Sorry, busy weekend for me and dear hubby, dear ones ( mornin ' and peace to you! ). Daughter's birthday and spent both days with different factions of family. Hope everyone is well?

I have another contract coming up (praise JAH!). It starts on the 24th and the initial period is 6 months (and renews after that if they like my work, so we'll see - whatever JAH will cause His work comes first!). I'm also taking three real estate classes (want to get a broker's license)... so I might be "absent" here on occasion. Not too much but just a heads up.

Put please... YA'LL keep adding YOUR voices here!

Quiet yes, between us being out of town ( out of state actually) last weekend and then visiting my daughter-in-law who was traveling for business on the west coast and seen her....then Shelby's daughter had an Album release party Saturday along with her birthday....then I stayed in San Francisco with my middle son who recently moved there and spent all day yesterday with him and friends,.....
YES, it's been a busy but WONDERFUL week and weekend.
Between wonderful spiritual conversations and just having fun.....it's been GREAT!!!

Having to focus on "life" the past week or so so my apologies for being "absent" (nuthin' wrong; just a lot of stuff to handle: human kids business, doctor appts., studying for class, class, work projects, etc.). I'm actually here, though, and have been reading, checking threads, etc.

I've been busy setting up a new business venture, and 3 birthdays over the past week too, so life has been getting in the way. I do check in to read every day usually though. We are off on holiday to Crete on Saturday so probs won't be so easy to pop in. I am really looking forward to the break.

Just catching up myself. My poor old small town area I came from are experiencing huge fires and much loss in the way of homes and " stuff". So sad, but nothing that can't be replaced. All are safe and that's the important thing. But it's been a disaster for our area!

I always loved fall as the days were still warm and sunny but the nights cool and crisp (wonderful to sleep with when your having hot flashes LOL)

Its is a beautiful Fall day here, going up to 70 degrees. No humidity and the trees are starting to turn. A tree in my front yard has gone bright red.

FALL, yes, dear 'Mom (peace, luv!)... one of my favorites, too! I love the whole feel of this season... from "back to school", to "harvest/earthy", to the "start of the holidays" with Hallowe'en (although I don't really get into Hallowe'en - personal preference, dear ones, nothing else - we've posted about that. But I love the "feel" of this season "on my skin", if you can understand that - LOLOL!).

Also at this "stage" in life, cool nights feel like a blessing (I will probably still need the fan on, though - LOLOL!). I just started taking a new (nerve suppression) medication, though, that got me through the night... AND I didn't wake up GROGGY (big smiley face here)! BUT... I woke up... BLIND (tearful smiley face here)! LOLOLOL! Yep, one of the side effects is "blurred vision"... and they weren't kidding! Couldn't see a THING for about an hour - LOLOLOL! It's worn off, so I'm good (and before Lasik I was blind as a bat, so I could cope - it was like waking up (very) near-sighted and no glasses!). But man, seems like a girl just can't catch a break: sight but no sleep... sleep but no sight... LOLOL! The physical vessel... DAMN that Adham! LOLOL!

But the vision is returning (almost full back) and that's good... 'cause I got a project that starts tomorrow. It's will last about 6 months, luvs, so I might be absent from time to time ('cause I'm also taking 3 RE classes, right now). But I will be here, checking in, even if I don't post. Not that anyone cares (or SHOULD care)... but just a heads up, in case anyone gets "curious."

I also love the fall, Zoe and JM. I think it must be my favorite time of year. (although really, I get bored, so I am glad to experience all four seasons- well, 3, since we never get more than a couple weeks of spring) But yeah, fall is my favorite... not too hot, not too cold... just right ; )


We've had a couple of days of hot summer these past couple days, mind you. But the cooler air is coming up, thankfully!


I spent the whole day shopping for my comic-con outfit. I hated it, couldn't find anything... and then... it all came together at the last place. (obviously, lol) So now I am excited to go. I won't be around much for the next week or so. Family coming and comic-con. Family coming FOR comic con ; )


Shelby, so glad you got to sleep through the night and didn't wake up groggy... but sorry about the blindness. What an odd side-effect, though I guess the nerves in the eyes could be affected by a nerve suppression medication.

OMG, this struck me hilarious. I'm sorry truly for the reaction to the nerve meds but this just sounded so funny. It's always something huh?
