Well you all know the story about the chicken and the convention that was considered this week in the meeting. and we had some nice comments in JWN about it. But there was an omission:

The brother's chicken multiplied the next year whereas the other villagers chickens died.

Was the brother blessed for obeying the Watchtower? Was it a miracle?

I will prove in a snap that it wasn't. Quite the opposite: The Watchtower is actually to be held responsible for the loss of those chicken. They should be sued and pay! >:(

It is common logic:

The chicken are left unattended. In such an environment disease spreads. Chicken die and the others resort to cannivalism. Bacteria and viruses thrive. Only the strongest survive. Bacteria and viruses have ample time and suitable environment to mutate and become stronger. The surviving chicken become immune. But they pass the strong strains of the germs to the weaker chicken in the village, which die.

And one more: Evolution was proven by this Watchtower sponsored experiment on the chicken:
Survival of the strongest! >:)

Not sure we "all" know, dear ANOMOS (peace, luv!). I certainly don't; no clue, sorry to say.

I don't visit JWN any more (I am complying with their rules for banned folks, of which I am one... and take no offense; they have a right to say who can/cannot participate on their forum and for what reasons!* I totally respect that and so don't even visit to take a peek so as not to be tempted to break their rules!)

So, please, if you can... DO tell! But I must ask that you not post links, as I won't use them. So, just a summary, if you wish. If not, totally okay, too - just a topic I will have to overlook (as I probably should do with some others - LOLOL!)

Peace!

Your servant and a slave of Christ,

Shellamar

(*Which is NOT the same as someone telling me I cannot partake of the flesh and blood of Christ, because THEY say so!)

The WBT$ makes up BS stories all the time..
Sometimes they take a real story and tweak it..
By the time they`re done,it`s no where is near the original story..
Which make that story BS too..

Is the Chicken story real?!..
Some of it may be..But..
Don`t expect Truth from the WBT$..

In brief a bro went to the convention and left his chicken unattended*. When back 19 had died. But by the next year his chicken had multipied whereas most of the chicken in the village were stricken with disease and died. Jehovah blessed him.

* If he did this in Greece he would be in prison for a couple of years for animalslaught.
O- I wonder why nobody filed a case against WT for prompting its members to violate the law.

It doesn't matter if it happened or not.

Granded there maybe nobody to arrest for animalslaught.
But:
This 'experience' was written on the publications as an exmple to follow. It is prompting readers to practice illegal acts.

It's just silly, isn't it? I mean, in what way does the keeping of chickens illustrate serving God? In this case, it sounds more like God rewarding someone for neglecting his chickens!

I suppose the WT is trying to prove that he was blessed by God for being a JW. Anyone going to believe that?

Sadly, some WILL believe it, dear Char (peace to you!)... just like some believe in "crying" trees... and seeing Christ's "face" in burnt toast, dirty sock, used towels, and antique shrouds and such.

Peace!

A slave of Christ,

Shellamar

I want to twist the experience a bit and retell it in new light style but there are ladies here.
