I am so sad for you Zoe, and I wish you had others there to turn to so that you aren't so trapped. I know how bad it can be to be in a bad/controlling relationship. I hope you can find a way to peace. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Loz x

It is indeed Yikes, if there is a private area on this forum I would like hear your opinions on this.
It seems to me to be totally a deal breaker.

Perhaps you can have a private thread honey, if that'd help you I'm sure the admin would agree? Why not make a request?

So sorry to hear that Zoe; I know the feeling of being trapped. I'm glad you have this board.

Another hug for Zoe, and if you want a more secure area for such a personal matter, just let me know.

I just got home from the hospital with my little one. We didn't make it to the doctor, he was too sick. But all is good now, a couple of days of taking it easy, and he will be running around again. He is eating his soup and watching his cartoons now, and he was very brave for getting a needle too.

Peace!

tammy

Thanks everyone. He is eleven. It was vertigo... but really bad, and it was not improving, and it is what woke him up this morning. The hospital was worried because his heart rate was so high, so they gave him a cardiogram, but there were no problems there at all. I didn't think there would be. So he had a heart test, a blood sugar test, and vertigo physical tests, and the poor thing couldn't even move without getting sick. And I didn't realize quite how heavy he was, (or how out of shape I am, lol)... but I had to carry him to the van, carry him across the parking lot to the ER, then a policewoman saw us and brought me over a wheelchair.

I at least have lots of experience with vertigo, so I could reassure him this morning when he was so scared about what was happening to him.

I will give him all your well wishes!!

Peace,
tammy

Tammy, this may not have any bearing on your son's condition, but I have known this kind of severe vertigo to be a symptom of migraine. Just FYI.

So sorry TAMMY....

Ooh to be a parent and try to figure all the things that our kids go through. What to ignore and deal with at home. What to take to a doctor or tests. WOW!!! Tuff one!

How about his ears? Infections? Water?

Glad you had some tests. Keep us posted as to his recovery. I still sometimes wonder with mine if I should pursue some symptoms or just think they'll out grow them or learn to deal.

Any case, sorry for the worries. Hard on moms I know.

Love,to you and your family
Justmom

One sign that concerned me was his love of his firearms over you.

Morning everyone Image

It is a beautiful cool sunny morning here on Lake Chemong. I am up early again, can't sleep worrying about things.

The place is getting all set up and looking really pretty and it breaks my heart that it is a lovely place and so great for me and now probably have to move again. I am not sure I can handle much more.

Tammy, how is your son feeling now, did you both enjoy the movie last night?
