Just wanted to apologize for my lack of input recently and touch base with everyone. I've been very busy after my holiday (which was lovely by the way). Crete is beautiful and the Cretan people are kind and hospitable.

Supply teaching work isn't easy, so I'm starting my own business which is demanding a lot of time and effort. I haven't forgotten you all, and indeed pray for you all daily. Just sorry that I've not been inputting much lately even though I try to catch up on threads most days.

Love and peace to all

Loz x

Hi Flipper! Glad you're here.

Kudos the congrats re the business, dear Loz (peace to you, dear sister!)... and NO worries about the absences. We ALL have them, from time to time. Praise JAH... this isn't the WTBTS... where one's "spirituality" is based on (meeting) attendance... versus receipt of holy spirit... and manifestation of its fruit - LOLOLOL!

But I have to admit, dear sister, I AM getting "concerned"... because your magazine placements have declined....

LOLOLOL!

Don't you worry, dear Loz - we all know one another's situation, for the most part, and know that life "happens." Just keep listening to and talking with the Master... and share what you can when you can. To JAH and Christ, one mina has the same value as ten when you "spend" it.

Take care and peace to you, dear, dear sister!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shel

Good Morning everyone!! It is our Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend so we are having a long and very nice weekend.

Congratulations Loz, your life seems to be going very well, always on a upward path. I am truly happy for you and you deserve it.

We went out to a really nice restaurant last night for supper to celebrate our birthdays as mine was on Thursday and his will be on Tuesday. It was AWESOME!! The service and ambiance was perfect. I have not been to a nice restaurant in about 6 years and this was a steakhouse so we had steak. I don't know how to cook steak very well so I don't bother at home. I had filet mignon and mine was so tender and juicy it almost melted in my mouth. John had the New York steak which was tasty but not quite as tender. Plus we had twice baked potato, Ceaser salad, warm sour dough bread and a huge piece of complimentary (because it was our birthdays) mud pie ice-cream cake for dessert. I rarely eat that much all at once so it was a Wonderful treat. YUM!! On days like this I am glad I am not a vegetarian LOL

This is the restaurant - The Keg

Zoe your dinner sounded so yummy. Glad it was a memorable experience for you both.

Just checking in. This coming weekend we are visiting one of my daughters, son in law, and granddaughters. A wonderful joy. My daughter is virtually out of the WTBS now, thankfully. Her hubby, though disillusioned, is still in. A lovely guy who appears to like me and hubby despite my being disfellowshipped. I have a feeling...(or maybe CHRIST is preparing me) that there will be a conversation between him and I... I know we have to trust that the 'words will be given us' when we preach the kingdom...but still, I am anxious. If anyone has any tips/advice, I will be glad of it. I don't want to come across as a hysterical mum in law. Or someone bitter and angry with the organisation, not that I'm not, but I doubt it would help him. It feels scary that I could say the wrong things.

Love and peace to all,

Loz x

Ps I have only met her new hubby twice, so, early days really.

Loz:

Philippians 4:6 and 7:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in [the Anointed Jaheshua].

All the best.

Hi Loz!

Just ask for the words, the words that CHRIST gives you. I mean, I can't think of any other advice better than that. Have faith in and listen to Christ, that He will give you the words if and/or when the time comes, and don't worry or be afraid.

So happy for you about your daughter, granddaughters and also your son in law.

Peace and love to you and to them,
your sister and servant, and fellow slave of Christ,
tammy

Hello LOZ,

Nothing much to add except these couple verses as well when it comes to making a defense or in sharing CHRIST...

Luke 21:14-15

" Therefore settle in your hearts not to rehearse beforehand how to make your defense. For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your opposers together will not be able to resist or dispute."

Can't think of anyone better than our Lord to speak for you! Have a great visit and may JAH grant you the words to share whatever the subject that is discussed.

Love and peace to you, your sister and fellow slave of CHRIST, Kim

First, HAPPY Canadian Thanksgiving, dear Zoe! Peace to you, luv... and have no idea how I missed your post a couple weeks ago! SO sorry about that!

I would only add that, in addition to what the others have shared with you, dear Loz (peace to you, dear sister!)... if you stick to... and with... the TRUTH... albeit with LOVE... you can't go wrong. Even if the one you're speaking with doesn't want to HEAR the truth I can assure you that you'd much rather have them reject you/what you're sharing because it IS truth... versus that it is false/a lie (in which case, they SHOULD reject it/you!).

I have NO doubt that our dear Lord WILL be speaking with you and giving you what to say; I also know that even then, some can't grasp his words. Could be that anxiety. In which case, if you stick to the truth regarding JAH, Christ, what's in the Bible, Paul... and the WTBTS... who can be against you? Christ is the Truth... and the image and representation of God. Which means God is ALSO Truth. If, then, GOD... and so TRUTH... i.e., Christ... is FOR you... who can be AGAINST you?

Also, when you stick to the truth... you don't have to cover over, "fix", or state further falsehoods... to cover over what you said - LOLOL! You know, like what the "generation of 1914" means NOW! LOLOLOLOL!

OH! And also... do not be afraid to say you DON'T know... but know someone who DOES: Christ. And then [let the person know you will and so DO]... ask HIM. Just ask in faith... and then PUT faith in what you hear FROM him.

Bottom line:

"Trust in JAH (and so, in His SON!)... with ALL your heart. In ALL your ways (and WORDS) take notice of HIM (which means obeying Him and so taking notice of/kissing His SON)... and HE (THROUGH His Son) will make your path (and so, your WORDS) straight."

Peace... as our dear Lord gives it... and a calm heart as you meet with your dear family, dear lady!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shel

Good Morning everyone
I missed that Loz posted, sorry Loz. So happy for you that you are going to get to visit your daughter and her family. I am sure that you will do fine with talking to the son-in-law, just show you care along with your love and kindness and it will all work out from there.
Hugs from Zoe

Good Morning everyone. Happy Sunday

One of the girls from Calgary I play werewolf game with on another forum posted some pictures of how the JW's are posting meme's on Pinterest and selling jw.org trinkets over on Etsy. Crazy times.

Here is a meme about the Silver Sword bible. This gal needs a manicure LOL
