My advice (although you certainly don't need to take it)? Throw the whole thing on Christ, tell HIM what you're going through, ask HIM to tell you what to do, how, and when... and then let go. Then trust... have FAITH... in him... that HE will tell you what is best and where it's best for you to be.

I'm doing this yes, of course, because its always the best thing to do. At the moment I'm not hearing anything, but maybe that is cos I am not quiet within myself right now, and so am struggling to 'listen'. I will persevere though. He is the best to turn to.

Thank you too JM. I hear you, and your love is much appreciated.

Love and peace to you all.

Loz x

Yeah, same thing happens with me.

You know when that happens, when I finally DO hear... it happens when I just let go of all the things that i think I should be doing, or feeling something... and just completely turn it over to him; WHATEVER He wills. I have to completely let go of my own desires, reasons, etc... though, and THEN I can hear Him.

Not that you don't know this already. But sometimes it helps to hear (read) someone else put it into words. Does for me, anyway.

Peace to you,

tammy

I hope things are OK with you Loz, you seemed so excited about your new car and job.

Me, not so great here but I am trying to keep my chin up.

Thanks Zoe, sorry to hear you're not so good, I hope things improve for you soon.

Here's the UPDATE:

Ok, we've made a decision that for now I will stay over near my job from Mon to Thurs, and come home Fri Sat Sun. It's come to light that I have to be at school for 7.45 am anyway, and will not often get away before 5, so its possibly the most practical. Hubby and I can chat via Skype, and on days when he's free he will drive up for the evening.

I am feeling better, and greatly relieved. Thank you all for your support here.

Much love

Loz x

Been there, done that, dear Loz (mornin' and peace to you, luv!)... and survived it. You will, too!

That's when faith kicks IN, dear tec (mornin and peace to you, too!). When it says, "I don't even have to THINK about this [thing], let alone worry about it... because HE will take care of it and I WILL hear him when the time for it comes!"

You'll get there on this matter, dear Loz. Absolutely NO doubt in MY mind.

Peace... and ya'll have a LOVELY day!

Shellamar

Happy September 1st everyone!!!

September 1st seems far more like the start of the year than January 1st, and then the rest of the year follows, with July and August as the weekend ; )

I guess it feels that way when you have kids, because everything gets marked by the school year. The year begins in September, and ends in June. So maybe July and August aren't the weekend; maybe they're a break from time altogether ; )

Peace,

tammy

I'm glad!

And it gives you time to work on another solution, if you want one, without having to make that stressful drive.

Peace and love to you!

Hello everyone....

Summer is considered officially over!

LOZ, I'm glad you made a decision you think is good for your family situation and safety.
Hopefully the stress level will be lower so that you can finally enjoy what you truly want to do.

Tammy, hope your oldest is settling in with his new school.

I want to wish everyone a wonderful, positive day today!!!

Love y'all
Justmom.

Good morning! The kids are all dropped off at school, and the house is empty (traffic for first day of school was crazy, and I should be happy that I never got into an accident, lol).

It is a bit exciting having the house to myself for the day again ; )

Though summer may be officially over, JM, we're going to have a mini-heat wave here this week. Hopefully the schools have some air conditioning, but I don't really think that is true.

Peace and love to you all,
tammy

Mornin' and peace to you all! Gonna spend day with dear hubby so will be offboard until later but wanted to say "hola!"

Summer is officially over

I thought that summer is officially over on Sept. 21st this year, dear 'Mom (mornin' and peace, luv!)... when fall starts. I could be wrong, though. I mean, in these days of modern technology lots of things change virtually over night. Heck, it no longer takes much to evoke a change these days: one day something is one thing and then, due to things like Facebook, in less than 24 hours it's something else. Summer used to be over (officially) somewhere between September 20-23 (with the change of the solstice)... but now it's at the very beginning of September? Or am I missing something?

Ennywho, off to hang out with dear Hubs! Ya'll have a good one and peace to you all!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shellamar

Lol... you're right, Sept 21 is the first day of Autumn. So that IS the technical end of summer. School, however, mentally ends the summer for people who are affected by that.

Winter doesn't officially start until Dec. 21st either, but we tend to mark winter by the snow, and that comes LONG before the official start of winter ; ) And it lasts well past the official end of winter.

You know what actually works for us? Summer's start. That is the only one we get on schedule here.

Peace to you!

tammy

Hi everyone, it is like autumn happened overnight. It is cool windy and cloudy and I can feel autumn. The weather suddenly changed last evening from hot and humid to cool.

I had my hair done for the first time in 3 months today, just got home. I had to get a new hairdresser and this one is really nice too so I lucked out. My hair was just making me feel old and ugly with gray roots. Now its dark mahogany brown and I got a layered cut.

Tomorrow I have to trek to the doctors which is a 4 hour ordeal with travel and waiting.

Have a great day eveyone

Ahhhh... so summer is TECHNICALLY over cause kids went back to school (those on the semester program vs. quarter or year round)! I get it. I was thrown by the "officially" over part - LOLOL! I was like, "WHAT?!! Now they've changed SUMMER??! Well, doodah!" LOLOLOL.

So many changes in the last 10-20 years; I can't keep up so i thought heck maybe summer changed, too!

Peace!

Shellamar
