AWwww Zoe,

Such sweet pictures and memories. I am so sorry for your sadness. I can't even imagine how it feels to make that decision even when you feel it is for the best reason....to be free from pain and suffering!

May you find comfort in the sweet memories and unconditional love our pets show us.

Thank you for such sweet pictures,

Love your sister in Christ,
Kim

I'm sorry about your puppy, Zoe. They bring a lot of love for the time we have them. Thank you for sharing the pictures of Taz.

Peace and love to you.

Thank you for the messages and listening to me express my sadness. I have rarely experienced the death of a pet before and never made the decision to do it ever. It had to be done but the guilt and grief was more than I expected. He is dearly missed already, I keep doing things by habit like wanting to feed him at 5 PM and miss him always laying by my feet and me having to be careful not to step on him.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

You did it out of love, Zoe, to stop his suffering. I had to put our dog down once too, and she was still very young, so I understand the feelings of guilt. But let that go; you made your decision out of love for Taz.

Love and peace to you, dear Zoe, and to your loved ones,
your sister and servant, and slave of Christ,
tammy

Yes I agree with Tammy, you acted out of love for your pup Zoe. Was kindness that motivated you. Don't take on unnecessary guilt sister. Still sad though, I know.

Peace to you both

Loz x

Yes we did love that doggy so much!! It broke our hearts seeing him suffering so we made the decision to have him put to sleep. He didn't suffer when that was done. I didn't go to the vet for the good bye because I am in a wheelchair and it was just too much for John to struggle with me and the dog. The dog could barely walk and he couldn't get in and out of our van anymore. I feel guilty about that but at least John was there holding him and petting him when he passed.
The Vet had a thick comforter put on the floor for Taz to lay on and John got down on the floor with him, Taz cuddled up to him and the last thing he saw and heard was his Daddy's voice and eyes looking at him. It was so sad but done with dignity and calm. They had classical music playing and some candles in the room.

We are here, dear Zoe (peace to you, dear sister!). We here leave Friday and arrive Saturday morning.

I am SO sad for your dear pup. I know they are like (our) children so my heart breaks for you. I don't know how I'm going to take it when the first of my four (need to be helped to) go (to sleep in death).

I wish you the greatest of love... AND peace... as Christ grants both... you move forward.

Your servant and a slave of Christ,

Shel

Bon Voyage Girls, have a wonderful adventure.!!

Thanks for your post Shelby, I appreciate it. I am still crying about my doggy at some points in the day when something reminds me of him. We got a letter yesterday from The University of Guelph which is a Veterinary College here in Ontario Canada. It was to say they were sorry for the loss of our pet and that our Vet made a donation to them in the name and memory of our dog. We didn't know that they did that. also the Vet's office called and said they made an impression of our dogs paw in a clay tablet and it was there for us as a gift. Taz our dog has been gone for 10 days already. We will never forget him.

Wonderful to hear you are all safe and enjoying your time together. I texted Tammy yesterday and she said you are all fine and staying in a flat. I imagined you staying in a hotel?
Hugs

Zoe,

It is a house with 4 bedrooms/ 4 baths and a full kitchen. Very lovely and roomy. Looks a like like our place we stayed in in Egypt.

Talk soon,
Peace and love to you
Kim
