NO DANCING LAST NIGHT, chikkens (peace to you all!)! "Standing room only" when we got there due to two parties bringing tons of folks with them (happens, occasionally, we were told and give the cost and fare, it's really isn't surprising - just hadn't encountered it before). Per the doormen, plenty of food (and we could dance), but no where to sit and eat it. SOooo... we decided against and went to a nearby restaurant and had dinner and GREAT (spiritual) discussion!

Another time, though, fo' sho'! Maybe next week, even... and I'll be more than ready!

Peace!

Shellamar, on her own...

Oh, I totally forgot... I am so tired this morning, my mind is a bit muddled ; )

We had the most wicked lightning storm last night. Really, I haven't seen one of these since I DID live in Ontario... so I can relate to Zoe and her storm stories.

I had to drive home in it last night after work. So it was dark, and the lightning was everywhere. Streaking across the dark sky, striking down all around, brilliant white flashes.

I don't even know how many touchdowns there were. But it was pretty awesome to see.

I was thinking of Zoe, then of all of you, during the storm... so I just wanted to share : )

Peace,
tammy

Good morning everyone...

Tammy, that sounded crazy. I don't mind it usually, but would hate to be alone in it. Glad your safe!

Yes as well, welcome Watersprout. Any questions we are here for you. /:)

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.

Love to you all
Justmom

Tammy these storms seem to be getting worse lately, I don't remember them as bad before. We are expecting another storm tonight, I will be unplugging the minute I hear a rumble which really is ridiculous.

We just lost our printer too this time. The computer is being fixed and needs another new Motherboard and never will it be hard wired again.
The guy from the cable company was here today and replaced the router again as it was running hot. He looked around outside and there was no ground fault on the cable. He fixed that and told us all the houses with cable from his company have all lost electronic equipment and that the company does not have proper ground fault equipment in this area. I am just thankful that we don't use them for TV or that would really be bad and expensive.
I want to get them to pay for this damage but so far they are playing dumb. I wish I knew how to do this legal stuff but their lawyers probably trump my lack of a lawyer grrrrrrr. I am going to call them and at least try and get free Internet for 6 months.

Well, we picked up my new car today. As usual I spoke to Christ re the decision as to which. Out of 2 in the end we kind of favoured the Citroen, but that was not to be, and circumstances finally led us to the other one which is a Toyota T Spirit. I had to smile, lol.

Anyway, am very pleased, our old Renault workhorse was past its sell by date and becoming hard work. We went off to the seaside for a run and had whippy ice cream with nuts and choc sauce as we watched the waves. Good times.

Love to everyone

Loz x

So happy for you as well Loz.

Now " whippy ice cream?"... Sounds yummy. It's that the same as " soft serve here?"

WEll, that was a quick and expensive lesson, lol.

They were bored. They have outgrown galaxyland. And since I went on the one ride that goes around in circles with them, and I KNOW I cannot go on circular rides without feeling sick, I did not try to talk them out of leaving!

Peace!
