Greetings, and may you all have Peace!

Dear Hubby and I made the annual pilgrimage so that we could be counted in the WTBTS census - LOLOL! A lot of the same ol'-same ol' no surprise here... and a couple of surprises:

1. Same ol' no surpise "ain't nobuddy s'posed t'et dem crakkers o' drank dat whine 'cept fo' dem speshul foke... an' ain't nunna ya'll speshul, so"...

2. First (mild) surpise: on the way, I wondered how long we were going to need to continue going. I'd forgotten and was thinking that maybe it is when all off the "old guard" are gone. So, I looked up the current group. Gerritt Loesch seems to be the only one left (I don't count the "token" Sam Herd, sorry). Anyway, as I read about them (on Wikipedia) I learned that at the 2012 international convention it was announced that ONLY the governing body is the "faithful and discreet slave." This made my stomach sick because they justified that by saying these provide food "at the proper time" for the "domestics." They then say the rest of the anointed and the great crowd together are the "domestics."

This made me sick for four (4) reasons:

(a) Per Christ, the Body has no leader except him and one Teacher, him, so we are to have no leaders among us and none of us are the other's teacher. That we share what we receive among us is appropriate - that we designate ourselves as a "certain someone" with some kind of higher, separate position and authority... is NOT from Christ.

(b) They used to teach that all anointed were part of the FDS, which is why I had little problem at first when they posted what I sent them.in their magazine.

(c) And so now they're taking full and sole credit for stuff they don't even come up with but others send/sent to them.

(d) Which I personally know to be the case, because Carey Barber told me that the GB hasn't had anything to do with the WT "since 1972." And the first video tape explained that "young men in the Writing Dept." would scour files for material.

This shouldn't have been a surprise, their lying and plagerism... but I have to admit I was caught offguard.

Even so, the Master kindly reminded me it is until they completely remove the "constant feature"... i.e., stop the public partaking - which the speaker alluded to saying the observance would one day cease but quantifying with "when Christ returns," to which my Lord said, "That is what they're saying now, child, but will deny when the time arrives, as they did with their 1914, 1919, 1935, 1975, and 2008 false prophecies." who the current GB folks were.

And so, being reminded of who and what they were, I was, able to ratchet my feelings back and return my focus to why we were going, for whom, and how long. When we arrived, I was helped by the verse they had up, Isaiah 40:31. The verse was uplifting, yes (I saw "JaHVeH" not "JeHoVaH"), but the entire chapter utterly renewed me! Yes, I'm glad another year is passed, but I'm already good for next year - LOLOL! I'll explain below.

3. Second (not so mild) surprise: the speaker announced that 18,562 "partook" last year. Whoa. That's more than double of when I was asked to leave (8.7k-something). So much for that false prophecy and it's "decreasing" number. Of course, they "justified" the increase by saying it's still small in comparison to the 20m+ that attended. As far as I'm concerned, though, false prophecy is false prophecy... and so, as our dear Lord told us, "a little leaven garments the ENTIRE lump."

4. Third (very nice) not so surprising but kinda: my dear BIL, who sat with us, also partook (you GO, BIL - LOLOL!!).

5. Fourth (VERY surprising but WONDERFUL) surprise: "someone" behind us, we did not see who, at the time or later... ALSO PARTOOK!!! Yep, four of us!!! We knew s/he did... because everyone in the KH could hear them "chewing" that hard cracker - LOLOLOL!! As usual, dear Hubby and I (and dear BIL) let our's soften a bit before chewing. Even so, it was no secret that we had partaken: as usual, the crackers were in huge pieces that had to be broken. And so, there was the clunking of the plate and a (very) loud "snap" as we each broke a piece.

Next year, I'm just going to take a big piece and eat it all; however, NEXT year... I just might "crunch" my cracker until it's all gone. That might help them see that breaking smaller pieces... and maybe even (a bit) softer "bread" might be a good thing. Someone should tell them, though, that someone should make sure the "brother" who breaks it has washed his hands. I was briefly distracted by the thought maybe not when I saw the man preparing our's - LOLOL!

