Mr. Flanagan was a former model and body builder. His issues were more about his physical appearance than anything else. Perhaps his colleagues were racists. Who knows? Doesn't validate killing them. And certainly doesn't dismiss the racism I am sure Mr. Flanagan ran into in the WTBTS. Heck, there are even racist (against black people)
black people in the WTBTS, it's so full of bigots. So running into it among his "worldly" co-workers shouldn't have tripped him up THAT much.
His former employer(s) and co-workers, however, report he had severe anger issues and that is what led to his dismissal(s).
So, now, let's look at the "math": former model and body builder... plus anger issues... equals... what? Rage. Brought on by... what, in the body building industry? Anabolic steroids. And what are some of the side effects of anabolic steroids? Let's see:

Unfortunately, DUE to racism, no one's going to bother to find out how much and what kind of steroids Mr. Flanagan had in his system. Nope. They're going to chalk it up to another act of irrational black on white violence (constrastly, white on black violence is ALWAYS rational, and so justified, right, even when it's a vigilante putz who was TOLD to step down by police but CHOSE to shoot and kill a black teenager anyway).
It wasn't the guns that killed those two poor people. And it wasn't "Jehovah" OR the WTBTS. Those are just the only entities that Mr. Flanagan and, unfortunately, dear Tom, can look to/blame to make sense of what he (Flanagan) was going to/did.
It was Mr. Flanagan's anger... and the pharmaceutical company that exploited... and so made and sold the steroids that exacerbated... Mr. Flanagan's anger... that killed those poor people.
Just sayin'...
Now, would I have loved to blame the WTBTS? Maybe. But that would not be fair... because it would not be TRUE.
