Welcome Judge and what English delicacy can I tempt you with? I have a pot of tea, cake, crumpets, scones with cream and jam, cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off and a wide selection of biscuits.

If your HDD is NOT damaged then you can swap it to another PC and get your 'tapes'. Nothing is lost! Even if your HDD IS damaged a lot or even everything can be salvaged depending on the damage. I have provided info how to on earlier posts on these forums (actually I sumarized the info that is available in details on the internet and youtube). Please explain what is the problem so we can assist you. Such material is valuable to all of us. Don't junk it.

Thanks, but no free time for this. Besides with the program I pay to the phone company (no abroad calls) I cannot afford it. :-(

anomos ; i'm greatfull for your advice, ta pc in question was junked years ago. now i own a 12 year old junk pc. but it works a bit. I could call jw's on meeting nites and record again. it no big deal , and I let jw's know i'm recording I used to say i'm from ta "c_ristian researc_ center" and we are doing follow up on some questions we get about jw's.

i'm empressed Watersprout i enjoy ta warm Englis+ welcome. i never tried a cucumber sandwic+ so Ill need to take youj up on ta offer. :D
