Barbara is no longer VP at AAWA..Nor is she a Member of AAWA..
She will not be discussing AAWA on JWN,or on any other Forum..
Barbara has Friends at AAWA and will help them out when she can..

Barbara has Not given Reasons to Anybody for Resigning..
I believe she had too many irons in the fire..
She had been expressing for weeks to friends that she was exhausted..
From working on another project..
Everyone concerned will see the fruits of this project in the future..
This project came into Barbara's life..
A few months after she agreed to be part of AAWA..

It was Decided by Barbara..
The other project needed her Full Attention...
For Health Reasons,she can`t do Both..

Dear Barbara doesn't owe us or anyone an explanation for her decisions, dear Sher'f (peace to you and her!). She made a choice, she changed her mind... for whatever reason and under whatever circumstances.

I realize that our past association with the WTBTS leads some of us to believe that we MUST be involved in every little aspect of every other xJW's life... but we don't. Indeed, that is one thing I LOVE about no longer being a JW: I don't HAVE to explain NUTHIN' to NOBODY if I don't WANT to.

The same applies for dear Barbara. She resigned from an organization that has a mission of interest to some xJWs. If we even needed to know (I didn't), that's ALL we need to know. Anything else is entirely her choice to share... and no one else's business, IMHO.

So, thank you for the update... and peace to you, both!

Very good posts.

It's all too easy for the general public, which includes all of us unless we know someone personally, to judge the actions of another. Our judgements can only be based on superficial assumptions.

Outlaw, your simple, factual comments are brilliant. Backed up, as they are, by badge and gun, they're just plain genius!

I have a lot of respect for Barbara and her hard work and courage in exposing the WTBS. She's entitled to make decisions and/or to change her mind however she chooses. She doesn't have to justify anything, nor answer to any of us.
