To say that only Christ gives the HS is to belittle God, just as to say that only God gives the HS is to belittle Christ.
We receive the HS from the perfect oneness that is Father and Son and HS, so that Our lord may be in Us, as we are in Him, so that we may be One with Christ as Christ is with Our Father.

The seven spirits of God have had different interpretation.
In the Jewish numerological sense ( which Revelation is filled with) the number 7 means completeness and perfect, hence the 7 spirits of God means God perfect spirit.
Others have understood this to mean the 7 archangels.

Hi Paul, I had made the point you referenced here earlier in the thread, then in the post of mine you quoted, I was just clarifying that it is Christ who has been given 'all authority' regarding the baptising with Spirit. I am in no confusion, sorry if it wasn't clear.

Ive been out all day. There was a post earlier in regards to the seven spirits not really meaning what it say's. Rev ch 5 v 6 seven spirits sent fourth into all the earth. There is no way to turn this into some convauluted meaning other than what is written. Which is seven spirits sent into the world daily. This is the Kingdom of God. because they are spirits they can be sanctified IN a man. This is how the kingdom of God is in us. Christ gives the spirit to however he wants. Him and I are good friends and brothers that is why he gave me the Holy Spirit Jesus. So I could teach about the kingdom he has. David

Greetings, dear SOM, and again peace to you!

Please forgive our... mmmmmm... limited understanding. Perhaps you could take a minute and explain to us your understanding of the 7 spirits... rather than assume we know or should just "get" it? That might help us "see" what you do. You must know, of course, that not all are in the same "place" in the Body... or have been "running" as long/far as others.

Rather than talk down to us, perhaps you can endeavor to bring us all "up" to where you "are"? Please keep in mind, though, that if any of us hear/believe/understand differently, we might dissect your position, if not challenge and contradict it entirely... based on what WE receive from the Spirit? But... iron sharpens iron... does it not?

So, please... help us "see" what you mean... and don't just "chatise" us for not quite getting it?

The Lord God creator of all Flesh, The Lord of Host's God of Israel and Judge of all flesh, The Lord Jehovah the word of God in the world and God of the Jews, The Holy Spirit of the Father the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit of the Mother the Spirit of Wisdom. The eighth Spirit of the Kingdom is Jesus the Christ saviour of all flesh. God of the seventh Day of the Father.

He will answer you because you are seeking the knowledge of the Kingdom. I know her Name. She told me. Ill give you a clue it is written in the scriptures. It sounded as though you believed that one needs to come to you in order to receive the spirit; rather than to Christ or God. I think that statement is receiving the most objection that you are hearing.

I asked about the seven spirits (or sevenfold spirit), and was reminded of the seven churches.

Then I looked up the verses as well. I think the seven spirits (or sevenfold spirit - different translations) of God = the holy spirit of God, also in Christ (who is THE Holy Spirit) - and through Christ, also in those of the Body of Christ.

Hi you came in at the Middle of a very deep subject. I am trying to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the testimony of the Holy Spirit Jesus. Called the teaching of the Kingdom of God. Thats a mouth full or what? This understanding is not written because it is the Testimony of the Holy Spirit Jesus, which comes from his mouth. He teaches it when you Have the eyes to see and the ears to hear. You can pray for this gift. The reason for the teaching is to help people have their prayers heard and answered. Because it is written we must pray in spirit and truth. Just as we worship.Truth motivates the kingdom of God. Knowing who to ask is understanding of the knowledge of the Wisdom of God. Proverbs ch 4, 5, 6, Who is telling you what to do? Answer The Father of Jesus Christ. He says get Wisdom SHE is the principle thing and with all thy getting get understanding. Why? Understanding is a gift of the Mother. The spirit of Wisdom teaches knowledge.


I have come to love the Spirit of Wisdom with all of my heart and Soul. SHE is Great, She has power in the world that is huge. The things she can get and do are beyond the understanding of men.