Anyway, we'll be back there next year, JAH and Christ willing. Maybe even provide our fellow partaker some support. Not that s/he needed it - whoever s/he was (and I "felt" a he)... s/he had NO qualms. S/he crunched that cracker LOUDLY and confidently. As if to say, "Yep, I'm dinna DEM foke!" - LOLOLOLOLOL!

So, that's it. Another year, another JW Memorial under the belt and passed.

As always, peace to you all... and to your dear households!

Your servant, sister, and a slave of Christ,

Shel

I partook privately. I went mainly to be reminded of why I don't attend anymore, and how egregious their teachings are. The more I listened to the talk, the angrier I got. When the speaker started out with "two distinct hopes" I could feel my blood pressure rising. Then passage after passage, they conveniently left out either a verse before or a verse after that would completely disprove what they were saying. Such as Romans 8:15-17 to prove who are anointed or not. How about verse 14? I kept muttering "nope" under my breath and shaking my head "no" after every one. When I arrived, I was in a pretty good mood, and happy to see people I've not seen in a while. By the time it was over, I was very angry. I will not go next year.

It dawned on me that the ONLY reason they have this issue with partaking is the extremely mistaken view that the New Covenant Luke (22:20) and the convenant for a kingdom (Luke 22:29) are the same thing. Just because the covenants were made with the same people does not mean they are the same thing. Even their Insight book acknowledges they are different since the parties are different. The New Covenant has "Jehovah" and Israel as the parties. The convenant for a kingdom has "Jesus" and the ones he chooses to share his kingship with. Completely different covenants.

Going back to some older WT articles, I came across this:

Quote:
What of those who will live on earth under his Kingdom? They are beneficiaries of the new covenant. (Gal. 3:8, 9) Although not participants, they ‘lay hold’ of this covenant by submitting to its requirements, just as was foretold by the prophet Isaiah: “The foreigners that have joined themselves to Jehovah to minister to him and to love the name of Jehovah, in order to become servants to him, all those keeping the sabbath in order not to profane it and laying hold of my covenant, I will also bring them to my holy mountain and make them rejoice inside my house of prayer.” Jehovah then says: “For my own house will be called even a house of prayer for all the peoples.”—Isa. 56:6, 7. w10 3/15 p. 27 par. 14 (italics theirs)

To support their two-class system, they have to go to the OT, yet the OT has another passage that shows that the foreigners will share the inheritance:

“You are to apportion this land among yourselves, among the 12 tribes of Israel. 22 You should distribute it for inheritance among yourselves and to the foreigners residing with you who have had children while living among you; and they will be like native-born Israelites to you. They will receive an inheritance among the tribes of Israel along with you. 23 You should give the foreign resident an inheritance in the territory of the tribe where he has taken up residence,” declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah. - Ezekiel 47:21-23

In the NT, Paul explained how the wall between Israel and the nations was destroyed:

Therefore, remember that at one time you, people of the nations by fleshly descent, were the ones called “uncircumcision” by those called “circumcision,” which is made in the flesh by human hands. 12 At that time you were without Christ, alienated from the state of Israel, strangers to the covenants of the promise; you had no hope and were without God in the world. 13 But now in union with Christ Jesus, you who were once far off have come to be near by the blood of the Christ. 14 For he is our peace, the one who made the two groups one and destroyed the wall in between that fenced them off. 15 By means of his flesh he abolished the enmity, the Law of commandments consisting in decrees, in order to make the two groups in union with himself into one new man and to make peace, 16 and to reconcile fully both peoples in one body to God through the torture stake, because he had killed off the enmity by means of himself. 17 And he came and declared the good news of peace to you who were far off, and peace to those near, 18 because through him we, both peoples, have free access to the Father by one spirit.
19 So you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens of the holy ones and are members of the household of God, 20 and you have been built up on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, while Christ Jesus himself is the foundation cornerstone. 21 In union with him the whole building, being harmoniously joined together, is growing into a holy temple for Jehovah. 22 In union with him you too are being built up together into a place for God to inhabit by spirit. - Eph 2:11-22

The JW leadership has rebuilt the wall Christ destroyed!!!!

