Good Morning everyone
It was a gorgeous day here yesterday, we sat outside and did stuff in the yard yesterday. It was 75 degrees, OMG did we appreciate that. We had a BBQ and ate it on the deck on our patio table, what a treat and boy did I sleep. I have done no yard work in about 7 years due to me not being able to walk properly or to bend down or kneel but yesterday I had such spring fever that I got on my scooter and parked it beside a big cedar bush in the back yard and started clipping it so it wouldn't look so straggly. Now its all even and round and I was so proud of myself being able to do something like that. Crazy I know but when you are crippled up like I am things like that are quite a challenge.

Thanks Shelby and Tec for your Hello's back at me. I love you both.

Anthony congratulations on the publication of your book Happiness, it was really well written and a pleasure to read.

Have a great day everyone even though its Monday.

Hi Zoe; I'm so glad you had a great day. I know what you mean about feeling great for accomplishing something that seems small. As my body gets stiffer all the time, I have had to learn not to feel bad for my work going so slowly. I saw myself on our security camera the other day, and I could not believe that was me moving SO slowly. But I am grateful that I am still ambulatory (ambulatory - I learned that word at the sale barn) so far, and I do appreciate the abilities I have left, as I know you do too. I trimmed some bushes a little yesterday also, but now I can't do it without thinking of their blood (sap) lol.

LOL Ataloa (about the tree/sap/blood).

Zoe, I'm glad you had a good day doing work you enjoy doing. I don't think it matters how 'big' or 'small' (by man's standards) that a project or job is; completing it, and completing it well, feels good. Love you too.

I had a night. LOL. Never heard that expression for that before ; ) Keep us posted on when your book comes out. I am looking forward to picking it up and reading it.

We're going to see Mad Max Fury Road tomorrow night at the VIP theater. (comfy reserved seats, servers who bring your food and drink to you - including cooked food... but really, i am just gonna want popcorn, lol. Plus you can order drink drinks, and even though I almost never drink, because I am allowed to have one here, I feel like I might have a totally girlie slushie drink to go with my popcorn!)

Okay i have no idea what this theater is going to be like, but hubby and I have wanted to try it as a treat for a long time now, so finally we are going.

Oh, and I suppose I am excited to see that movie too ; )

On a side note, I saw Interstellar a couple of weeks ago, and that was quite good. I was enthralled, and I have not seen many movies lately that hold me like that one. The things portrayed in this movie... very interesting, considering some things we have learned... and I wont' say more than that because i don't want to give anything away. But the movie is definitely worth the watch.

Peace to you all,
your servant, and sister, and fellow slave of Christ,
tammy

Well, it was an action movie. I enjoyed it. There is not much more to say about it than that, lol.

Peace!

SOOooooo, not gonna tell us how the VIP theater experience went, eh, dear tec (peace, luv!)?

Not sure that's fair, girl. I mean, building us all up and everything. C'mon, tell us: where there girls in tight clothing walking around with little trays hanging from their necks, whispering "Cigars, cigarettes, Tiparillos"? Or was it more of a "Get yer hot dogs, cotton candy, beer, and hurricane cocktails here!" kind of a thing?

Inquiring minds wanna know, chile'. Well, some of them wanna.

Peace to you!

Shel, on her own...

Sorry, lol....

So...

The servers were great. So friendly and attentive. We had a guy... no tight little clothing sorry, lol... and he took our drink (and I did have a drink) and food order. I had chili cheese fries - yum; hubby had cheese/meat/fruit/cracker plates. His was better than mine. They had burgers and meals and stuff too, but we had enough, especially since I got popcorn too.

So the servers all have tablet thingies where they take and send your orders, and they carry debit machines to take your payment on the spot. Then the same server or another server brings out your drinks and food as it is ready, before the start of the movie.

So yeah, we both thought it was great. Fun experience, to be served at the movie theater and have such a variety of food to eat, including dinner food.

Next time we will buy tickets right in the front row, because those seats are actually lazy boys that recline all the way back, so you can be lying back looking up at the screen. I thought sitting that close might be too much for a 3D movie, but the screen is a bit smaller (you don't notice because the room is a bit smaller too, so it is all still in proportion), and if you get to lay back like that, then it might be a pretty cool experience. So... next time for that.

Peace!

Your Movie experience sounds wonderful Tec. I went to one of those VIP theatres in Toronto a few times and thoroughly enjoyed it though they didn't have the tablets and portable debit machines then. So was the movie worth seeing?

Just wanted to check in and tell everybody hello and wish you all peace this day.

I've not been around much. I know it's been quiet. Been busy with some family stuff and a friend of mine has been dealing with some life threatening health issues and her son who is 25 that has flown out here from Kentucky has needed some support with this. Been hanging around the hospital a lot the last couple weeks. Not been fun! But have really gotten to know her son. He is a real sweetie!
Just a tad bit of spiritual conversation but he has truly appreciated the visits and support.

So all is great other than that! Just wanted to weigh in LOL! Hope everyone else is doing well.

May Jahs love, peace, strength and comfort be upon all of you and your households,
Your sister and fellow servant of our Lord Jaheshua MischaJah, Kim

Peace to you too Kim!

I was thinking about doing a check-in post today also, and seeing how everyone is... but you are the one who did it. I had family down last weekend, hubby got him this week, we have one of his oldest friends that he has not seen in years coming to stay with us for a couple of weeks. So... we'll see how that goes, lol.

I hope that your friend does better, Justmom.

I know it has been quiet around here, but sometimes that is how it goes. We have all had a lot to chew on, mull over in the past months. I am usually here every day at least at some point. So of course, just because it is quiet, please feel free to share or ask or discuss anything at all. I do hope that everyone is doing well.

Love to you, and to you all, and may you have peace,
your sister and servant, and fellow slave of Christ,
tammy

Hi everyone - I should post more here too and miss our regular conversations here and all of you. I hope everyone is well.

I am not to bad lately but I am having trouble seeing lately which is a disaster for me as I can't walk or do much as it is. So I am spending way less time on the computer as it hurts my eyes. I have bad cataracts and I find out Tuesday when I can get them fixed, lets hope soon.
