Good Morning everyone, its Monday and I will be getting my tooth fixed this morning, what a miserable weekend I had fretting about that. At least my computer survived the Malware and John bought a antimalware program for me instead of installing a free one.

Hello Zoe, good to hear that your poorly computer is healed and that your tooth is getting fixed so tthat your smile can be back to normal....all good news!

A lovely sunny Bank Holiday Monday here, and I'm pleased to say that hubby and I have been tucked up in our office and succeeded in plowing through lots of work with the promise of a nice walk as a reward later.

Loz x

*sigh*

You know how you sometimes get involved in a post, then you get up do some other things. Come back into your kitchen (if that is where your computer is), frown at the stove, wondering why it is on. Sniff, and wonder what that smell is...

Then remember that you were cooking some hotdogs (or anything else for that matter)... and open the oven to the smoke and charred little beasts?

I do it all the time.

//;)

Peace,
tammy

Good morning and peace to you, dear Zoe! I'll have some tea, yes, please... thank you!

Shellama, trying to cover all of the requisite protocols for asking for/receiving service... holds out mug for tea... gives dear Zoe a kiss on the cheek... and then heads off the check around the "neighborhood" some more...

Good morning.

I am so distressed... though the end result is that my pup will be sick for a few days but he is not in danger and will be fine, so i am SO thankful for that.

Some lawn guys came and fertilized my lawn yesterday. Now I remember 'sort of' signing up months ago, but I had been assured that I would also receive a call before the time came. Well, I did not receive a call, nor even a knock on my door. The guy just did it, and they reassured me that it was all natural so safe for my dog. Well... my dog ate some through the grass, but even that is not a big deal. BUT we have a portion of our fence along the side of the house that is down, from the wind. The guy who came just sprayed pellets all over the fence as well. I did not even think to check that area. Except this morning, my dog went to the side of the house and came back with his mouth all foamy, and so I checked and I knew he had just eaten a bunch of them that would have been sitting there on the fence.

So I called them again, to find out the ingredients. Then I called the vet with those, and they told me to bring him in. He is going to be fine. But he got some charcoal to coat anything in his system so it does not get absorbed, and some medicine for the next few days to help do the same thing. He is going to be a bit sick too for a few days, but then he will be fine.

I just have to watch him because these things are all over the lawn, and it is not going to rain any time soon.

I am mostly annoyed with myself though, for signing up for something without fully investigating, regardless of their irresponsibility on their own end. But he IS going to be okay. Just a few days of under-the-weatherness... which is nothing compared to what might have happened if I had not noticed his frothy mouth and 'other end' problems, and taken him in to the vet. I am soooo thankful for that.

Thank you for letting me vent.

Peace,
tammy

Like having a toddler, ain't it? I know the feelin', girl (peace to you!). Don't fault yourself, luv. Unless, of course, you left a gun or drugs/drug pipe out... or the patio door/pool fence open, etc. Or bought a 5-year-old his "first" rifle... then failed to lock it up... (what in the HELL are some people THINKING??)

Otherwsie, "stuff" happens... with dogs AND toddlers.

Take care... and let us know how he's doin'.

Peace!

YSSFS of Christ,

SA

Thanks Justmom and Shelby. His name is ZZ Top (but he answers to anything with a Zee sound in it. I call him Zee Zee; Hubbie calls him Ozzie, kids call him Zee)

Forgive my panic mode, I am moving past it. Some of you might already have guessed that I do have a panic mode, and everything tends to come out at that time. No filters!

He just ate his food, and asked for a cookie (always a good sign), and he is happy and playing. So all of these things are really good! The vet said it was really good that we went in right away too so nothing has a chance to absorb into his system and stomach and intestines, causing ulcers. She saw no ulcers in his mouth (because this stuff burns, and that is why he was foaming), and the charcoal and medicine will keep him from any more harm. I just watered the whole lawn (drowned some of it), and that should help with absorbing the pellets. But I saw through the fence, that the fertilizer is also all in the neighbors adjoining area!! I told her, because they also have a dog, and I was going to clean that up for them, but she said not to worry, they would take care of that. She just hopes our pup gets better quick.

*big long sigh of relief*

Peace and love to you!

tammy

So glad " Ozzie" is doing well.

Since I have an " Ollie" I like the name Ozzie.
So glad he has a great family that loves HIM!

Keep up updated on his recovery

I am so glad to hear your doggy is OK Tammy. I posted a message for you hours ago here but it isn't here now? Strange but no problem, just mentioned it to let you know I have been feeling for you and your doggy and family all day.
Hugs