As for two distinct hopes?

One body there is, and one spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. - Eph 4:4-6

Yes, and hence, the fulfillment of the second beast, dear, dear LQ (peace to you, dear brother!):

"It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed...

"It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.

... was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed."

They've "resurrected" the "fence," which is the Law (Covenant).

So glad you got that but truly hoping your anger will be turned to pity and you WILL enter in among them next year and not only stand UP for CHRIST'S direction and HONOR his sacrifice in front of those who try to bury it... but act as an ambassador... or PUBLIC OFFICIAL on his behalf for those among them who MIGHT (also) be "wishing" (and "thirsting").

Up to you, of course, but a girl can hope - LOLOL!

Peace to you and to your dear household, brother!

Your servant, sister, and a slave of Christ,

Shel

Thank you Dear Shelby for sharing with us your visit to the Kingdom Hall yesterday. Very interesting even though there isn't anything new under the sun. The WT's constant switching of how many anointed there are partaking and all that goes with that is nothing new I am sure but so pathetic. Good that you, your hubby and BIL partook and one other. I am surprised they counted you and hubby and BIL in the census, I would think they would try and fudge the numbers as much as they can LOL.

LQ thanks for sharing your visit to the Kingdom Hall, so sorry it makes you angry, I do hope it will soon just make you sad but everything takes time. The important thing is that you clearly see how Wrong they are and how they (the religion) are just as bad even not worse than all the other religions.

I did not go out to a Kingdom Hall, I partook by myself. I left the "bread" and the wine out on the table after I partook so when John came into the room later I could open the subject up to him. I don't want to preach to him or assume that he wants to do things because I do. Anyway he didn't say a thing, didn't ask or acknowledge that the wine glass was there with a bit of red wine left and a broken up cracker. It was 3 feet away from him under his nose LOL. I don't drink in the daytime and he would usually always pounce on anything different I did and this wasn't usual. So I came and sat down at the table and picked up the wine glass and set it on my walker tray and said I had this because this day is The anniversary of Christ's death and sacrifice. He smiled and said I didn't comment or ask but I knew what it was for and no problem. I didn't know you did that and that you prayed but I respect your wanting to pursue your faith. I said yes I do it most days but didn't want to shove it in your face as I am not sure you are interested in spiritual things. He shrugged but didn't say he wasn't interested. I said I can do it with you if you want as I don't want to leave you out, I shouldn't assume. He said that is fine I don't need to do it for now but you go ahead. I said do you know what its about and he said he did, we discussed a couple of things but not to much as I didn't want to come across as preachy. He teased me the whole evening about it in a good natured way which was kind of sweet.
That was my unexciting Memorial experience but for me it was a way to expose my new faith and beliefs to my husband.

Unexciting, dear Zoe(peace to you, luv!)????? As far as I'm concerned that is one of if not THE most exciting thing you've shared here: that you were able to speak openly with your dear John about this event and your faith!!! That is HUGE, IMHO, given his view of religion and maybe even opposition to this practice. You not only didn't have to hide (as some might) but were even able to have brief discussion without being shutdown or causing a row. BIG, don'cha think?!

Perhaps he's not where you are... and may never be... but if all you got was good-natured teasing, count yourself BLESSED, dear, dear sister! Because as anyone with an "unbelieving" mate can tell you... and you yourself well know... It isn't always that "easy" - LOLOL!

Please give your dear John our thanks... and sincere wish for peace!

And, of course, again, peace to you!

