Hi everyone,

It is Saturday morning here, nice clear blue skies, but very cool - just how I like it. Thursday was a public holiday here, and I took yesterday off work so this is a looooong weekend. We are out of town for it, and I am currently sitting on the balcony of our hotel room wondering if I can get away with going to the breakfast buffet in my pajamas. I'm too comfy to get changed!

Have a great day wherever you are!

WS

Morning everyone and waves at Winston sitting in his pyjamas on the balcony Image

Here it is still gloomy and rainy and cool. Its the worst spring I have seen in years here. last year we were on our deck in March with 75 degrees.

Oh well what can you do. Happy Saturday everyone.

Good morning!

I'm sorry for your crappy spring, Zoe. We've actually done a complete turn around and we're pretty nice here. Windy though... doesn't help the allergies. But the hubby should be on his bike within the week, so he's happy ;)

Peace,
tammy

Good morning ZOE and Tammy

ZOE, crappy is right, lol. Reminds me of my old home town. We would have warm swim weather one day and then it could snow the next. Made me " crazy"

Tammy, glad it's spring up,your way. I think our raining season is over here in the bay.
Allergies are almost gone. Walking, riding, swimming weather here we come!

Enjoy your Saturday

Yay, we are sitting outside on the back deck enjoying the sound of the birds and breathing in the fresh air. Finally! This neighborhood is soooooo quiet and in the backyard I can't see anyone. We are surrounded by trees.
John put the gazebo cover on and will put out the carpet on the deck for me tomorrow. I like having my feet on something soft, not just the bare deck boards :)

Morning team!

Sunday has arrivedeth and ye knoweth what? I care not that we go to no meeting!

Its actually been close to two months since I last went to a meeting, and frankly I don't miss it at all! Mrs Smith hasn't been since the Memorial, and she has never felt better. So nice to have the weekends to yourself, and do what 'normal' people do.

We head back to our home city this afternoon, it'll be nice to sleep in our own bed.

Zoe, what's the latest on the flooding from your area? We had some nasty flooding down the east coast of Australia last year and it was awful. Hope you, hubby, the family, and your community are safe and dry. Great to hear you made it onto the deck!

We have no flooding at my house but a lot of the towns around me are flooded.

Have a great weekend evening everyone. I am all sleepy and relaxed right now, we spent 5 hours outside, just came in now. First time this year to enjoy some fresh air without freezing. The dog is even all tuckered out lol

Sunday evening here, just getting a chance to chill after a weekend of work at home. Envying Winston's travels and Zoe's bask in the sun...

Seminar paper ready to present tomorrow, and Teaching File No 1 ready to hand in. Phew! Managed to fit in cooking a roast lamb dinner and administered TLC to hubby. He's suffering from an indefinable pain in hip, together with some numbness in leg and a slightly grumpy attitude! Before anyone suggests, he won't seek medical advice, prefers to be a martyr to it lol. Aren't our men wonderful lol?

Just snuggling down to watch a film before retiring....here's to another busy week. Take care everyone!

Loz x

Morning from Australia!

Do we have any other people in 'Straya on the board?

Loz that lamb roast sounds good. Being a Kiwi, a lamb roast is something dear to my heart :D

MORNING EVERYONE - Happy Monday.

Its a rainy day here, don't know the temperature, I am on my new computer, just set it up yesterday and don't have the weather program on it yet. Yesterday I sat outside all day on the deck, it was lovely and warm and we even had a BBQ.

Tea anyone?
