Just a good morning to everyone.

I had not intended to mention this to anyone but it has now leaked out that I have been in hospital.

I don't seek sympathy in any way, but a public statement is better than gossip, so now I'm just saying, yes, I've been unwell for a while and it's being investigated.

In the course of tests they gave me some medication which produced a severe reaction in my body, making me very ill indeed. It was stopped last Monday, but is still in my system and the effects linger.

I came home Wednesday night, and one of my sons is staying here for a week so I am we'll looked after.

I'm not seeking sympathy in any way and hadn't intended to tell the forum but news has now got out, so best to tell everyone myself!

:D

Morning everyone Image

I got my computer all working now, but poor John is having trouble as he got a completely new laptop and its a different system and he is having a total meltdown this morning because he can't figure it out. So much so that the dog is under my feel hiding and I am sick to my stomach. He is laying the guilt trip on me that I am happily typing away here with you guys and he can't use his.
We are heading outside to get away from him, Goodness I can't see how it helps to get angry and make sure we suffer too cause he is frustrated. ::::ranting:::: is not fun.

Oh no Zoe! Avoidance is best tactic lol, and keep smiling sweetly.

Tomorrow is a big birthday for hubby and he thinks his kids have something planned for then, and that we're out at a wedding party tonight. He is deceived lol! Tonight we have arranged a big surprise party for him. Folks have travelled from all over, and as I type and he watches the tennis in happy oblivion, they are busy setting up the room etc! Lets hope it goes well.

Loz x

Oh Loz, so so nice that your Hubby is loved so much. Is it the big 50?

When my hubby (deceased for 11 years now) had his 50th birthday I threw a surprise party for him at a nice restaurant. I paid for all the guests dinners and all their drinks so of course A lot of his friends and family came to it, he was totally blown away and really surprised which delighted me. The only glitch was he thought just he and I were going for a quick supper at the restaurant and so insisted on driving instead of taking a taxi. I said let's take a taxi just in case but he said NO I will only have 1 beer. So we drove cause I would have had blown my cover if I insisted. Needless to say he drank more than 1 beer, he had everyone buying him birthday drinks plus beer and wine. Luckily his daughter came to the party and she drove us home in our car and her hubby drove theirs to our house.

On a sad note, That was his last birthday, 6 months later he died accidentally, so glad I threw that party.

The dog and I are now more peaceful, we are out on the back deck away from the computer room and the raging in there lol. A gorgeous red cardinal is singing loudly and beautifully right near us. They have a beautiful happy song.
