Thank you everyone. Coming here marked a big turning point for me in my grief and helped me so much to persevere in love, so I really do mean thank you to all of you who contribute here.

Loz, that is SO wonderful to hear!

I really don't worry or fear anymore. Things WE can't ever see happening, or that we fear will never happen... just KEEP happening. And our Lord DOES see and DOES know; we just have to put our faith in Him, follow HIm, listen to Him.

Plus, these things can happen so fast, and so much can be turned around in just one moment of understanding, acceptance, realization, love, faith. Long-suffering, yes, indeed... a great fruit to ask for if needed!

Peace to you,
your sister and servant, and fellow slave of Christ,
tammy

Good Morning and happy Sunday everyone.

I am happy, I have my daughter and her man here this weekend with my little grandson Joshua. I haven't seen them in a year. We had a great visit yesterday and more to come today. It poured rain all day and night here yesterday so we were stuck inside but today seems to have potential for some outside living. It's nice to have people around. I haven't had company since Christmas.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning it's a beautiful gorgeous day here now that it's Monday morning lol

I had company all weekend and one was a 5 year old. It rained, was cold and gloomy so we had to stay inside. Finally cleared up last night so we had dinner and a BBQ on the deck, then a really nice campfire. Today my daughter and her family are off to a campground for the rest of the week.

I had so much fun hearing my grandson play and talk to me. The things he says, children say such cute things. He absolutely loves my dog, he didn't want to do anything without the dog with us. He is vey good with the dog, very gentle with him, whispers and talks with him quietly for hours. The dog just looks at him calmly. He is about 1/3 the size of the dog but he gets down on the floor and lays down beside him. Last night he wouldn't go to sleep without the dog laying next to him. He knows his Mom is having a new baby but he says he wants a dog instead lol.

If mom can handle it (along with a new baby), dear 'Zoe (peace to you, luv!)... maybe a dog (not necessarily a puppy, though, since mom will have her hands full - so maybe a rescue Lab, Rhodesian Ridgeback, mix... but docile (FEMALE!) pooch) would be a good "consolation/distraction prize" for dear Jah'shua (sorry, can't help myself! LOLOLOL!)? You could "sell" it to mom as it would make a good companion/distraction for the boy, as well as teach him some responsibility... as well as provide some protection for the household.

If your dear grandson is the dog-lover he seems to be, he would love and never forget you for such a gift, I promise you! Just a thought, of course.

Peace to you and your dear family!

Shellamar, on her own...

Zoe, that sounds like a wonderful visit... and I loved that comment from your little grandson - he'd rather have a dog than a baby ; ) Cute.

I love watching and listening to kids. They're so honest, you never know what they're going to say!

I need to respond to this, dear Loz (mornin' and the greatest of love and peace to you, dear sister!). Leaving the WTBTS can be a very lonely process/thing... the resultant feelings of which can last for years. So can be no different if you're in the process, just left, or left some time ago. Thinking that there is "no one" outside who "understands" you can make it even more difficult. Many... and these days, most... who leave... also leave God (and Christ) altogether. Not all do, of course, but of those who do not, many... most... simply return/go on to another religion. Right back into the mindtrap - same trap... different "trappings," is all.

Some left because (or later came to realize that) God and Christ had absolutely nothing to do with that organization, but that didn't affect THEIR belief that God and Christ EXIST... OR their love for these. Yet, they did not want to join yet ANOTHER religion. If the truth be told, MOST who leave have this... but since they don't now "where" else to GO... conclude there is no where else and so there is no God/Christ.

Like some of us, you, dear sister... came to know that there is no "where", but only a "Whom." Praise JAH.

And so that is why "here" is such a joy for some of us: we KNOW there is no where... and HERE is not a "where"... but we are HERE... FOR a Whom. A Whom we all are seeking individually... and as members of a group. It is our responsibility and PRIVILEGE to BE a joy... and bring joy... to the lives of whoever we can of those leaving that harlot. As dear Lazarus wrote (to the Hebrews), WE:

"... have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, (Christ... and, of Israel, those who take part in the FIRST resurrection) whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, to [Jesus] the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel."

We have been granted an APPROACH... that many don't have. NOT because it is not permitted to them, but because they either don't seek it... or want it.

When we have gotten FULLY out, however, and are NOT just hanging outside her "walls"... but have FLED... TO the "mountain" we realize SO much joy... because it is joy that is not only the "fruit" of God's holy spirit... but that which comes with TRUE freedom! TRUE freedom... because it is the portion of those who are the sons of God. Which freedom... true freedom... comes from only ONE Source: Christ.

