That was exactly my point, dear Sher'f (peace to you, luv!). And I sometimes spell stupid with a "W"... or even a "J" and a "W", my dear. I mean, you can only blame so much on ignorance... or "the Devil." At some point one has to be accountable for one's stupidity... if one had a CHANCE to learn better/the truth. If one CHOOSES to stay ignorant, though, that really is stupid.
The MOST HOLY One of Israel, JAH of Armies, does NOT want man to be a species of ignorant drones. If He wanted THAT, He could have made the ANGELS in that form. He didn't. He gave THEM free-will, too. Even free-will to question Him, which is NOT a sin. How can we know that questioning the Sovereign of the universe is NOT a sin, not even a bad thing? We can KNOW because:
Abraham did it
Jacob (Israel) did it
Moses did it
Job did it
The Adversary did it
Jonah did it
The disciples of Christ, who is the Son and IMAGE of God... did it. MANY times.
And those are just the ones we KNOW about. Surely others did it. And if you count the examples of the Adversary and the disciples, they didn't always do it with the utmost respect!
If, then, the MOST HOLY One of Israel and HOLY One of Israel/Holy Spirit have no problem being questioned, WHY the fear of questioning ANYONE... INCLUDING the "leaders" of the WTBTS???
Yet, die-hard JWs will not question them... even as to THIS melarkey. Won't even say, "Hey, wait a minute, now - didn't ya'll say the Internet was BAD? That television was BAD? That the time one spent on these activities is better spent in FS and at meetings, etc.? When, then, would any of us have TIME to browse JW.org... or WATCH JW.org? And aren't we now HYPOCRITES for telling others to do so... when for SO long we JUDGED others for doing so?"
They WON'T ask, though, because, as you said, they are stupid. BLINDLY stupid... and STUPIDLY blind.
Ah, well... what can you do? As dear 'Mom (peace, m'luv!) stated, they LOVE it. Love BEING blind AND love BEING stupid. Goodness, when I recall some of the (usual) things the man who visited Saturday said... and how inside I was screaming, "But that's so STUPID! How can you BELIEVE that??!"...
