I'm glad you had a good visit Justmom!

My son won, and it took all morning AND all the early afternoon, lol. I have to go get my little one in ten minutes; I have not showered; I have not attempted to start dinner; I have not done anything at all... except lose every single territory to the dark forces of Sauron (it is a Lord of the Rings Risk). We may rematch on Thursday, his last day home before going back to school.

He is very pleased with himself.

Peace,
tammy

Hilarious!!!! ::))

Have fun!

Love ya Jmom

Teaching on supply this week. Leave home at 6.30am and just got in at 6pm. So cold and so tired.

(Sorry, needing to rant)

I'm sorry Loz that today is not such a good day for you. Wish we could curl up on the couch, drink tea and chat. Although we need this rain here, it is gloomy. Gonna go to work, keep busy it always helps my spirit. Hope tomorrow is better for you.

Love to you my sister,
Justmom /:)

That's cute, Anomos!

Sorry you are in pain from the cold, Loz. It was supposed to have been -30 overnight and this morning. I never checked to see if that was accurate (I don't think it is, it doesn't look that cold out), but I let my little one stay home from school anyway. I really just don't want anymore super cold. We got spoiled with the warm spell the last couple weeks (warm being anywhere from -1 to +7 Celcius), and I just did not feel like facing super cold this morning. It was only a half day anyway.

Today, I am getting my oldest ready for tomorrow, the first day of semester 2 and a whole new set of courses. He needs a new backpack, and some more school supplies. He got all his credits from semester 1 : )

I am also working on cleaning the house today, top to bottom.... but that will perhaps only get partially done. I mean, if I am being honest with myself, knowing myself, lol.

Peace,
tammy

Thank you Anomos,

Such a cute good morning picture!!!!!

Tammy, glad your boy is doing well in school. His support is so important and I'm glad your there.
I can't imagine the cold your having. I would never survive these days. Too many body aches.
But keeping your younger one home is probably a smart idea.
In the mid and east coast, lots of accidents from folks going out in the extreme freeze. Some stuck on highways for hours freezing in their cars.

Stay warm, best wishes with the house cleaning ;)
Love ya Kim

It is a snowy morning here today, huge snowflakes coming down. Its very pretty and I don't mind it because we don't need to go anywhere today. I did all my shopping yesterday. It is 28 degrees Fahrenheit here today and last week it was -28 degrees Fahrenheit, crazy winter.

Not so cold here but whenever it is not warm I do not feel OK as I cannot afford heating. I hope I 'll get arrested soon by the Nazi regime that rules our country and at least have some decent heating-prisoners are packed like sardines and the concentration camps are thriving...

Well done to your son Tammy, hope he settled in today. Sorry for any of you who are in very cold spots. It could be worse here, there's snow not far from us but our temps are moderate compared to some of you.

Loz x

Given various world conditions, whether cold, heat, illness, hunger, horrible regimes, concentration camps, human trafficking, murder... if y'all ever see me complain about ANYTHING... other than utter stupidity... or false religion (same thing, IMHO)... and the aundry cold/flu... oh, and bad drivers... please... "slap" me? Because compared with some of you dear folk... and most of the undeveloped world... I would be SO out of line. And out of touch!

You dear ones take care of yourselves! Stay warm and well... and may JAH bless you and yours, truly!

Your servant and a slave of Christ,

Shellamar

Just a quick good morning check in today. I work tonight, and I did running around today... but I also got the chili made for the superbowl (that I won't be home to watch), and bought the insanely priced graphing calculator for my son's math. I now have a couple of hours to sit, and I am going to do just that ... maybe... ; )

Hope everyone is well, and I hope it stays warm for you Anomos, as well as for anyone else who gets pains from the cold.

Peace,
tammy

Yep, those graphing calculators AIN'T cheap, dear Tec (mornin' and peace, luv!). Sadly, most only use it for one semester/class! Thinking maybe the manufacturers know that and are making a killing - LOLOL! Sorry you'll miss the big game. Glad they have your chili to keep those who get to watch it company!

Enjoy your day, girl, stay warm... and peace to you and yours!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shellamar
