Good Morning EVERYONE!

ZOE, so glad you have a family BBQ with family and your 4 grandsons, right? What to do with boys?... LOL! keep em running outside.
Enjoy your weekend! 8)

LOZ, I too am so happy for your opportunity to be able to spiritually share truth with your coworker (principle) I hope she is on the mend and back soon. I realize the commute is a lot, but when when we have been given an assignment, our Lord makes it all fall into place and he energizes us to accomplish his will ( I know you know this already) but wanted to encourage you my sister. Enjoy your weekend with your hubby. /:)

TAMMY, First week okay with the boyz??? Hope the oldest is settling in.

SHELBY, I am so so so sorry for this crazy menopause. I realize some women just breeze through it and I have not been one of them. It has been one of the hardest thing for me to deal with as I have always been able to control my situations for the most part (as a control freak) and this... WELL....Took the control right outta me! It controlled ME and there was NOTHING I was able to do about it!
Rest is good! Keeping track of a pattern in the month. Certain times I'm tired for no apparant reason. And FOGGY, forgetful and cannot multi-task. Accepting this has been hard. Have to be content with what I CAN do and not what I USED to do!
It really is a blessing that we have wonderful husbands that understand and stay on their side of the bed. LOL! That body contact in the middle of the night/ instant sweating! g:)

Well, our Lord is so patient. He understands us girls. And loves each and every one of us!

Love you ALL today
Justmom

Good morning... boys first week went great, JM.

I am sick today. (vertigo) I should stay away from the computer, so I will get off soon. I already called into work sick, my first time doing it, and I think I'm just gonna watch movies, sleep, and eat. The three staples ; )

Peace,
tammy

Morning everyone, I hope everyone is feeling good today, Tammy how is your vertigo?

It is a gorgeous day here today, sunny and bright. WHY WHY wasn't it like this yesterday when I had my kids and grandkids here all day. The only weekend in months that it rained and it had to pick yesterday. It was the first time I saw my grandkids and kids in 9 months and we had planned a BBQ. Oh well we did inside stuff and my son BBQ'd despite the rain and we ate inside.

We had to dig out the video games (still packed from the move) for my grandsons which kept them happy but the little grandson who is 4 was a very noisy happy handful and ran all over the place and used the couch as a trampoline. I was exhausted after 8 hours of that and cringing when he started throwing pillows, hoped some vases and lamps were going to survive and wondering what he was up too when he ran down into the bedrooms and office. My daughter just assumed his cousins would take care of him as she never supervised him at all. He was in the closets and in the bathtub and had a fascination with the water cooler and was pouring glasses of water to the brim every 10 minutes and then spilling it. I can't run after him anymore but anyway everything survived other than the window blinds got a bit twisted and bent lol. He also had a fascination with my electric lift chair and was making it go up and down for hours, I didn't realize he was doing it but John did. If I had known I would have pulled the plug lol.
I forgot to take pictures but I had a great visit with my daughter and son and caught up on all the other family drama from my 2 other kids and ex husband. My dog was even exhausted after they left, young children are definitely meant for younger parents. I had 4 kids in 6 years and I dealt well with it, I have no idea how I did it.

Today I am on my own and having a peaceful quiet day, John is gone to visit his family (I have never met them and am not invited) so its going to be a GREAT day because when he is here he complains all day long and curses so its not very relaxing.

I am feeling much better today, thanks everyone!

Zoe, your little grandson sounds full of life and joy and well, all the things little boys are full of ; )

I'm glad you had a good day despite the rain, and your house is still standing, lol.

Enjoy your day of peace and quiet!

I am watching football today with the hubby, then going to work.

Peace,
tammy

What the heck, Zoe? Who didn't invite you - them or John? Sounds kinda like my last marriage.

@Atoloa - I also have wondered why I am not allowed to meet his family, we have been together for 8 years?? It is all a big secret but its his fault I think because he is still married to his wife and his kids probably think I am a home wrecker. He told me they don't want anything to do with me (his kids). The fact is that I was told he was divorced and only found out 2 years ago he is still married. It really hurts my feelings but it is what it is and we are not a family.

I agree Zoe, I don't know how I did it either, lol. It isn't ok to be kept hidden away as a secret. Not at all.

Me, I'm back in Yorkshire at my job for the week, and feeling a little homesick this evening, I won't lie. Still, onwards and upwards. Hubby has an interview for a temp post in this area this week. That would solve all the logistics.

Loz x

I don't know ALL the details of your situation Zoe, but I am sorry that it is hurting you.

But sometimes and it may be in this situation, that you might be " being spared" something that down the line becomes worse than what you see it to be as of right now.

Just something you might think about if you have not already.

Hope you have a great day and week,
Love Justmom

Good Morning everyone! I hope you all are having a great day.

Loz I hope you are feeling a bit better right now, I guess its suppertime there so you are probably alone again. Unless you are really busy busy I can see that this job being away from home is going to take some getting used too. I hope your hubby can find some work nearby.

Just Mom, not sure what you meant by this:

trying to figure it out but thinking it means that if I was included with John's family get together's that it might be worse because of gossip and hurtful words said.
I could use all the positive criticism or suggestions you can throw my way.

On a lighter note, I saw this on another forum today and thought it was so funny, too bad it wasn't on camera and only voice.
