The storm passed, whew! It was making me very nervous for awhile. It cooled everything down a lot too, now it's not humid anymore. It's cloudy, light rain and thunder is rumbling in the distance but the wind is gone.

Hmmmm interesting way of seeing things, never thought of it that way.

Lol, sorry folks! Perhaps because the UK is so small, relatively speaking, we don't have to rely on wells for our water. Ours comes mostly from reservoirs, yes? We perhaps take for granted that wherever we are, if we turn on a tap (faucet) or shower, there will be water.

"We don't know we're born" is an expression that means we don't realise how lucky we are, yes?


(Having discussed this with hubby, there are apparently some remote areas here which still rely on wells)

Morning everyone

It is a lovely morning here, 70 degrees, the humid heat is gone and now its a perfect summer day. It poured rain in torrents at 3 AM this morning and I guess that purged the humid heat away.
