Yeah, I'm thinkin' that old logo, with the WT "parapet"... is SO sullied... they need to move as far away from that as they possibly can, dear Sher'f (peace to you, luv!). Like William Shatner trying to break free of his "Captain Kirk" persona. He repeated his new character's name ("Denny Crane") on... oh, what was that show... "Boston Legal"... SO much that folks really started to forget "Captain James T. Kirk" ever existed! Well, some folks. Not me. I liked "Denny Crane," but I'll NEVER forget Cap'n Kirk.

Although, now, he's really pushing his "Priceline.com" persona. What is it? The "Priceline Negotiator"? Even his daughter's in on the commercials (and she's pretty funny, actually!). I digress.

Yes, they are re-branding. Absolutely understandable... from a business perspective. And they are, after all, a business, so...

The Watchtower reputation is so tarnished and beat up,they need something new..
Along with the rebranding is an incredible dumbing down..
The new WBT$ literature is a joke..It`s all very childish..

We LOVE that show (and I really like her), dear Sher'f (peace!). Although, Sheldon sometimes makes me wince. Not because of what he says, per se... but because of how much he sometimes reminds me... of me... in saying it! LOLOL! Not in the smarts department parts (surely not!), but in the pendancy/OCD/"gotta share this information" department. I was a LOT like that as a kid. Not MUCH better as an adult - LOLOL!

They make it sound like Ps 119:160 is saying the Bible is God's word. Of course that's not what it's saying. Even worse, they take the verse out of context by only partially quoting it. The verse in the NWT says: "The very essence of your word is truth, And all your righteous judgments endure forever."
