As if people can just afford thousand dollar deductibles and stuff. I mean, what happens if you can't afford your deductible? :?

Insurance companies have a million* ways to get OUT of paying too.

Peace,

Morning, not a good one for me. I feel horrible, must be the stress plus the humidity, we have no air conditioning in our bedroom. It's raining here this morning but hot and humid outside.

I am waiting for the guy to come and replace our internet modem so we have high speed wireless Internet again. The emergency backup wireless I have now is slow and expensive. This afternoon John is bringing the computers to a repair place to see if they are fixable. We are hoping its just the power supplies gone and not the hard drives too. If they are completely fried we have to buy new ones and make a insurance claim.

Hope things work out with your PCs Zoe, and it's not too expensive. I feel very achey today too, although its a lovely sunny day. Have just been for my hair done which has improved my mood lol, when my hair's a mess it gets me down, suppose all us womenfolk are the same?

Loz x

Oh, dear, I hope you BOTH feel better soon and have a GREAT day/rest of the week, dear Loz and Zoe!

Peace to you BOTH!

Shellama, who, sadly, isn't really much of a girlie girl and so can't sit still long enough to get her hair "done" (and doesn't really like anyone "flitting" that closely about my person... 'cept maybe my daughter who is a licensed stylist, but even having her do so works my nerves), so I have to do it myself, to the detriment of the sight of the world, I'm sure!... on her own...

Good morning Ladies and Gents....

Looks like the hair do's are gonna " make the day,". LOL
Keep the do' s low ladies ....as lightening might not be too far away still. LOLOLOL!!

(!sorry ::)) just had a visual of a cartoon I saw, the old birds nests hair- do, )

Looks like this is our last day of dreary weather. I did not leave my house yesterday and yes my back is feeling the ' lazy of it' as well, LOL !

Hope all is fixed as cheaply as possible dear Zoe. Of course, everything was happening too smooth. It will all work out...

CHIN UP GIRL-0.... We love ya

Raining here (peace to you all!)... which is a bit of a relief for me (I get REAL achy when the weather's going to change and so felt quite lousy last Thurs/Frid - rain began night before last). So, no more aches!! BUT... my sinuses feel as if they are about to explode!! Nose, eyes, ears, and throat all "achy."

Think I'm gonna take a nap (puppies are, so...).

If I don't return later today, dear chikkens... hasta tomorrow!

Peace!

Shellama-face-feelin'-like-was-hit-with-a-[soft-sih]-hamma'... on her own...

Well, my roof is leaking in the top of the hall closet... ; )

What can you do? (whoever says 'fix it' in answer to that rhetorical question gets to pay for it g:) )

C'est la vie. These things will all work out. No lightning strikes yet for me though!

The rain could stop anytime though. That would be nice, lol.

Peace!

tammy

Oh Tammy, leaking roofs are awful, I had one in the guest bedroom in Toronto (I was renting the house) and the property management person thought I could wait 6 months to get it fixed. I had to put buckets on the bed and dresser where it was leaking. The basement in that house flooded every spring, one spring I had 3 feet of water and everything was ruined. Water and leaking is bad and you need money to fix it.

Update on my disaster, the router and Internet not fixed yet. I waited all day yesterday for the guy to come, was on the phone to them 4 times, mostly on hold to be told their guy was coming. He never arrived, so was told he is coming today with the new router. Big companies can't seem to get their act together grrrrrr.
Woke up this morning with a phone call telling us our computers are ruined, we have to replace the laptop completely and he can rebuild my desktop (which is only 2 months old)has to replace the guts, Motherboard etc. I am going to try and get the Internet company to pay for it, it's their cable and the lightening going through it that did this. One can only try lol, if not we are out $1000. for now we are only going to replace 2 not the 3rd desktop as it's 3 years old.

Oh dear life is never simple.

A pool party, lucky you Momz! ENJOY!

We used to have pool parties every year since 1995 but now our pool here is too small and not heated so no more pool fun, next month we will have no pool :(

Yay, good news our router has been replaced, high speed Internet is back. The technician who came here was very grumpy, would not even test the connection for us as our computers are at the shop and dead. John had to test with our iPad. The guy that came here looked like a cockroach and his personality was like a hemorrhoid, I guess he was mad because almost every house on our street had to have their routers replaced. He insisted it was not their cable that did it, that it was electrical. We know that's not true as our power bars are still working and all electronics not connected to the cable is fine. The Internet company is obviously Trying to cover their asses as there could be a lot of claims against them.

Now that is one helluva line, Zoe... an editor would LOVE that in a book for a character, lol!

I think it was not a roof leak for me... but you guys know that metal twirly thing on the top of roofs? I think just because of the amount of rain, that it came through there, since that is over the closet that leaked from the top. Same problems with water in the attic, mind you... but I believe my roof is just fine ; )

It HAS stopped raining though ; )

Peace,
tammy
