Okay, this whole 'I'm gonna stay up late 'cuz I can' thing, is just not working for me, lol. I must be getting old(er) ; )

But tonight is the last night of work for me, and then I have three days off.

All be good over here Tams and Shelbyz...

Cold and rainy but work and family are good. After about TWO days of late nights and or early mornings, my body shuts down, def feeling the age

Gonna make a day trip to Sacramento on Sunday. Gonna see an old high school girlfriend and her entire family ( 6 girls and the parents) after almost 30 years. And yes we were all JWs back n the day! Can't wait to be able to share our Lord whatever does come up, praise Jah!!!

Good morning everyone....

Happy Monday!

Had a fabulous day yesterday. Got to reunite and meet all knds of new babies in this family. Wow, they are such a great family and none of them stayed in the organization. Most of them still have faith in god and CHRIST and don't seem angry for the time spent in. One daughter said, she has taken the foundation of spirituality of what they taught us, let them go as her mediator and just lives a good life being loving and kind to everyone. Not judging anyone!

Spent most of the day visiting and catching up but what sursprised me is the dad in the family which all the girls have great respect for, he is the one that we had the longest in detail spiritual conversation with. He has kept his faith in God, realizes CHRIST has been given everything, although NOT a trinity, and has tried to share with the WTBS truths he has found over the years ( 30) and we laughed because he said, " they don't care and they don't wanna hear it!"

He asked for our site and I gave it to him and invited him here! Hopefully he will check us out and maybe we will meet him here. He knows there's a lot of xJws sites out here and that the society watches them all as to how to cover their assess and what to print in the literature to counter the attacks.

But all in all, the day was great, praise Jah!!!!! They invited us anytime to stay with them. So.....

Oh, I am so glad to hear that your visit went well, and that you were also able to speak and share about our Lord. So great also that they have not left Christ and God. I knew it would go well for you. Whatever Jah and His Son will.

Well, then, we'll leave a "light" on for him, dear 'Mom - LOLOL! Glad the day went fabulous for you dear folks. Question: you meant literal new babies, as in humans... and not new "babes" in Christ? Not that it matters as BOTH are reasons to praise JAH. But I know how you love babies... and word things... sometimes, so just curiuos - LOLOL!

LOLOL..... Awwww...I mean literal babies here. But ya never know. A few sat around the table for hours listening in, maybe a seed or two makin babies???LOLOL!!!!!!

Good morning! Well, even though it is evening here now... but it might be morning for our UK people!

I have not been on much lately, I'm sorry. I have been a bit busy, a bit distracted with some extended family issues, and my son is 12 tomorrow, and he is having a joint birthday party with his friend who turned 12 last week... so that is going to be fun for them. We are going to the West Edmonton mall indoor waterpark... wave pool, slides, fun park area, etc, etc. I am going to come home tomorrow night and just collapse ; ) Although... he and his friends are old enough now that we, the parents, can supervise them from the comfy lounge seats, woohoo. Not that I mind swimming in the wave pool; I always have fun once I'm in. I took him shopping at Toys-R-Us tonight. He wanted NO electronic stuff, and ALL lego... so, yeah, that was happy times for me too.

So now that I am babbling on, lol, I hope everyone else is doing good.

That would be it, sKally, thanks for putting that pic up... with the majority of the waterslides and hot tubs and fun park behind you in that view. There is also intermittent bungee jumping that goes on there on that tall tower in the middle of the wave pool, throughout the day.

But the wave pool is always the most fun!

i drive by that mall several times a day

bought "Spirited Away," "Ghost in the Shell,"
and all 26 episodes of "Last Exile" (cartoon)
from HMV on the second floor
because they've got a really huge anime section
plus
i've slurped many a bubble tea there
beside the waterpark

in rolling seas
or even
breathing through scuba gear
underwater
at night

very comfortable
above water
and under water
but not in between

alas
i suffer the same affliction as many a fisherman
--- i can't swim
or tread water,
i sink like a brick

i am struck with paralyzing fear
and start swallowing sea water
so i run from waves
with friends laughing at the absurdity of it all
like beside the pier at Port Hueneme

but if i were to wear full scuba
(flippers and snorkel, too
--- ummm, can i surf like that?)
and hit those waves
well
now we're talkin'

but i think they'd toss me out of the waterpark
