Really how long do you think the money flow will last? The local bank accounts are not the golden goose. Also as world economy collapses the flow from the dubs will shut down. IMO they are in desperate need of money NOW, but for what? This is that puzzles me.

I highly doubt most JW elders know about Menlo Park. While widely published in the ex-JW community, this is something that doesn't get far in the active JW community. Information control and all.

The bigger problem is that most elder bodies and active JWs don't realize and/or care that they are being fleeced. Years ago, WTBTS called out other religions for fleecing the flock, but the same problem existed in those other religions. When one's mind is FOR something one deems important, they will be only too happy to give of their finances to support it.

The cong. I still attend (yeah, please leave remarks off about that) decided to give $300 per month. That's about $100 higher than what a top-end contribution used to be for the same stuff. Makes it about $2.60 or so per publisher. But, they notably left off giving anything out of the surplus funds. That remained. And it's considerably higher than the $5000 they were told to keep. Most JWs don't know anything about the direction regarding the surplus funds because those pages and additional letter are secret.

If the cong. I attend is any indication (which I suspect is actually BELOW the average amount resolved to send), at $2.60 per publisher, that's $20.5 million in one month if this average is applied to all 7.9 million JWs, $246.4 million in a year. Of course in poorer countries, this won't happen, but we start to get a picture here. One "brother" who did international construction told me he heard that the WTBTS would be able to take care of all the KH and Assembly Hall projects on the interest alone from this.

I go back to the Israelites when JAH asked for a contribution and the people kept giving and giving and giving until there was actually too much. Moses had to put a stop to it. (Ex. 36:2-4) I can't see WTBTS following Moses' lead in this.

You could be right, dear LQ (mornin' and peace to you!). Although, I was thinking more on the lines of the WTBTS having SOME kind of "talk" about it... while not naming the congregation right out (but SURELY, you know the "elders" will know which congregation... because they are NOTORIOUS for the their gossiping... and especially the kind that bears false witness against their brothers while upholding the atrocities of their golden calf...).

You know, one of those "It would not be 'serving Jehovah, brothers, if..." and "but SOME have the habit of, have engaged in, taken it upon themselves to..." kinds of "talks."



Well, then, we prolly shouldn't become surprised when we begin to see more elaborate, if not large but plain, "houses of God" (i.e., "Beth-Els") sprouting up. Particularly in the more affluent countries (i.e., U.S., Canada, Mexico... parts of South America... and, of course, U.S.-allied Europe...). I mean, it's only the next step, is it not, in the progression of "houses [of God]" built by those who have TRULY apostacized from God? The RCC and their elaborate priories... to the Anglicans and their elaborate abbeys... to the Protestants and their grand "churches"... to the Jews and their elaborate synagogues... to the LDS and their grand "temples"...

I mean, who next but NOT the WTBTS? Some of their "branches" boast things like hand-cut marble and seasoned mahogany. Yet, can we TRULY see the Son of God, the HOLY One of Israel and Holy Spirit, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJah)... who said of himself that he had NOWHERE to lay HIS head... calling ANY of these "home"? And if not him, then certainly not the MOST HOLY One of Israel, JAH of Armies... who last dwelling in a hand-made temple/house/church concluded when He removed His spirit from the grand temple in Jerusalem... and put it in that Son.

That Son, though, had a "temple" that was small, insignificant, and riddled with disease and infirmity. Yet, JAH chose to dwell in THAT "vessel"... because the temple that was my Lord's body was CLEAN... ON THE INSIDE. Unlike the man-made edifice in which some of the most UNCLEAN things were taking place.

These today, whether they be churches, priories, abbeys, temples, synagogues... or kingdom halls... are no different. They are FULL of DEAD men. Because the hypocritical and deceitful men... and women... who worship IN them... are [like] "white-washed graves, full of DEAD men's bones."

Let them build their kingdom "halls." Eventually, her nakedness will be FULLY exposed... and it shown that, like those other harlots... her mother and sisters... and adulterous Israel before her... she, TOO, is a harlot and so:

"... a DWELLING/HOUSE... FOR... DEVILS/DEMONS... and a STRONGHOLD/FORTRESS... FOR... every IMPURE spirit....AND... a CAGE... FOR... every UNCLEAN flying thing."

Which is why the CALL... from JAH... THROUGH Christ... to everyone who CLAIMS to belong to HIM... is to:

"Get OUT of her... MY people!"

Revelation 18:1-24

Thus, as Isaiah EXHORTED:

Depart, depart... go out from there!
Touch no unclean thing!
Come out from it and be pure,
you who carry the articles of JaHVeH house!"

Isaiah 52:11

But he also ENCOURAGES us with:

"But you will not leave in fear and trepidation
or go with fleeing or retreat;
for JaHVeH will go before you,
the God of Israel will be your rear guard."

Isaiah 52:13

How so? In the SAME way He led Israel out of Egypt. THEN, He used Moses to lead them... by following the cloud that was His Son. And that same cloud... to be their rear guard.

NOW, that Son... GLORIFIED... leads... goes before... and brings up the rear guard... of anyone following HIM:

John 10:1-5, 16, 27
Matthew 28:20b

Then... it was with a mediator... and cloud and fire that represented the spirit of JAH... which could be SEEN (with the eyes). Because the people... LACKED faith. NOW... it is with a mediator... and that SPIRIT himself... which can NOT be seen (with the eyes). For those who HAVE faith:

“Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed will be those who have NOT seen and yet BELIEVE.”

Those who saw the one leading them THEN... and the cloud and fire... did not see the land promised to Israel. No, they were ALL laid low JUST before entering into that land. For that reason, THEY were not the ones pronounced "happy." HAPPY will be those who reach the promised "land"... the City of the NEW Jerusalem, which is the TRUE kingdom of God... because they HEARD... not SAW... and OBEYED.

Even the admonishment to stop touching... get out of... that filthy harlot.

Israel. Will they NEVER learn?? We must pray that they DO... to the GLORY of the MOST Holy One of Israel, JAH of Armies... and so FINALLY shut the LYING mouth of the one who keeps "taunting" Him... and accusing US.

Listen... O, Israel... so as to hear, when the Spirit and the Bride SAY... to each and EVERY one of you:

"Come! Take 'LIFE's "water"'... the holy spirit of God, the MOST HOLY One of Israel, JAH of Armies... which "water" is HIS breath, blood, seed, and life... and is poured out ONLY from the innermost parts of the One who IS the Life.. His cistern, His SON and His Chosen KING... the HOLY One of Israel and Holy Spirit... JAHESHUA... the CHOSEN One of JAH (MischaJah)... FREE!"
