First, HAPPY Canadian Thanksgiving, dear Zoe! Peace to you, luv... and have no idea how I missed your post a couple weeks ago! SO sorry about that!

If anyone has any tips/advice, I will be glad of it. I don't want to come across as a hysterical mum in law. Or someone bitter and angry with the organisation, not that I'm not, but I doubt it would help him. It feels scary that I could say the wrong things.
I would only add that, in addition to what the others have shared with you, dear Loz (peace to you, dear sister!)... if you stick to... and with... the TRUTH... albeit with LOVE... you can't go wrong. Even if the one you're speaking with doesn't want to HEAR the truth I can assure you that you'd much rather have them reject you/what you're sharing because it IS truth... versus that it is false/a lie (in which case, they SHOULD reject it/you!).
I have NO doubt that our dear Lord WILL be speaking with you and giving you what to say; I also know that even then, some can't grasp his words. Could be that anxiety. In which case, if you stick to the truth regarding JAH, Christ, what's in the Bible, Paul... and the WTBTS... who can be against you? Christ is the Truth... and the image and representation of God. Which means God is ALSO Truth. If, then, GOD... and so TRUTH... i.e., Christ... is FOR you... who can be AGAINST you?
Also, when you stick to the truth... you don't have to cover over, "fix", or state further falsehoods... to cover over what you said - LOLOL! You know, like what the "generation of 1914" means NOW! LOLOLOLOL!
OH! And also... do not be afraid to say you DON'T know... but know someone who DOES: Christ. And then [let the person know you will and so DO]... ask HIM. Just ask in faith... and then PUT faith in what you hear FROM him.
Bottom line:
"Trust in JAH (and so, in His SON!)...
with ALL your heart. In ALL your ways (and WORDS)
take notice of HIM (which means obeying Him and so taking notice of/kissing His SON)...
and HE (THROUGH His Son)
will make your path (and so, your WORDS)
straight."Peace... as our dear Lord gives it... and a calm heart as you meet with your dear family, dear lady!
YSSFS of Christ,
Shel
