My computer isn't working today so I am on John's and so do not have my pictures and all that stuff.
this forum is good but I do miss the smilies and the choices of backgrounds. I don't like white backgrounds, I want a nice black one with nice contrasting colors.
Let me go find some tea for Tammy lol.

How do you put images in here? I did it like I did at the other forum and id didn't work

To Zoe: By "images" do you mean "avatar"? The little picture near your username? If so, this is how to do it:

1. Look to the top of the screen for "User Control Panel". Click it open.
2. Look for the word "Profile" on the second tab. Click it open.
3. Look for "Edit Avatar" on the left side of the screen in the little list. Click it open.

Now you'll see the place to upload the image you want to use.

I used photobucket and got that image in.

I think as long as you post the link (image code), the pic will automatically go in.

The one above had two weird pics at first. So I just deleted everything except what was between the [img] codes.

I don't think there are any black backgrounds yet, though forumatic might be updating that. You can still choose your own background, but there are only about 6 choices.


i think that I can add smilie packs... i just have to figure out how

I don't think we can upload images direct from our computers though. But I don't think I could ever do that. I always used photobucked. I'll check...

that was one of yours Zoe, from the other site. I just used the same code that you used when you posted it over there. Just make sure you put it in between the [img] icons.

This forum has a background VERY similar to the one I used on our old site, dear Char (peace to you!), as well as a black one. You can find those in the the User Control Panel function. Try them all and see what suits your tastes!

I am afraid it's not something that would be of interest here. I will leave it at that. you don't want to know.

I meant pictures not avatars. If it's the same as the other site then I know how to do it. I was on my husbands computer and his mouse is not the best.

This forum has few choices of backgrounds but I don't like any of them lol. I am fussy that way. I will get used to it. The black one they offer is not to my liking.

I am just happy we have this place and it's all set up again. Thanks so much for all the work and love you put into it Tammy.