Your servant, sister, and a slave of Christ,

Shel

Well YES, it was a milestone for me but I thought for others it might sound boring. I am overly cautious as I am afraid to turn him off as I know how it was for me having self righteous holier than thou people telling me what to do.
I hope to tell him a little bit at a time in a natural normal way. Thank you for being happy for me, I so want to share stuff with him and let him know that there is no need to be anxious or worry about things which he is now about the politics etc.

Peace to you Zoe, and 100% ditto what Shelby (peace also to you, and to you also leaving) just said.

That was not an unexciting memorial, lol. That is EXCITING! That is SO good to hear, and thank you so much for sharing that with us!!! I am SOOO happy for you, and also for dear John.

Do you remember last year I shared that I went to the Memorial; I just gave my witness (eating and drinking) but did not get to speak with anyone? I was worried I had missed something I should have done? But then when I got home my sons were interested to hear what this was all about. And I got to share many things with them about my faith, and our Lord. I was SO happy about that. And that is the same joy and peace and love that I feel whenever I am able to share with my husband just as you shared with yours.

I feel that joy for you now. So yes, your night was definitely exciting, something to rejoice over, and not boring at all!

(I had my experience written down and lost it (got logged out, my own fault). So I will try and get that out sometime this evening.)

Peace to you all, and to your DEAR households,

Good evening everyone and peace to you all,

Just now home. Long fast trip! But truly an honor to be able to "enter in among them" and proclaim our Lords sacrifice before men.

First. Zoe I am so happy that you partook and all the worry as to John was not even a worry. He is okay with you and " your thing" but don't worry about whether he does or not. If and when the time comes that he asks, our Lord will direct you what to share. If not, it is truly okay.

LQ. Glad my brother you are able to "see" how disgusting this entity is and truly what a beast that she is! The lies! The gross disloyalty that they ARE!

I too as Shel said hope that your anger will turn to pity for them. It it then that it becomes easier to be able to pray for them. For mercy to be shown on their behalf. They carry this mark of the beast and they are an anti- Christ. How can we not feel so much sorrow for their blindness?

TEC, peace to you my sister. So glad you were able to go. Just you being there and partaking is profound. Especially since they mentioned how many Kingdom Halls will not have ANY that partake because the number is so minute now. What a shame to brag about this! Utter sadness!

Our memorial was pretty typical. Same ol for the most part. The disgusting part of the talk was the "brother" giving the talk spent 90 percent of the time talking about how those with an earthly hope will benefit from the sacrifice by being able to live longer that a tree. Living way longer than a billion minutes and making apple pies from trees that are thousands of years old and we are even older than them. WOW!!!!!! Only a few sentences on what actually took place the night before Christ died. Absolutely disgusting. But our Lord reminded me it is because they are preparing the people for the complete " removing of the constant feature" and folks are craving this day. So why the need to talk about Christ's body and blood.

Yes Shel, he mentioned several times that it is coming soon. The day they will no longer be celebrating this event. Funny thing, they are preparing them for this ( and they are actually looking forward to this) but they are not preparing them for " the great tribulation" which is supposed to be so horrible of a time of test for them, than some Jehovah's witnesses will not get through it alive.
And the returning of Christ to gather the last of his chosen ones, which is the reason they will no longer need to "observe" the memorial anymore will be immediately AFTER this great horrible tribulation.
MATTHEW 24:29-31.

Any ways, they'll come up with more BS to cover the BS that they now teach.

When we sat down this year, one of hubbys cousin sat by me. Funny, the year before last, he moved from sitting by me. Said he couldn't do it. This year he actually sat next to me. I asked him if he was going to be alright and he said " yes". I thanked him! ( smile)

On the left of hubby another cousin of his sat by him. We were actually surprised he came and then sat with us. Now, he partakes at home and we have partook with him at his house and has told us he has known his whole life he should partake but knows how the WTBS would receive him so he never has at memorial. (I believe he said he went to an out of town Kingdom Hall to partake once but will not do it locally.)

