OMG! The GB is admitting that those scattered sheep are the INACTIVE WITNESSES! Not just people of the world.

He quotes Ezekiel 34:11, 12 “I myself will search for my sheep, says Jehovah, and I will care for them. I will care for my sheep like a shepherd who has found his scattered sheep and is feeding them. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered.”

I notice this is now worded differently than my NWT.

They need to take a look at that whole chapter – it is a prophecy against the bad shepherds of Israel.

Ezekiel 34
And the word of Jehovah continued to occur to me, saying: “son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy, and you must say to them, to the shepherds, “This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said: “Woe to the shepherds of Israel, who have become feeders of themselves!” Is it not the flock that the shepherds ought to feed? The fat is what you eat, and with the wool you clothe your own selves. The plump animal is what you slaughter.

The flock itself you do not feed. And they were gradually scattered because of there being no shepherd, so that they became food for every wild beast of the field, and they continued to be scattered. It just goes on and on in that chapter.
The sheep do not return to those bad shepherds.

23. And I will raise up over them one shepherd, and he must feed them, even my servant, David. He himself will feed them, and he himself will become their shepherd.

Ataloa, yes, that stands as a witness against them. Good call. If the lost sheep are inactive witnesses... then THEIR (former) shepherds are the ones being talked about in the prophecy: the GB, elders, etc.

They speak a lot of stuff against themselves without realizing it.


For instance, they admit that their king is the angel of the abyss, whose name is Abaddon or Apollyon (death/destruction). They think that Abaddon/Apollyon is "Jesus", sure, but come ON!

Christ is the LIFE.

He is not the destroyer, He is not death.

He is the LIFE.


So yes, as JM said above, may God have mercy on them, and if they wish them, may their eyes be opened, and may they be given ears to HEAR the TRUTH, who is CHRIST, who is the LIFE!

About to leave work and haven't read this all (but I will - peace to you, all!), and wanted to address:



They entire miss the POINT... what JAH is SAYING. He is NOT saying that He will search for His sheep through some GB-Wanna-Be-FDS and its minions. He is SAYING... that HE will search for His sheep. He HIMSELF. That HE will care for them. HE will rescue them. He WILL... and He only uses ONE Person to do that: His Son, the HOLY One of Israel and HOLY Spirit, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJAH). He has not sent ME to search for His sheep - He has sent CHRIST.

How, though, does CHRIST "search" for those sheep? Two (2) ways:

1. "... the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice."

2. "... whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’"

I can only tell folks ABOUT him; I can't make them listen, come to, or obey him. None of us can. In TELLING folks, I am only demonstrating MY faith. Obeying him on MY behalf, and that of my own household Not dictating as to THEIR faith, or THEIR place with him. Which is why I TRY to let folks that it doesn't MATTER... to ME... whether they listen to ME or not.

I can't "make disciples," per se. NONE of us can. ALL we can do is LIVE what he is teaching us and so by our EXAMPLE, others want to KNOW about him... about the One who is calling THEM, too... and then HE chooses them (John 15:16). When we "search out those deserving," we are not going to people's doors with some smarmy message about "Jeezus loves you!" or "Jeehovah loves you!". We go... "from city to city" and as we go those who are "deserving" are those who treat us... and treat EVERYONE... as they would a "brother." They don't treat us well because we ARE Christ's brothers; they treat us well... because they treat EVERYONE well, INCLUDING Christ's brothers, whom they don't even know is among them! Matthew 25:37-39; Hebrews 13:2; Genesis 18:2-8, 19:2, 3
