A man is shipwrecked and swims to a deserted Island..
He lives on the island for 5 years and makes a home for himself..
Finally he spots a ship and signals it..
His rescuers come to the island..

He asks if they would like to see what hes built on the island..
They say "Yes!"
He takes them to 3 buildings..
He says "That one is my Home and that One is my Church."
The rescuers ask "What is the 3rd building?"
He says "Thats the Church I used to Go To."

Well, he's on an island made of sand...so the church's / buildings won't withstand...

ok ok I got one:

A physics professor and his assistant are working on liberating negatively charged hydroxyl ions, when all of a sudden, the assistant says, "Wait, Professor! What if the salicylic acids do not accept the hydroxyl ions?" And the professor responds, "That's no hydroxyl ion! That's my wife!"

Yeah...apparently the salicylic acid is Aspirin, and the physics professor was trying to get freaky with his wife, and she said 'I have a headache' but wont take the aspirin.
