LOL... in fact, in my house (while I do try to anticipate needs, and I am thinking about what the boys - young or old - need), those same boys know that if they really NEED something from me, they better ask, because i am not a mind reader, and in fact, they also better remind me closer to the date of the day they need something, because i also don't remember.

And vice versa.

You need something in this house, you best use your voice. Or as the dog knows... your paws. (he digs in his metal water bowl if he needs water, and we have not filled it... then he looks up at me... yo' woman! i been diggin'; where my water!)

Peace,
tammy

Morning everyone, its a gorgeous, gorgeous perfect summer day. I woke up at 7 AM to the sound of dozens of boats speeding by across the street. I guess there must be a bass boat fishing tournament this morning.

Now for some coffee on the back deck and try and relax and hope there are no crisis's today. One day at a time.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Yeah, daer hubby and I laughed... AND heaved a sigh over that, dear Zoe (peace... and thanks for that!).

I felt the same re the SF crash landing, too. Bad for the people involved; grateful we were not.

Peace!

Shellama, on her own...

Good morning!

I am sick, and I am going to be a man about it ; )

I'll be around, but probably not much talking from me today. Head is foggy. Fortunately, my little one is feeling MUCH better.

Peace!

Happy Sunday everyone, it's a gorgeous weekend here, in the 80's, sunny and perfect weather.

We are across the street from a big Lake, Buckhorn Lake, On the Trent system that connects to 100's of lakes with lift locks. The boats are roaring and speeding around having fun. It's a BIG TEASE for me because I can't see them from the back yard, but I sure hear them, I can see from the front yard but that's not where the deck is and the gazebo and patio furniture. Oh well at least we can see if we look out the livingroom or bedroom windows.

Aw Tammy, being sick sucks and especially in the summer. I hope you don't have to go to work and can rest.

Hi everyone! Just home from frolicking all weekend in the sun. Tired now (Sunday evening here) but it was a great weekend, can't beat good friends and good food.

Hope you're feeling better Tammy? Zoe you're sounding a little brighter now, and that's good.

Loz x

Is her interpreter here? j/k
My husband got a kick out of that.

Hope you feel better today Tammy and Zoe. We are getting some much-needed rain this morning; the moo cows will have something to eat a little longer.

The Lake District is lovely, isn't it, Loz? I used to go youth hostelling there a lot, armed with my trusty Wainwright. I bought each one as they cam out, so they are probably first editions and could be worth a bomb except that they've been up and down mountains, pored over in the pouring rain, and even, on one occasion, shared a rucksack with a box of eggs in rather too close proximity...ah, the follies of youth and inexperience and having an optimistic outlook!

Loz, glad you enjoyed your time at the Lake with friends, that's what summer if for for sure. Lucky you.

It is a beautiful summer day here, sunny and hot and clear blue sky. Seems summer kicked in the minute we moved to the new place.
I slept in today for the first time since we moved here, slept until 9:30 AM, I am a bit groggy yet but feel more rested. I slept good last night, John wasn't here, he went back to work on the night shift, now he is sleeping so its quiet and peaceful right now.
I am a bit settled in but still don't know where some things are, I couldn't find nail clippers or my skin lotion last night. A lot of stuff is buried in boxes and still in the garage. John is still bringing over 2 loads of stuff everyday and its been 15 days since we started moving. I think its his stuff, tools and crap, I can't fit anymore stuff in the house that's for sure. I have to store my coffee table, end table and a bunch of stuff in the garage as there is no room and I don't want clutter. I just dread the thought of having to do this move all over again though when the next crisis and blow-up happens which will be soon I assure you.
