I'm not sure what to say here. I have mixed feelings. To me, this is the sort of thing that gives those of us who disagree with the WT the bad image. This man's tactics simply are not fruitful. If he knows how he will be treated, then why do it? And if he knows how WT vilifies people like him for these tactics, then what good is it really doing? He just played right into their hands. I guess if the objective is to expose the hypocrisy, then, mission accomplished.

i appreciate your feedback lq, yet it is the point of it being an open invitation, and how they are very nice at the door, while inviting you to this thing. then u show up, and they want you to leave, cuz u r taping it all.

Apparently he did know what he was doing. He said he did it every year. But some of these brothers through their arrogance and control thought they could control the situation without knowing the law.
Something similar happened to myself, husband and three sons years ago. On a " memorial night" which is a PUBLIC meeting and the biggest event of the year the brothers stopped us at the door, told us we were NOT welcome, that we had NO friends here and that it was trespassing and that they would call the authorities if we tried to enter among them.

We kindly told them that they did not have the right to speak on behalf of everyone, that they carry a heavy responsibility speaking for them....but that we thought it was called a " public meeting place" (which they said YES but not to US LOL) ...and we told them we were not there to cause problems, that we came in peace, we would leave in peace.

Several years went by and our Lord directed us to go to the memorial, which we did. Because they were not expecting us by then, we got inside, partook and left. ( like we do every hear now)
Well you should have heard the whispers ooh my........

Well the following year they met us at the door, told us we could not come in until it started and that THEY would seat us and tell us where to sit. Which they did and guarded us with bodyguards.
Then after memorial exported us out. Okay, THEN we were made aware that this is illegal and they could not do this and that the brothers did not realize the lawsuit that could be filed against them.
( By their arrogance you would have thought they NEW the law)

A letter was sent to the Presiding overseer, the brother that stopped us at the door, and to the society!

Well, the following year memorial time came along. We were not sure what to expect.

To our surprise, the door was wide open, a couple brothers greeted us ( maybe two who didn't really know us lol) and they never said a word to us and we sat ANYWHERE we wanted instead of the back of the Kingdom Hall against the wall with brothers on the side of us.


So obviously the WTBS contacted this local congregation and told them to STOP what they were doing.

So far, this has been our experience every year since. Jah has shut the mouths of the lions as we entered into the lions den. As long as Jah is willing, we will continue to go and demonstrate by our partaking that they all of them are invited to do so dispute the fact that the WTBS has " shut up the kingdom before men" and tells them NOT to yet promises they will live forever by means of THEM not CHRIST.

So, for us it is not antagonize ( although it may come off that way to some) it is to continue to be obedient to our Lords direction, because he knows the hearts of individuals inside and where a seed will be planted.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Skally. I saw KNEES in that video and a hypnotic bowtie.

Was it illegal for him to record that inside the building? Ol' George from the sheriff's office needs some counseling and training; he's one of the ones that would stone us if he could.

Don't know why he called it an assault; seems like battery if they touched him. But maybe they were within their rights to do that.

Well, I liked it. He did not go in and start shouting and hollering; he didn't go after children or any regular r/f jw. He simply went in with his sign and recorded. Is that provocative? Probably, although the disruption and scene that he was accused of making was actually being caused by the crowd of security elders around him.

But this is what I most liked about this video:

The wts makes this a public event, inviting everyone.... in bold print. That is their choice. The wts also uses the law however it can to protect and promote its interests, including preaching in public places, AND, allowing/enforcing members to be df'd and shunned, and that is done under protection of freedom of religion. So they cannot then cry when those same laws work against the wts, and someone else uses those laws to instead protect them and their interests. Such as preaching in a public place, and being in that public place.

I also don't think it hurts to let an arrogant person see firsthand that their arrogance is misplaced; that they are actually ignorant of the laws they are touting. Those who can think twice (who truly do want to do right/good, know and act in truth) might take a look in the mirror, and think twice about what it is they THINK they know.

He is an idiot. He should remain outside and nobody could stop him. Further more what did he expect to accomplish? Open the eyes of blind ones? Outside he would get much more publicity.

A bit of a heads up (peace to you, all!):

The WTBTS meetings are not public. Not by ANY stretch. We ALL know this. They are CALLED "public" meetings, and the public are INVITED to them. Why? To make more "disciples"? WTBTS disciples are made in households, bedrooms (babies), and at doors, dear ones. Bible studies are rarely started at KHs/AHs. Most who attend those meetings have already had a Bible study in their home (or someone else's home).

They call them "public" meetings for one reason... and make NO mistake about this: to maintain their 501(c)(3) tax exempt status with the IRS.

That is the reason they actually REFER to one meeting AS public: the "public talk." Because they KNOW that, like their members, most government workers don't have a clue, either.

A bunch of wolves... greedy, hungry, vicious predators... masquerading as (loving) sheep. Make no mistake: them wolves don't only want yer lambchops. They want yer fleece, too!
