Took the wife and kids to see Maleficent last Friday and they loved it.
They said it was one of the bets movies they ever saw.
Angelina Jolie was perfect for the part.
The story is NOT what you may think it is.

What got my attention though was what she looked like ( a tad on the naughty and hot side I don't mind saying...).

You mean the wings and horns, dear P (peace to you, luv!)? Smile... yeah. Although, there shouldn't'a been feathers on them wings! LOLOLOL! More like bat wings. Sure, there are flesh-eating birds (which is why modern translations refer to "eagles", etc.), but then, there are some flesh-eating bats, too. Interesting how "they" assumed that the only flying, flesh-eating "things" ARE birds.

We LOVED the movie... and her depiction. What I loved most, though, was the message:

1. One doesn't necessarily "fall" just because of their own heart, but due to the pain of betrayal, become their pain;
2. Romantic love is not necessarily TRUE love;
3. Nor is love between opposite sexes;
4. Nor is true love limited to blood... or "friends"; and
5. It CAN be between those who some might consider/think should be enemies

GREAT story, GREAT movie, GREAT scenery/graphics! Oh, and did you get the "good" dragon??! LOLOLOL!

I really admire her choice in doing this film... and how it was done. REALLY good. Gonna see it again, actually... and from better seats (we arrived just after the trailers, unfortunately, and so the theater was crowded so we had to sit closer down front... but it was STILL really good from there! So should be even better "up higher" - LOLOL!!)

Peace!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shellamar

Agreed 100%.
My family wants to see it again.
Yes the good dragon was not lost on me ;)

The lesson in greed was also not lost on my family.

I haven't seen it yet and BS and I are desperate too! BS has read the book and loved it.

A good Dragon? Now this I have to see lol! About time Dragons were depicted as 'good' in a film.