That One said:

"I... am the... Truth" (John 14:6

He ALSO said, to the Jews who had believed him:

“If you hold to MY teaching, you are really my disciples. THEN you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

The Jews didn't understand him, though, as many don't today. Today, many not only misunderstand what he said, but misquote what he said, stating instead, things like "Tell the truth and the truth shall set/make you free!" Or similar. The Jews, not understanding him, said:

“We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?

Which is totally bunk. Because they absolutely had been slaves: to Egypt, Assyria, and Babylon. Now, they were facing slavery to Rome (who ALWAYS took slaves of those they conquered). Because they didn't understand their error in understanding THERE, though, that they had INDEED been slaves, they also didn't understand what our dear Lord MEANT: Not that they would be free from MEN (although, that potential existed)... but TRULY free... EVEN from the "slavery" put upon them by their own FLESH. Hence, he replied to them:

“Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. If, though, the SON sets you free, you will be TRULY free."

That joy, then, dear Loz... is part of that freedom that you now feel... are experiencing. You are no longer "burdened"... especially with things over which you (now realize) you have NO CONTROL. You let go, luv... and let God, the MOST HOLY ONE of Israel, JAH of Armies... and HE freed you... TRULY... through Christ, His Son, the HOLY One of Israel and Holy Spirit, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJah).

Once freed, it is up to each one of us who have BEEN freed... to STAY free! Nothing worse than being freed... with much bloodshed!... only to go back and enslave oneSELF, again. Unless, of course, that enslavement is to the one who FREED you. In which case, it is entirely appropriate - there is no inappropriateness to giving oneself... as a servant/slave... to one who gave THEM freedom... and life. It is the LEAST such one can do.

I am VERY happy for you, dear sister... truly.

May the undeserved kindness and mercy of our God and Father, the MOST HOLY One of Israel, JAH of Armies, and the love and mercy of His Son... our Lord, Master, King... and savior... the HOLY One of Israel and Holy Spirit, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJah)... be upon you... and your entire household... to time indefinite, dear, dear lady!

Peace to you!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shel

Joshua yesterday on my back deck drawing a frog for me. They just left at 1 PM today to go to the trailer park for the rest of the week. Taz (the dog) is exhausted LOL, Joshua was in his face constantly, singing to him and talking to him and petting him.

Here is Joshua.

Yes Shelby, the freedom brings superlative joy. Thank you for your post. My almost teen grand daughter spoke to me at weekend during visit about leaving the WTBS, she is desperate I think to 'feel' free. I tried to reassure and help her and told her where my faith lies now, we will have much more contact privately and I really hope to help her to freedom too. I wish it was something we could just hand out to folks who are in turmoil. We all though have to find our own way to Christ, together with help from the bride. (Sometimes that feels such a huge responsibility!)

Peace to you sister
Loz x

Ps lovely pic there Zoe, grandson looks such a cutie!

It DOES, dear, dear Loz (peace to you!)... but that's because it IS... as to whom much is GIVEN... much is expected/called for... yes? But think of it, my dear sister: king-priests in the kingdom of the MOST HOLY One of Israel, WITH His precious SON! We expect a lot from HUMAN rulers, yes? How MUCH more, then, should be expected of US? But that's WHY we need training... and not just ANY training but that which can only come from THE King himself! Who trained HIM? No one, other than the Father. Who, then, should train US? No one but the One Whom came forth FROM the Father... and to Whom the Father has given ALL of His belongings (which the following should PROVE, to those who otherwise can't hear/receive it from HIM and so NEED it proven to them "in writing"... that Christ IS the "Faithful and Discreet Slave" whom the Master/Householder, the MOST HOLY One of Israel, JAH of Armies.... appointed over ALL His belongings, which belongings... "domestics"... people of the "house" WE are):

"... he looked toward heaven and prayed:

“Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and [Jesus] Christ, whom you have sent. I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.

“I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them.

They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.

All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you.

We are a part of that, dear one, to the extent we are in UNION with Christ, JOINED to him... by blood, breath, and seed. As part of HIM, we do have a great responsibility. NOT that we must give our lives, at least, not in the way he did... but give of ourselves, yes. And it can be difficult at times, MOST times, even... yes. But we have SO many examples, including his, do we not? So great a cloud of "witnesses"... all of whom endured what we must, sometimes much more? And all for the glory that was set before them?

So when it does seem like a lot of responsibility, we can remember that it IS... yes... but the reward far, far outweighs the... ummmmm... inconveniences?... that we might have to undergo for a little while.

Praise JAH... we have this "city" to find refuge in, even if only a little bit and even if only for a little while.

I hope that helps and, as always,

PEACE to you, the way our dear Lord gives it... along with more, as much as you need, of HIS joy!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shel
