May I suggest, that if you want to always have access to the 'active topics' icon, that you switch to the "pro-silver" or "sub-silver" board style. I may set one of those as the default style for users anyway. But looking through them, these ones (and also that red-silver one) give you constant access to 'active topics'; whereas this style (my favorite) makes you go back to the board index before you can find the 'active topics' icon.

If you want to pick your style, just go to the user control panel, and I believe it is under board preference, then you can get your choice from board style.

You changed the logo lol. What does the sheep mean.
I am liking the new board now, I don't mind the lack of backgrounds. JWN gives you no options at all so this place is heaven compared to that antiquity lol.

I am using the background with blue and white, it shows up the active topics. The black background I couldn't find anything, it's really weird.

Okay, so I switched the default board setting to sub-silver, which is what we were all using before at the old forum. It is more user friendly.

BUT...

If you want to keep the other style, or use one of the four remaining styles, then you just have to switch your personal preference to that as per the above instructions. Then any time you log in, you style will be what you chose.

Any questions? Comments? Preferences? Complaints? I'll take the first three... you can direct all of your complaints to YPPUPLLEH

Yes I just noticed it was sub silver not the one I chose lol. It is the best for this forum I guess, just kind of blah but I am a very bling dramatic sort so that's just me.

Yeah, that black background is SO hard to navigate.

The sheep are the only logo I had on file to replace the phpbb logo. I tried putting wheat in instead, and it was HUGE! I tried putting a blue square in, but it looked weird. I am also waiting for my sister (a bigger procrastinator than me) to make us a custom logo. So I will get on her about that

So.. sheep... for "my sheep will hear my voice"

(though we do have some odd little sheep up there, )

We are supposedly the most advanced version of phpbb at the moment. So more styles and the smilie options for this board are on their way, but just not here yet. That is what i read on the forumatic support forum today.

So we're going to get lots more options when that happens!

Ahh, dear tec (peace!)... looks "just like home," 'cept with the "family portrait" put up (I'm the small brown-eyed sheep second from the left - LOLOLOLOL!). Really, I feel right at home, not like we moved at all but maybe just moved the furniture around in the living room (which always makes it look "new" to me)!

You might be able to bring it here if you can save it to your computer then upload it to, say, Photobucket, dear Loz (peace to you, luv!). If I recall, it's one of the ones provided by madmoose, so maybe not. Give it a try. I wonder if this site provides avatars...
