Well, the drive to my job offer was easy (still might not be enthused during the winter, but for the summer and fall, its just fine); and I find that I am quite excited to be getting out and interacting again, just a couple nights a week. It was fun. My friend/boss sent me home with dinner for the hubbie too, since I wasn't home to cook : )

Tammy, glad the transition back into the work force was smooth. I always appreciated the restaurant business if for nothing else when I didn't have money, I always had FOOD!

Congrats Tec on your new job

Whoo-hoo and congrats, dear tec (peace!) on getting back out there, girl! And glad to know your "commute" is do-able for you. AND... that your new boss is generous, at least with food! LOLOL! Part of me wants to get back out there... but a bigger part doesn't want to in the same industry I've been in for the past 24 years or so. I'm tired of it, now, really. And I am truly enjoying my time with you dear ones here. The kind of work I have historically done requires long hours and long commutes... and sometimes involves horrid human interaction (management folks - on my NERVES!). So, I'm thinking maybe self-employment. Consulting. Training. Marketing. Gotta a couple/few ideas brewin'. We'll see.

But I am GLAD for you, girl, truly, and for you dear family!

Wanted to briefly share something good without making a big deal thread about it.

The doors of communication are now open a chink with 3 of my children. Nothing too exciting but definitely progress. Brief contact with my youngest this week! Baby steps. Slowly.

All praise and my thanks go to my Heavenly Father Jah and His son Jaheshua for these blessings. I've had so much support though from some here, I just had to share it with you all.
