I just can't believe these silly cartoons and videos they are coming out with. Trying to convince these people it's so much fun to be a JW, Ooh my ooh my father, the adversary makes it look so fun to sell your soul.

Okay, before i go to jw.org and give them my 'foot traffic'...do they not realize the material they arm Us with? I mean, a truly 'wtf' moment here.

THIS is exactly what is neede to present to the public, while standing near or at these jw litter-ature carts and start asking them direct questions and demanding direct answers. And if they evade or avoid....get contentious with the situation. They are only out to recruit where they know children are at play, with lots of parents to preach to. Thusly the souls and spirits of any potential recruited parent WILL OBEY AND RECRUIT THE CHILDREN AND THEN GO FOR THE FAMILY NUCLEUS.

BUT NOT IN MY TOWN WILL THEY BE ABLE TO BE EFFECTIVE. MY GOAL IS TO SEE THESE CARTS BE DECLARED NULL AND VOID. TOXIC WASTE DUMPS, IF YOU WILL. CONSIDER ME RESERVED FOR THE TASK.

Thx for 'sharing' OUTLAW. It's infuriting to WITNESS this stuff even after I've grown up and it is not part of my belief systems any longer. Al I can think about is the torture in these kids souls. I shall ask the "jw carters"{tm skally} how they view handicapped children and what does the future hold for them if they recruited into this religion? And i will be loud and forthright for the public to get an earful.

When I did my study (two years, and I don't remember how far into it I was at this point... maybe halfway?)... one of the women who conducted my study said that 'if we can get them by 8, then we have them'... referring to children, of course.

Now, that comment did make me pause for a moment, but I think I must have been in 'trusting' mode. I did hear (though I did not know at the time that Christ spoke, and I don't remember the exact words), that this was dishonest, itself, and 'how much truth could there be in them if you have to 'get them' as young children?

It was just one warning sign in my study that something was not quite right with this organization; there were a few more that I ignored, until I stopped studying.


I only ever saw the caleb/wizard video... but that was such a horrible lie about God (making it abusive to children - God is going to kill you if you are bad and make him sad), and I never wanted to watch another one.

tammy, it is no wonder. such toxic waste is not easy to get through. contention rises and you're not sure how to address it. you may even want to call the wt and ask them point blank,...what in THE heck are you guys thinking? I know it is not far from my mind right now. Yet, depending on what I want to discuss re: this toxic dump pile on their site i just WITNESSED, I might get put on hold a long time today and have to listen to their music. That would be a minor issue though yes.

You see, when I WITNESS this stuff online, I envision a jw elder at my door trying to cram this toxic waste down my throat, and i get all excited inside in how i'm going to contend with It. Like, like right now would be a awesome if they knocked on my door. lolololool soooooooooo, the reason i do phone calls, and i told this to brumleys office, is because i have questions and your site does not provide a forum or chat for ANYONE to ask you anything. And because in my mind, going straight to the horses mouth seems more logical than asking a bunch of strangers and klowns online, where anyone can be anything they want; even you and your I.T. team at brooklyn....they can pretend to be a bethelote in a closet somewhere, but it is actually tony morris in his office with all the lights on and the phone is on speaker.!!

So yea, perhaps they need to here my contentions with these toxic videos, today.

I too was a JW child from 6 on...

This stuff would have never been tolerated as my momma stressed with me that " the truth " is serious and no games to be played with.

Armageddon was coming in my lifetime before I was even a teen so the message was always serious, the pictures and reality like the " orange" paradise lost to paradise regained book that I had to study before the truth book.

Everyone but us would be destroyed, and she pulled me out of a Christian school in the first grade and said, " silly to waste your time coloring pictures of Jesus."

There is much more serious work to be done and if I wanted to quit high school in the early 1975 and pioneer she would support me 100%!

So, it seems the work is not as crucial as it was when I was growing up. The silly cartoons are among the JWs. The same things they used to condemn other religions for doing. Ooh my ooh my....what would my momma say today of she were alive?...

She would say as she had always said, " just don't question it, just do it!"

So now i'm over there reading this thread that was brought up on this subject. And the author states they have never visited the site. That struck me because it's what i a taslked to gen counsel about in my phone call before the last phone call...why is there no feedbacksection or forum or chat? even the 718# for jwmedia just rings. and the only thing u have is a place where the unsuspecting public can request a recruitment primer.

This authors topic is great, yes. But when i get gen counsel on the phone here in a few, i'm going to contend with this issue of "I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS SITE" and quest for a real reason. And to stress the importance of featuring a way for anyone coming to their site and viewing this 'material' can ask questions and get answers in real time and/ or on a discussion forum. i will drive it home, that if they fail in the future to address this issue of merit, people will have no other choice BUT to call them directly with their issues, questions, feedback and discussions. That i will keep putting forth that instead of chichatting online and wondfering about all things wt....just call them up and ask for general counsel and ask for counsel.

OUTLAW: Would you mind pointing out that issue of jw.org having no features such as what i just spoke of, into that thread, just to get some feedback on THAT particular issue....or make a new thread for it?

we did it years ago.....was a blast and helped the public to witness how evasive in their communications they were.

now if they would provide features where people could discuss and give feedback on what they are viweing and hearing, we would not have to call them nearly daily to inquire about all we are WITNESSING ON THE INTERNET.

Geezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz they want to be all technically hip with the jw.org, the tablets, utube, etc.....how old skool is it NOT TO HAVE THESE FEATURES IN PLACE ON YOUR SITE?