Now, hubby said he saw him struggle when the plate came around. So he passed it over! The control this beast has to get folks to deny Christ is unreal.

My heart was so saddened to see this. I asked our Lord what I could share with him. After the memorial I gave him a hug and whispered what our Lord told me.

Our Lord said, " Perfect Love casts aside ALL fear!" " Dont be afraid to proclaim your Lords sacrifice before men."

It is this fear from this FEARsome beast that folks cannot get past. It's hold is treacherous and vicious.

But i am thankful to have sat in between them both. Whatever is in hearts, if they are truly asking, may our Lord plant His seed of truth and make it grow. They got "to see" us partake right next to them.

So, wonderful weekend. To another year!!!!

Goodnight everyone,

Love and peace to you,
Your sister servant and fellow slave of Christ,
kim

Good Morning friends.

Tammy I am looking forward to hearing about your Memorial experience at the Kingdom Hall but the fact that your boys wanted to know about it and you could share with them was wonderful for you and encouraging for me/us. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for sharing your experience Kim, now that I know what you had to go through to go to your old Kingdom Hall I am in awe that you and your hubby loyaly go there still, but I know it is out of love. It seems obvious that it is working because your Hubby's cousins are obviously warming up to you both again and one of them does partake even though its not there.

The talk given was truely silly, trees and how many apple pies you will be able to make, REALLY! It is totally disgusting that they only talked about the reason for Memorial for a few minutes. The fact that they are joyfully looking forward to not having to observe the Memorial anymore is beyond twisted, I mean really, they can't wait to stop thanking Christ for his sacrifice??? I would think even when he returns and all the chosen one's have gone from earth that a person would still thank Jah and Christ for all they have done and their sacrifice. It is like they can hardly wait to completely forget about Jaheshua. Who do they think will be their King after Armageddon and will rule them, are they going to bypass Christ and go directly to Jah all the time and ignore their King. I don't get what they are thinking lately as I don't associate with them and try and avoid them as it makes me feel sick with memories of how unloving and hypocritical they are.

Lovely to hear from you all and have a wonderful day.
Peace and Love from Zoe

Now this has got me to thinking a lot, probably too much LOL.

#1 - The growing numbers of 144K?? what is the new cutoff date, I know the original was 1914? I don't know any JW's right now to ask but how do they explain the changed date now?
Plus if Christ already came in 1914 or whenever the changed date is then how does 1 Corinthians 11:26 apply
Quote:
For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
? If he already has come then why are they eating or drinking at all if there is still numbers left?

#2 - What is the WT's explanation as to how the Great Crowd's sins are forgiven if they aren't included or allowed to eat Christ's body and drink his blood?

May you have peace!

As Shelby said (and all who went have corroborated, lol), same old, same old... except this year there was one addition to the "talk" that has never happened before (in all the times that I have been going, at least). And an interesting thing about my seating arrangements. But I will get to that below.

Each year I go to the same congregation of the people who I studied with (when I did that two year bible study). Every other year, the memorial is combined with two other halls at a convention centre, and on the off year (this year), they attend their own hall, just the one group.

Before I went this year, I handed anything that might happen that night over to our Lord. If an opportunity arose to speak to someone and share more, then I asked I would hear Him and speak the right words. If not, then not.

(Now, the partaking... I was not asking about that. That is something we choose to do for HIM, to proclaim Him before men, out of love also for those who are so misled, etc. Some might not have chosen to do this before men yet, but we can always hope... indeed, love always hopes!)

So I get to the hall, and an older elder greets me and asks me if I had others with me. I said I did not and that I was just going to find a seat. He called another older elder over and asked the man to help me find a seat. THAT elder said, 'Oh, there are seats right up front. I'll take you up there." So I started to walk behind him... when another elder (one who recognized me from former years) comes over and points to me and says, "Just one, right? YOU have to go to the BACK." And he gestures to the back room (the glassed in room), which I have to tell you, that room was even more crowded than the main area.

