I saw that on Facebook, OMG it is unbelievable that people go along with this blind faith but I have seen if first hand with my Mother. She was so in awe of the elders she would do anything, she craved something drastic happening, she would have taken the Kool-aid, the pill whatever, no hesitation.

My mother recently told me that if the Society asked us to kill, then she would know it's not God's organization. It would take that for her to know. I thought "wow, just wow."

The society DOES ask them to kill. Demands this from them, even. With their blood policy.

If they don't comply, then they get to fear Armageddon and annihilation (from the wts pov) for them and their children. And they, themselves, are thrown out/df'd... which is the same thing really, because according to them, anyone not a jw is a goner at armageddon, and armageddon could come at any moment (according to them... not according to the Truth).

She was meaning more like suicide-bomber style. An uber-JW will not see the blood issue as asking them to kill. And very few JWs that have not been face-to-face with or close to someone who has been face-to-face with the blood issue really can grasp what is being asked of them.

Aren't they KILLING by asking one another to KILL themselves and encouraging them to KILL one another by forbidding persons to partake of what will give them true life forever?

I definitely would say they are not only responsible for killing, they ask folks to kill. Themselves as well as others.

So sad truly that they are so quick to see it in other cults but not their cult!

You see that. I see that. An uber-JW will not see it that way. Sadly. WTBTS has them so twisted around when it comes to partaking that they literally cannot see what the verses say. I never did until I met Shelby. And then it was like, duh! How could I have missed that all these years? Of course, bringing this to anyone's attention makes them do one of three things: (1) reject it and just terminate the conversation, (2) reject it and report you to the elders, or (3) accept it (that's when cognitive dissonance starts). Most go with #1. Some might go with #2. Few go with #3. Folks I've talked to have all gone with #1. Sad but true.

The big heads that rule the world have learned their lesson. No need to kill when you can make them your slaves.

Some nations become their slaves without their will and some idiots become their slaves believing that they are setting themselves free!

Yes, I understand what you mean. Thing is... as long as there is good justification, killing just might not be seen as killing. Like the whole burning at the stake business from other religions. Not that I think the jws would ever consider doing that... or any suicide-bomber style either. They are more about spiritually killing people, as JM said. Destroying their faith entirely, refusing to allow people to come to Christ, not entering the door themselves and refusing to allow others who wish to, to enter.

I think your three options of what some do, confronted with that (and other things that show the wts is NOT the truth) were really good. Sometimes though, for those who choose option one, a seed has been planted. We might not see any evidence of that, but it may be there, and what happens with that is not up to us. We can hope and give our witness to Christ, and just love the person, and continue to hope.

As stated this weekend, the longer and more willing the parents of jw children are to STAY OBEDIENT to to little wt men, the torture of jw children, in many dynamics and degrees, will continue on a daily basis.

It IS that simple.

STAY and OBEY? YOU are responsible for such hideous torture.

You really cannot even classify this type of obedience AS blind. It's absolute blatant.

I plan on staying this course through some of the conference calls this weekend. This point must be driven Home, for good and for Good.

I wonder how many made their jw kids eat that poison sunday after i told them saturday night that they did not have to obey wt men any longer. its those damned parents. i dont blame the little wt men, as much as i blame the blatant obedience that the parents grant them. thats all just so the parents can cry in their spilled blood.

screw that! these conf calls are now a productive way to be absolutely useful in whipping the little wt men into a skallywaggin' frenzy!! there is no stopping my imagination little boys!!

rick and i are hardcore enemies of the wt. its not like we sit in the background and write tons of crap. no, the wt men KNOW WHO WE ARE. Fearon is not the same guy when he is the phone. He means business and he knows what he is talking about when he says wt is very much his enemy. I used to frown upon him, yet we've had many a discussion offline for me to know that under the antics is a real fighter. I'm gonna make his show blow a gasket right through the floors of the legal department @wtbts headquarters. MORRIS WILL NOT SEE ME COMING!
