Dang. Cross-posted with dear tec (mornin' and peace, luv!) and so lost my comments. Ah, well... if at first you don't succeed...

The gist:

A shout out and hug to dear Zoe (peace, luv!), first, along with regrets that we couldn't all just descend on her and dear hubby and pack them up!

Then, comment that it's overcast and chilly here... but s'posed to get up to 72, so not TOO bad ('though 82 is more my speed)... then satirically questioned "global warming" (isn't it supposed to make the weather uncommonly WARM for uncommonly long periods of time, etc.? but that the past 2 years HERE have seen virtually no spring/summer... just fall/winter-ish)... then shout out to "weather" gods that it IS June here, after all, so "someone" should get the lead out, etc., etc., etc.

Then the usually closing wish of peace to you all... (Peace!)

Then, me... on my own... typing with teeth chattering and fingers "freezing" fingers and hating it but not complaining ('cause I will warm up but like dear tec (peace! I refuse to turn on the heater in June!)...

Morning everyone
Yesterday was such a lovely day and perfect temperature. I tried to pack but was in so much pain from the day before that I only managed 2 boxes and then I suffered all the rest of the day and night with the pain. it is quite ridiculous to me as I could pack up a whole house in a few hours on my own before i got hit with this condition. I will not be packing again until Monday because John made sure I didn't have boxes lol and because my body needs to rest and because he will be home and we need to have some worry free time together relaxing. We are having company on Saturday so all my effort needs to go to choosing a simple meal for that night.

We are off to do shopping today, good day for it, its rainy again and damp.

Raining here too today...decided to catch up with some cleaning since its been a bit neglected lately. Got my kitchen sparkly again....that might have to do for today lol.

Good morning! It is actually NOT raining at the moment here, lol... but it is supposed to do so for the next week. I can't believe how much rain we are getting this year. Some places in Northern Alberta are having problems with flooding too.

Yes this is the year of too much rain and not enough sun in our part of Canada. An hour North of us there was really bad flooding and the water is still really high.

Fort McMurray, Alberta is flooding really bad now I hear.

Yeah, Fort Mac is the place i was thinking about, Zoe. I have family up there that i don't really know, though my aunt/uncle/and their twin boys who are my boys' age only moved away from there about a year ago.

So, sorry about all the rain you folks are having, I don't know what I would do with myself if I lived where it rained too much. I get too depressed in gloomy weather!
I am going to walk me and my puppy today as I am car less LOL!!!

But the sun is shining and that makes me real happy.

Good Morning, it is a lovely Sunny day here for a change and supposed to be nice all weekend. YAY.

We are going to go to last town we lived at today (40 min drive away) to both get our hair done, we haven't found a new hairdresser yet in the 2 years since we moved. We might even go to the local restaurant there after for a early supper of Wings. Its a tourist town so very happy atmosphere in the summer. I miss living there and my house on the water.
I am getting a color and also my hair layered and styled so that takes 2 hours. John is getting a cut and a man color put on, I think he looks better with his salt and peper hair but he doesn't so he gets it colored with that temporary man stuff. His hair only takes 35 mintues to do.
Thats my excitement for the week lol.

Nothing like a bit of a pamper Zoe, especially if you're out for tea afterwards. Still raining in UK..feels endless. Finished cleaning and did the grocery shop. Friends visiting tomorrow. Happy weekend everyone!
