Peace to you all.

Game of thrones reference in my title, yes... but also true ; )

We have had some snow for the past week. Not much. Just a little. Tomorrow we are set to get 5-10 cm. I will admit to always being excited at the snow; it also makes me feel all cozy inside the house when we have a storm going on outside. Also, it is just so pretty. I have no pictures, but if I can figure out how to take a pic with my phone tomorrow and post it, I will do that.

Hope everyone is well.

Love to you all, and peace as my Lord gives peace,
your servant, sister, and a fellow slave of Christ,
tammy

Haven't seen snow in quite some time here in the Pacific Northwest. Must be pretty. We're gearing up for a triple whammy... three storms in a row. Tail end of a typhoon is what they're saying. Heavy rain and wind gusts. Next couple of days should be interesting. :/

Be safe during the storm, Leaving!

Do you not get snow where you are? Or it just hasn't snowed in a while?

Peace to you both Tammy and Leaving,

Wow! Snow already? Seems like a early season. I don't miss living in it all those 32 years ughh lol... but I would like to visit and walk in it and remember how weirdly quiet it felt in the middle of the night when it began snowing.
Be safe in it guys. I always remembered every first snow of the year, you forgot how to drive in it and there are always that "one crazy driver."

Love and peace to you and your families, your sister and fellow servant of Christ, Kim

It's rare around here. I'm in Washington State, Puget Sound area. We get at least a dusting every year. Last year we had one such event and it lasted all of about two hours. But, every now and then we'll get a few inches once or twice during the winter season. Mostly it's gray and rainy.

You know, I never really thought about the quiet in the middle of the night (or even in the day, to some extant) when it is snowing. Good description! I never considered it weird, but I must admit now that you mention it, that I do like that quiet calm that comes with the snow in the night. Sometimes it is nice to have that kind of quiet to mull things over and talk with my Lord. Not that I cannot do that in the crazy busy as well - sometimes even easier than in the quiet because I have no time to be distracted by my own thoughts, lol.

Peace and thanks for making me think about that Justmom!

Sounds like Vancouver. Or at least what I have heard of Vancouver. I have never been there. Raining and overcast 80% of the time, some sun the rest of the time.

Hope things are okay today with your storm!

This is just to show the amount of snow that has fallen, and is piling up on the back end of the truck in our driveway.

Loz (or anyone else), if you are reading... I can probably walk you through an easy way of getting pics to post here, with that site imgur that I used above. My son showed me.

Bringing back way too many memories. In Mount Shasta, there were winters that it was so deep we had to shovel off the roof for weight control. And there were several winters the boys in growing up used to jump and sled off the roof it was so deep. And our house sat fairly high on its raised foundation. It was especially beautiful when it was fresh, quiet and no trails or sounds to look out at. I enjoyed the baking and cooking during those years. The shoveling got brutal the older I got. Hubby invested in a snow blower but there was still a lot of shoveling involved.

Well, the Bay Area is pretty "perfect lol" weather and it doesn't take a long time to reach snow when and if I need to get it out of my system lol.

Love the pics Tammy, enjoy the snow.
Peace, Kim