I didn't even get a chance to say anything. (I would not have argued anyway). But the elder who was first with me said, "No, no... there are four seats right up front. I am taking her there."

So I just said, "Okay", lol, and turned and followed him. I did not see the face of 'elder you have to sit in the back', but he did reach around me and for the other man's arm, to try and stop him. Either the other man did not feel it, or just did not get what was UP with 'elder you have to sit in the back', because he brought me right to the front row and I had four seats to choose from. I thanked him and sat.

I have never sat in the front. I have never chosen that. I always sit in the middle or toward the back. But that is where I was placed, so...

Now, the speaker was the man who I had multiple discussions with a couple years back (with him and his wife) about partaking, and their 'two hope doctrine' etc. And his BIL is the elder who asked me for the scriptures to back up everything I had shared at that memorial (which I gave him, but which he has never commented upon).... and he was sitting just a few seats away (in the next row over). He was also the usher (the person who stands at the end of the row to pass the bread and wine) who stood next to me then.

Okay, so the talk starts... same old stuff that you all know and I will not repeat. Then comes time to pass the bread. And here is the part that was different. I took the bread and I started eating it (loud, because it crunches), and I realize that the speaker is speaking again. He stepped back UP to the podium and is now speaking about eating 'unworthily' and warning against such thing and describing consequences. Nothing that they do not already teach, using fear to keep people from saying YES to Christ and to His body and blood, even though He is offering, "This is my body, given for you, take and eat... This is my blood, poured out for you, drink from it all of you." But here the speaker is giving a 'warning' during the passing of the bread.

So I got the sense that this warning was for me, but then I shake that off, thinking no, that can't be, the talk is the same everywhere, right? But I have NEVER heard anyone start speaking at the podium during the passing of the bread (or wine). That passing is usually done in silence, solemn, and because it is done in silence, anyone who partakes (even if not seen through the crowd) is surely HEARD.

So I was taken a bit aback. To try and warn (scare) people away from eating the bread WHILE the bread (the body of Christ) is being passed around? Wow.

Then came the passing of the wine, and no disruption that time. Just silent passing.

(I was thinking about that when I got home and thinking about how little attention most people are paying at the passing of the bread and wine anyway; and also if you were going to give a warning, why would you not give it before passing the bread rather than during? Then I received from the Spirit (that even though it was a warning for me), speaking during the passing of the bread also served to cover over even the SOUND of someone partaking, which everyone would HEAR even if they could not see.)

The memorial ended just afterward, and I was able to share about our Lord's teaching on partaking with the young woman who had sat behind me.

I then learned, because I had emailed with Shelby that night, that this added warning during the passing of the bread was NOT part of the regular talk because it did not happen with them. That was for me.

So that was my experience.

**

Oh, and I also understand the same as Shelby shared, that we are to keep going until they put an end to the 'constant feature' (the daily sacrifice), whenever that might be.

Peace to you all, and to your dear households,
your servant and sister and fellow slave of Christ,
tammy

Greetings, dear Kimmie, and peace to you, luv! YES!! Our speaker said that same thing, that the partaking would end when Christ returns, which is "soon." Which isn't wrong, per se, but as you share, no mention of the (great) "tribulation" which occurs FIRST. But they have their "dates and times" mixed up, don't they? (And a caution to all of you dear ones regarding that, if you are "thinking" upon, say, 2019, etc. - don't do it! It can be a snare and lead you to tire out - Galatians 4:10. Rather, just KNOW that the things we were promised WILL come, whether in our life times or another generation's. I mean, Abraham, Moses, the Apostles, etc., are still waiting, are they not? And all hoped for the kingdom to come in their time, so...). I digress.

