Did you all see this?? A woman who was studying with the JW's discovered the elders letter about the new donation arrangement and let the person studying with her know about it asking her what it was about.
Suddenly she is marked as an apostate even though she is not a baptized witness.

Just further fulfillment of John 10:12, 13. The WTBTS can have all the "How to Shepherd God's Sheep" (aka "Flock") books they want. THEY don't care about those sheep (they're no longer in the business of shepherding - they've replaced that task with shearing, aka "fleecing") the sheep. Hence, they couldn't care LESS what the wolves (aka "elders") say... or do.

Even if they snatch and/or scatter those sheep.

As Christ said they would.

Is it not true that all the JW congregations (in the world),
will be allowed to retain only $5,000 in their account ?
So if a congregation has $250,000 in an account,
they will be required to send all but $5,000
to the Society ? Money donated by members?

And in addition to that money, each individual now is Tithing
(renamed 'pledging')
a monthly amount, and the congregation is also
obligated to send a monthly amount, in perpetuity ?
Like a Tax ? Or a Tithe ? To pay of pedophile lawsuits?
Build a huge compound for the comfort and security of the elite ?
Who are waited on hand and foot. And are accountable to no one?

The bank account consists of donations made by individuals?
They get to keep the account open with all but $5,000 being sent
to the "Society". In Christian churches there is absolute transparency
and accountability and the congregation members participates in all decision making.

The "magical" and mysterious Governing Body, in fact treats your money
as their personal wealth, traveling first class, accountable to no one.

The GB tells you they are 'miraculously' chosen by God as the "sole channel"
and in doing so replace Christ with themselves. "Not your organization"?
is that what someones wife told him ? Did you inform her the word organization
does not even appear in the Bible ? And Christ said you are all part of the
Body of Christ as equals, neither male nor female, Jew or Greek but all one,
one hope one faith, all equal. No mention of a "Governing Body" anywhere.

Where is the transparency ? Why the secret part of the letter, not to be read
to the congregation ? Secrets ? From eight men who claim to be the "sole
channel" ? Is this the 'Da Vinci Code' or what ? You have turned over your
minds and your souls and now your money also ?

Those Tithes, will in turn be sent to the Society for their "important" "work"
of printing more 16 page Watchtowers ? Of deceitfully turning over Real Estate?
And building luxury quarters for the governing elite ?

Its a well known fact the attendance at Kingdom Halls is dropping and
Halls have been sold off for lack of attendance. They are lying to you.
But hey, its 2014, and for 100 years the WT made themselves known
as the False Prophet. So why would you expect the truth to come out
of the mouth of the Anti-Christ ?

And - what does the Governing Body actually need money for?
Brothers donate free labor to build the Halls. Members donate
materials and give donations to pay for their own Hall, which never
becomes their property.
Other Churches manage without tithing,
to build churches, open soup kitchens for the hungry, provide shelter
to the homeless, and open Thrift Stores for the poor, and rehabilitation
centers for those with addictions, homes for unwed mothers, and still
other Churches build Hospitals, Schools, Build Villages and dig wells in third world
countries, and all their books and projects are open to both the governments
and their donating members to see where and how the money is spent.

They need money "for the work" what work is that exactly ?

The evidence on many ex-jw sites is that there are hundreds if not thousands
and thousands of mature men in the position of Elder, in JW congregations posting.
And these men post on "apostate" sites and know full well that the "organization" is
not what it claims to be. But - they may have various motives for leading a double
life. Being an Elder may be the only time they get to dress up in a suit and tie and are
treated as if they are important people. They are looked up to and get to judge others
in committee meetings and make decisions in other peoples lives. This may be their only
motivation, material and social gain and power and position. For those who believe in God;
and I have discovered the WT has successfully produced a lot of Atheists and spiritually
dead people with no feelings for other people or desire to seek God. But for those who
are sincere and see the false teachings, unsupported by the Bible, and the false prophesy,
and the distorted doctrines, and still remain Elders ? There is a point at which you need
to stand up, like a man, and face down the dragon, and have the courage of your convictions,
and the strength of character to speak out from the platform and to stand up to the Governing
Body, like a true soldier, like a righteous man.

glad you came by to add some feedback to this thread. i also saw you posting elsewhere and concur fully with such feedback, on this issue.

if you go back into my posting history elsewhere, under the name 'sf', you will see that it has been a target issue with me as well. i'm just so relieved to see it is now , hopefully going to stay a targeted issue with you and outlaws and a couple others who absolutely understand that it is NOW , up to those active online JW ELDERS TO GET THE JOB DONE.

An example those who are shaking in their boots and terrified of

Can you imagine, Elders, all across North America giving their
congregation a petition to sign to demand transparency
and accountability from WT Headquarters and writing a letter
objecting to the demand to empty the bank account and voting NO
on that and refusing to so ? I mean 'en mass' thousands of congregations
just say NO. Passive resistance. Refusal to donate one cent.

These eight little dictators set themselves up as Gods, like the true Anti-Christs
they are, and lord it over you and demand blind obedience. And you go like sheep
to the slaughter ? I do not think this is what Jesus had in mind.
"Wait upon Jehovah" ? Jehovah has absolutely nothing to do with the Watchtower
or the self appointed Governing Body, and their non-Biblical false doctrines.
