Uhmmmm...... I dont mean to be rude, im certainly not a mod, but i was really rather enjoying the sci fi/movie discussions the copywrite foolishness is really... Well....., not what i came to be involved in.

I prefer the friendly chat with those i have been forceable cutoff from on jwn that i was previously having...

Btw glad, not a shot at you. I was being a smart alec earlier about the copywrite thing earlier, not expressing a serious concern. Didnt mean for it to be anything more than a passing snarky remark

Well, in that case, did you know Data had a daughter? I never saw that episode in TNG (or at least I don't remember seeing it). I think Shelby, you discovered that... at the convention you went to?

Peace,
tammy

Absolutly! I remember that one!!! He made her and it lead to a whole thing where the federation was afraid of him creating new life and did he own it and so on... It wasnt the best episode ever but was interesting. I prefered the story lines with his "emotions" and what went along with them in his quest to be "human".... So now let me ask: did YOU know that he had sex with someone????????? (Not a joke btw....) (well sex in a tv scifi way, meaning implied and actually discussed after the fact but not shown...)

YES!

That is one of my favorite episodes. (Tasha Yar, and the drunk episode) I loved that episode. I loved Tasha's outfit I met her at comic-con last year.

Did you know that Data has had sex - and a relationship - with another woman a bit later on?

I could be implying the sexual part of the relationship with the second woman, mind you... now i am second guessing myself...

There was a woman who just got out of a bad relationship, and she like Data because he wouldn't yell or get angry or anything.... BUT... when she got her 'sea legs' back from her bad relationship, she started wanting more than what Data had to offer emotionally. I can't remember her name. I have to look it up...

Jenna...

No, I don't.

I seem to remember a few different ones, but I don't know what came first. The one where Worf is living various lives (some kind of time-flux thing); and then also that one where Deanna was working out some kind of ghost-psychic thing where bodies were buried in the walls of the ship...

Peace,
tammy

It was the one where he was shifting through different quantium realities he shifted into one where they were married and when came "home" he pursued it

Good question pup, but not apples to apples. The doctor was supposed to be human and have emltions and such where as data was supposed to "less" human... But i really liked the doctor! So in that vein, do you all remember the elisode where they had to erase part of the doctors memory because he had to make a choice between treating one of two people with similar injuries? Excelent moral quandry

I am glad to see that the copyright matter may have been resolved, at least to OUR satisfaction (peace to you all and particularly you, dear, dear Glad!)... and we're now back on trek... uh... track - LOLOLOL!

I am NOT so glad to see how many TNG episode details I can't recall. Every now and again I have to do a mind "dump" (for work, or I'd never get ANYTHING done - LOLOLOL!)... and so my memory is sometimes spotty (and/or I missed an episode).

I did NOT know that Data had a daughter (I was like, say WHAT??), which I learned at the convention, yep, dear tec (peace, chile'!) but dear hubby did.

Continue to boldly go, chikkens... boldy go!

Peace!

SA, on her own...

I just watched that episode with Data and Jenna... just a relationship though. Also she had just gotten out of a relationship with an emotionless man... and somehow rebounded onto Data

peace,
tammy

Far be it from me to boast ( said delightedly smugly!) but I remember all those episodes, every one. This is because I am a total nerd, a true Star Trek addict!

One of the great things about Star Trek is its appeal on so many levels, pure sci-fi, the vastness of space, time travel, ethics, philosophy, theology, humour, excitement, drama, shoot'em-up like a Western, goodies and baddies, tragedy, sheer soap opera... The list goes on!

When we talked about our favourite DS9 characters, I forgot Odo, He was definitely one of mine.
