Indeed, it is a "good" night. I plan on sleeping very well. As will many fantabulous special children and their amazing parents. As it was another fantastic weekend at 'da beach' with some pretty terrific individuals. Ahhhhhhhhhhh, life IS worth days like these!!

Sweet dreams my wheelie and my puppaluppaluppaluppagus!! {i shared with my little helper today, who has CP, how I have a 'friend' that I call puppaluppaluppagus; because the child registering at the table had a last name with opolopolous, or similar to that, at the end of their last name... she giggled. we all laughed together. that little girl is gonna rule the world one day.)

Ya know, I got to feeling real sad for the special needs kids and families in the wt church today, after WITNESSING how humans behave the WAY that is...Simply Natural. And also, by Being a part(icipant/volunteer) of something very Super Natural.

I love my life right at this moment in time. I want to find a Way to help these particular children in the wt church. Help them see that they are Special, in every Way.

I'd love to ask any elder on the internet, just WHAT and How they feel and think of these individuals and that of their families in their congregations that they 'watch over'. I'd be wise to prepare for the brute truth though. Perhaps a simple phone call, a survey, if you will.

Any hoot....just brainstorming.

Sweet dreams.............{falls into bed}

May you come to love EVERY moment of your life, dear Skalls (peace!). I have long shared with my children and others that if one is having trouble finding joy... then absent being able to ask for it from God/Christ... one need only exert oneself to GIVE (versus always looking to RECEIVE)... and do so perhaps among those they consider "less fortunate" (it's easier to give to those who are "like" us, agree with us, are loved by us, etc.). Although, I have learned a sublime truth: those who GIVE are often the TRULY "less fortunate"... but don't realize that UNTIL they give).

When I think of these, I am often reminded of my Lord's words that:

"You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked." Revelation 3:17

I am very glad you are finding a modicum (or more!) of peace in your dear life these days. I suspect it has been a longtime coming. I cannot imagine that those you are associating with and helping don't appreciate it. Especially the children - it takes SO little with them, yes?

May JAH bless you... and your endeavors to show these love.

Again, peace to you!

A slave of Christ,

Shellamar

I am SO tired, lol... waiting to put these 3 boys to bed, but they are in the other room playing castle crashers (a multi-player video game), and just giggling their butts off. Its their cousin's last night here, and I hate to end it when they're having so much fun. I just went in to hush them, and they turned down the game and all was silent... untl the dog let out two big snorting snores into that silence... and that just did them in, lol. My little one couldn't catch his breath, and they are still laughing. I think everything is more funny a) when you're overtired, and b) when you know any minute is your last because you KNOW your mom is coming to send you to bed!

Fortunately, the hubby was SO tired that he just passed out despite them!

Peace,
tammy

LOL... at that puppy. The one in the pic, I mean ; )

I am driving to my parents (4.5 hours), to bring the cousin most of the way home (my mom will drive him the rest of the way tomorrow, to also visit with my aunt), then I am returning first thing in the morning.

So I will see you all later!

Peace and love to you,
tammy

Thanks Loz!

I'm tired though... stayed up with my Dad watching Alien last night. But no more long driving trips for me for a bit... school starts in a week and a half for the kids.

Peace,
tammy

Hola, all, and peace to you!

Been gone a couple/few days: spent the weekend setting up home office, which involved moving furniture, laying down carpeting, moving office stuff from TV room TO office, disconnecting the internet and phone (which is why I haven't been by)... then putting all back and organizing the new space. As if that wasn't enough, though, in order to HAVE cable TV/Internet (now wireless - WHOO-HOO!)... I had to crawl under the house... twice. First, the day before yesterday to run the cable line from upstairs bedroom (where we never watch TV anyway) to "basement" where the new office is; then again yesterday, to run a phone line from breakfast nook (where we didn't use it) to the new office. The second day under the house went much quicker: the first day I made a "wrong turn" once inside the crawl space door (I went right... which required me to crawl all the way from the back of the house, then under a main joist so reach the other side where I had to crawl all the way back to reach vent where the cable was coming in. Once there, I looked to my left and guess what - yep, the little door. Had I made a LEFT just inside the door, I would have only had to crawl maybe 12 feet... versus the more than 40 I did! DOHHH!!!).

Needless to say, I'm quite stiff/sore. Used knee pads so saved my knees... but I'm old(er), so the body is feelin' it! LOLOLOL! I went because I'm much smaller than dear hubby... and I kind of like doing "handy" work. It's very clean and dry under our house... and two of the pups went with... so I was cool (well, technically, as there was nuthin' under there to fear, but I did have a couple/few hot flashes! Praise JAH, they were brief AND it was cool under there, too! LOLOLOL!)

BUT then... all that work... and the new cable/wireless boxes just didn't want to boot up! ARGHHHHH!! Took me two days and TWO trips to the Comcast store to exchange the boxes before it all "clicked".

Which, it just so happens... was 5 minutes ago!

At this point, though, I am EXHAUSTED, chikkens!

So, just wanted to stop by and say "hey"... 'splain why I've been away... say g'night... and that I will also be away tomorrow (another appointment). I should be back by tomorrow night/Wednesday, though, and we can catch up if I've missed anything.

So, again, peace to you all... and "see" you soon!

Your servant and a slave of Christ,

Shellamar