Quote:
I would think even when he returns and all the chosen one's have gone from earth that a person would still thank Jah and Christ for all they have done and their sacrifice. It is like they can hardly wait to completely forget about Jaheshua. Who do they think will be their King after Armageddon and will rule them, are they going to bypass Christ and go directly to Jah all the time and ignore their King.

I feel like something needs to be clarified here, dear Zoe (peace to you, as well, luv!). You could be saying something different (than what I think I'm reading), but just in case...

Our dear Lord returns AFTER the "great tribulation"... which is NOT Armageddon. Armageddon occurs (more than) "a thousand years" AFTER that - AFTER Christ returns, gathers his chosen ones, takes them back to the spirit realm (during which time the Adversary is abyssed), is joined with them in "marriage" of SPIRIT... after which he and they (they, the NEW Jerusalem, and he, the "Tree of Life" in the CENTER of "her")... comes BACK to the physical realm ("down out of heaven") to rule UPON the earth, which "rule" involved the "separating" of the "sheep" from the "goats" - based on what such "did/did not do" to those of the New Jerusalem, and thus to Christ)... which separating takes "a thousand years"... AFTER which the Adversary is loosed from the abyss and goes out to mislead the "goats" (Gog) and bad spirits (Magog - which are NOT the demons from Noah's day OR our Lord's day in the flesh - these are in Tartarus/the sea - but are the ones thrown down with the Adversary in 30 CE - Revelation 12:9, 10, 17... to come AGAINST the "Beloved" City - those that make up the New Jerusalem... this being "the 'gathering' of them at the place called, in Hebrew, 'Harmageddon'"... which is the War of the "Great Day of GOD Almighty"... or "Armageddon"... where fire comes down from the MOST Holy Himself... and consumes these, Gog and Magog.

Just in case you're thinking, as the WTBTS teaches, that the "Great Tribulation" is "Armageddon" (it is not) or that Armageddon precedes the "separating" of the sheep and goats (it does not), etc.

Even so, glad to read these accounts - SO encouraging!! If anyone is feeling a little "tired" about going each year, I encourage you to read Isaiah, Chapter 40. Talk about strength-renewing!! Well, it certainly helped me - LOLOLOL!

Take care, may JAH and Christ continue to bless and grant peace to you ALL... and to your dear households!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shel

OMG Tammy your experience at the Memorial was really something else. OMG!! Talk about everyone knowing that you partook of the emblems and that Elder getting up and warning people NOT to partake because you were partaking. That is kind of awesome actually that you were involved and able to praise Christ so openly.
Thank you for sharing, to me this was really great!!!

Oh Shelby, maybe I have it mixed up as to what the JW's believe as far as Christ returning. I was not asking the question as to what I believe but as to what they believe. They think Armageddon is coming before the 1000 years and right after the tribulation right? I don't think that.

I obviously I did not make myself clear because I am not clear on their beliefs anymore. I thought that they thought that Christ has already returned invisibly in 1914? Am I mixed up. I know Christ has not returned and that he will return visibly.

Oh, sorry, dear Zoe (peace, luv!). Yeah, they believe he "arrived" in 1914... which was one of the issues that got me escorted out ("If that's so, brother, then how many 'arrivals' does he have and why are folks still partaking???"). Truth be told, I think that very question is how they came up with the whole "other sheep/great crowd/ya'll don't eat" malarkey: SOMEBODY had to stop partaking if Christ had already arrived... right? LOLOLOLOL!

And cheers to dear Tams (peace to you, as well, chile'!)... for going along with the Spirit and sitting down front were you were "led" (LOL!)... and then eating/drinking right in front of that "brother" (he couldn't have missed it if he'd wanted to!)... how dare you, you 'worldly person' you? LOLOLOL!).

I think one of the best things that came out of this year's event (although, perhaps not for some - we haven't heard from everyone) is that a LOT of the fear that some had still been experiencing is gone - praise JAH! They all seem a bit bored with us, too, these days - LOLOLOLOL!

Peace to you, all!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shel
