Hi everyone! Just home from frolicking all weekend in the sun. Tired now (Sunday evening here) but it was a great weekend, can't beat good friends and good food.

The Lake District is lovely, isn't it, Loz? I used to go youth hostelling there a lot, armed with my trusty Wainwright. I bought each one as they cam out, so they are probably first editions and could be worth a bomb except that they've been up and down mountains, pored over in the pouring rain, and even, on one occasion, shared a rucksack with a box of eggs in rather too close proximity...ah, the follies of youth and inexperience and having an optimistic outlook!

The Lake District is beautiful Char, yes. We were there last week and boating on Windermere, glorious. This past weekend we were in Knaresborough Yorks. Another pretty place, especially in the sun.

Mornin' and peace, all! Glad everyone's day seems to be going well. Lemme know if you (and dear hubby) do need a translation, dear Ataloa (peace to you, luv!) but I'm thinking you all got it.

Peace... and enjoy/seize the day, chikkens!

That's lovely of you, justmom!

I have REALLY bad hay fever, the worst bout I have ever had. It started with a massive nose bleed on Sunday, and has just got worse and worse.

So I may be lying a bit low for a bit...nose hurts, ear hurts, eyes are sore,...making good use of a herbal, non-pharmaceutical nasal spray, as I greatly prefer what's natural...but I am not sure it's working.

*Imagine for yourselves a red-nosed smiley*

Oh No Char about the Hayfever, I know what that's like. You can take pills for it but then all that does is make you sleepy. If people have not had it they don't realize how bad it is to cope with.

I used to have extremely bad hay fever from the age of 11 until I was 29 years old. It suddenly went away one year when we visited relatives on the island of Newfoundland in August which was the time when I got the Hayfever. Newfoundland does not have plants that cause Hayfever and somehow that broke the cycle for me thankfully. Before that I was totally miserable for 6 weeks every year with it, I could barely function except if I was in a place that had AC. I sought out air conditioned places a lot.

Zoe, I am allergic to various things, but it has got a lot worse recently.

This summer here is exceptionally hot. Summer didn't come for ages but when it did it came bang! All at once! LOL!

I'm OK, just bunged up and sore! You know what they say about bears with sore heads! The same is true of Chariklo's! :D

Morning everyone Image ImageImage

Its another very HOT HUMID and sunny day here. ImageWe had a cool awful spring but now summer is here full force. I haven't been able to go outside as this kind of heat wrecks havoc on my MS symptoms.

Is everyone else having Hot summer weather, its great if you have a pool, I so miss my pool.

I hope everyone is feeling well today, Char I hope your Hayfever is better, Tammy, hope your cooties went away and Shelby, I hope you are OK. Image

Morning ZOE and everyone....

Weather is actually perfect here. But then this is why we chose to leave the snow and crazy weather last year where we had spent 32 years for me, 40 years for hubby.

I love summer. I don't like gloomy and cold. And I'm DONE with snow. Great to visit, but not to live in.

Hope you are settling in okay ZOE.

Hope everyone else is on the mend.

Have a positive day folks!

Love Justmom /:) 8)

Good morning!

I am feeling much better today, so I will be getting things done (you know that whole house and life issue that just piles up when you're sick, lol).

Hubbie is now sick, even though he went to work : (

Oldest is sick too, but its not hitting him very hard. So that's good.

Hope everyone else is doing good and/or better today!

Peace,
tammy

Mornin' and peace to EVERYONE... and thank YOU, dear Ataloa (the greatest of love and peace to you, dear one - and I am doing quite well, thank you! I woke up... and so did all of YOU (and I am SO grateful to see you all here!)... as well as did my family folks, here, there, everywhere... so... yep... it's ALL good! LOLOLOL!).

Seize the day, chikkens! Even if that means sitting on the couch watchin' yer favorite soap (ewww! LOL!) or sports event! So long as you're breathing...

BREATHE! And then, if you've a mind and heart to...

Praise JAH! Because every living BREATHING thing... can... and should... praise JAH!

Peace!

Your servant and a slave of Christ,

Shellama
