As a JW Kid..
I wasn`t as lucky as most Adult JWs who hid from the Halloweeners..(Weener..Heh-Heh!)..LOL!!..
I was forced to answer the door and tell who ever "We don`t celebrate Halloween..But"..

(Thanks mom and dad that was real considerate of you..Not!..)
"You can come back any other time and Ask for Candy"..
Some actually did come back to Ask for Candy..

This Kid is About to get Screwed Out of Candy for a 2nd Time!..

Aw, you had to explain that, Outlaw?

Did your parents really give out candy for the kids that came back? That's kinda funny too.

Peace,
tammy

Hey Tammy!..

Yes I really had to go to the door every time it got knocked on,by Trick or Treaters..And..
Give the same explanation..
Our house was close to the school I went to..
So I got to see all those kids the next day at school..

No we never gave any candy to the kids that came back..
My parents couldn`t be bothered to buy any..
It was just something I was forced to say..
Which made us look like even bigger JW AssH*les..
Now we were Liars too..
It did`nt do much for my popularity at school..
Halloween Sucked..LOL!!..

We`re lucky this kid didn`t come to the door..

Seems like house-to-house trick or treating is becoming a dying past time in my neck of the woods, dear Sher'f (peace, luv!). These days, parents take their kids to the school/community center, etc., for a party... or to the mall for store-to-store trick or treating. And I'm kinda glad. I mean, you really never know THESE days who's gonna answer a door/give your child a "trick." Better safe than sorry, perhaps?

Of course, JWs will probably say they had something to do with it ("People are LISTENING and not celebrating any more!")... when all they're doing is finding a safer way for their kids to do it. But you know, EVERYTHING is connected to them (JWs) somehow.

Peace!

YSFS of Christ,

Shellamar

Hey Shelby!..

Theres no Halloween here in the forest either..LOL!!..

When I lived in civilization and my kids were small..
I took my kids out trick or treating every year..
I`d bring them home loaded down with candy and exhausted..LOL!..
Then I would go through every piece of candy before they could eat it..

Yes JWs think they change the world..
The only thing they change is what they believe from one day to the next..LOL!!..

I think I gave out $40 worth of candy(chocolate of course, which is why I had so many kids IMO) I have already bought my candy for this year, come one come all, I'll save some for you Shelby!
When my boys were little (JW's) I would bring them out for pizza until I knew it was all clear to go home. How silly it all seems now :)

Ahhhh don't think I can make it, we are combining two families for dinner on Friday after thanksgiving and I am cooking one meal, they are cooking one also, so will start on Thanksgiving day, not a young chickie anymore so I have to start the day before, maybe the hubby can make it, it will keep him occupied while I cook all day ::)) I will be sure to tell him! Waving at JM
