I found it interesting to note that in the article, the elders, etc, are supposed to invite the audience to comment on why the demonstration was effective. Not IF. Not open comments. Not 'what do you think'. WHY it WAS effective. And again, invite comments on how their KNOWING about 1914 motivates them to preach the good news with urgency.

That is not open discussion. Not that anyone here would 'accuse' the wts of inviting or encouraging open discussion, or criticism, or even questions (certainly not questions that show wts teachings/doctrines to be false). Maybe some people will do that instead... ask the questions on things that bother them, that do not make sense, about this doctrine of 1914. Maybe help to wake some people up.

Peace to you,
your sister and servant, and fellow slave of Christ,
tammy

Your right about that Shelby!..
They don`t want JWs mucking up New Light..
It`s hard enough to defend as it is..

It also brings up another WBT$ requirement for a Kingdom Hall..
WBT$/JW Kingdom Halls are going to need Big Screen TVs now..
Who pays for that?!!..

The WBT$ has already cleaned out All Kingdom Hall bank accounts..
JWs can only keep 3 months worth of Kingdom Hall bill money..
JW congregations have already sent the WBT$ the money, that would have bought that Big Screen TV..
JWs have to come up with more money now..

JEHOVAH NEEDS A BIG SCREEN TV..

I THINK IT WANTS TO EAT ME!..

Yes it makes sense, can't have the rank and file looking like they are bewildered when explaining the new light. Just make a video and they can play that to whoever asks. Straight from the Puppet masters mouths.

My daughter asked about that earlier this year when the JW's were studying with her and she said they hurridly explained it but it was clear that they didn't know how to explain it because she told them she didn't understand it. They changed the subject.

This was pinned on Pinterest by a JW. Very Ironic isn't it in light of all the hidden lies the Governing body tell them.

I was going to say it is ALL ironic with them, Zoe, when I saw your first post about the wolf in sheep's clothing. But I see that you've got another one up there that kind of proves that point.

If Christ is the light (and He is), and you are not looking at Him... then you are walking around in the darkness, blind, with no light to guide you through that darkness. JW's are looking at the wts, and jw.org now also. Catholics are looking at the RCC (built, they say, upon Peter). Lutherans are looking at Luther (and whatever his 'church' has become). Mormons are looking at Joseph Smith (and whatever his 'church' has become). Etc, etc.

Yet, they all think that they are looking at God or Christ. Unfortunately, they only look at God through the lens that their religious group give them. Anything in conflict with their religion/denomination... is deemed untrue, misunderstood, etc. Anything their religion/denomination teaches that is in conflict with Christ and HIS teachings/deeds... well, that is explained away, or they just can't comprehend the REAL meaning, and need the religious leaders to explain it to them. Which is what such religious leaders teach... that you are not smart enough, good enough, wise enough, important enough, educated enough, etc,... to know or understand God on your own (which is true... one must know CHRIST to know God), or to know and understand Christ without these men as mediators.

Listen to Christ. Obey Christ. Follow Christ.

Peace again to you!
