Good Morning, Happy Monday. I start moving next Monday, where does the time go. Not looking forward to the physical moving part but certainly like the idea of the nicer house we are going too.

It is HOT here now, one extreme to another, 82 degrees when I got out of bed. It is going to be sweltering today so I will have to stay inside near the AC as the humidity makes me sick.

I hope you all are having a great day.

Good morning!!

I LOVED WWZ : ) I knew that I would, but lol... it was in 3D, which I am getting tired of... but this is a movie that it is worth it to see in 3D. Both me AND my husband, jumped, in a few spots. Loved it!

Zoe, I remember... the worst part (okay, second worst part... for me the worst part about Ontario are the earwigs *shudders*; which Alberta does not have *yay* )... about Ontario is the humidity. For anyone else who doesn't know, Ontario (at least southern Ontario) gets so hot and so humid, that there are days when there are weather warnings that people are not supposed to leave their houses, but rather stay inside with air conditioning. It can be that suffocating.

Thank you for all the well wishes for the anniversary. We had a great dinner, and of course the movie was awesome!

Peace,
tammy

Yes the earwigs have appeared, we found our first one yesterday clinging to our patio table, I am so used to them they don't bother me anymore. I do hate mosquitos more than anything and we get lots of those but we have lanterns that keep them away from us where we sit. The humidity is not great here but thank goodness for AC. Yesterday was 84 degrees and with the humidity it said it was like 102 degrees F. UGH It is 84 now and rising. Wasn't it 3 weeks ago I was complaining because it was cold here, no happy medium in this area lol.

I saw the trailer for WWZ, looks great, we will have to wait and see it on DVD minus 3D, I havn't seen much 3D before since I haven't been to a movie in 6 years.

Good morning, happy Monday.

Woe, a little humidity has been lovely here in the bay. The mountains were drying me out like a snake, ( for real lol)
But all that humidity, YUCK!!! Can't imagine.

I can't wait to see WWZ, thanks for the report.

It is raining here today and has been gloomy. Not cold just gloomy. Not a bad change for a minute, but since it is the end of June it better not plan on sticking around 8)

Enjoy your day
Love Justmom

When you say 'bay' JM, do you mean San Francisco Bay? I can't imagine how wonderful it must be to live in such a fabulous place! I always wished I had grown up in America....

The South Bay actually. We are about 40 minutes from San Francisco. It is a wonderful place to live.
We have been here almost 9 months.

Oh, one thing the States has, from my experience, is beautiful weather. I have been to Florida and Chicago as a kid.

But recently to DC, and also to Southern California. So beautiful. (okay, pretty hot sometimes too) But the wind was so warm in DC, it was a pleasure to just stand outside, lol. We were right on the beach in Cali, so... you can't go wrong there, right?

Oh, and...

PARTY AT JUSTMOM'S HOUSE!!!

Peace,

Disaster for us today, lightening struck our house around 3:30 PM. We had a bad thunderstorm and it hit us direct. Scared the c**p out of us. John screamed as it seemed like the lightening was coming into the house, it flashed like it was coming into the kitchen and made a loud and vibrating crack. Immediately we lost our Internet and the pool pump, both have electrical circuits at the back of the house. We did not lose our power though.

It took out the outside ground fault plug and pool pump. It fried our Internet modem and all 3 computers connected to it plus the printer and scanner. What a expensive thing this is going to be on top of moving. We will lose all our data, :( which is even worse. Insurance said I am covered for it but since I made a claim 2 years ago in June when a Tornado damaged our house, I now have to pay a deductible of $1000 and my insurance will go up grrrrr. So we need to do some work to see how much it will cost to replace all that. In any case, this will cost us at least $1000

The Internet modem is being replaced tomorrow but we only have our iPads to work from for now.

The lightening strike came in through the cable modem and not through the power plugs so good thing our TVs are not cable or we would have lost them too.

Oh dear, life is exciting isn't it?

:O
I guess so! Zoe!! Wow. House struck by lightning?!! I think I would have screamed too.

I am really sorry about you losing your data though, and the thousand dollars :(. I lost all our photos a couple of years ago when the mac crashed, and have since saved them on-line, and not just on the mac.

Definitely time for you two to get out of that house, I think!!

Peace,
tammy

Oh wow Zoe a lightening strike? Not good, not good at all. You really didn't need this at the moment.

No you didn't.... :O

OMG my dad had lightning strike his roof last winter and it blew out his T.V. And he had to buy a new one. I can't believe it. Haven't heard this nor known anyone and now two people I know.
Well, that's not true. Lightning struck the wing of our plane on our way to Ethiopia ... :8O but it turned out for the best as we gotta fly over the Red Sea. Way Cool!!, 8)

Sorry ZOE.... //;)

Oh Zoe! Glad you two weren't hurt, at least. Gee maybe moving away from that house will seem like a relief to John now.

We now found out it didn't strike our house, it struck and uprooted a huge tree down next door and that was beside the underground cable for Internet, TV and phone and that sent lightening through the cable modem and fried our electronics. We now found out we are not the only ones affected. Expensive act of God for us as the insurance company describes it.
