Ooh my ZOE,

Glad your okay. Here in California, we have small ones all the time. Nothing to worry about. But I know we are due for a biggie.
Take care today. Hopefully there was no damage anywhere or at least minimal.

Love Justmom :? ;)

Good morning!

Glad everything was okay during your earthquake Zoe. I have been in a couple when I was little. They were nothing big. Just trembling in the house. I thought they were cool, lol. I was 6.

ZZ is doing great, Justmom. No problems at all : )

Peace,
tammy

The Earthquake was minor, just a bit unsettling as you are made aware then of how vulnerable we are to what nature deals out to us. I experienced 2 worse ones before this but no harm was done.

The scariest thing was 2 years ago we had a microburst(like a tornado) happen at our town, it tore almost all the trees in town up by the roots or snapped them like a match. It lasted less than 5 minutes but shut down my town and area for up to 2 weeks. We had no power for a week ourselves as 100's of powerlines snapped. Garages and Anything not solidly built collapsed, a lot of houses were damaged with trees falling on them, mine included. I had just sold my house and the closing was going to be in a month and we had 6 huge trees felled onto our lawn and one through our roof. It cost us $1000's to fix it up though the insurance paid for the house damage, ever try and cut up and dispose of huge trees. My beautiful treed yard looked so bare and exposed after that. Previously we had 3 tornados rip through our town in a 5 year period, 2 of them ripped out trees from my yard and once it literally picked up my lawn furniture and dumped it out into the middle of the lake. Very very stressful and scary.

Here in Europe we can't imagine the devastation of these natural disasters Zoe, except for our experiences maybe of flooding, and that brings its own traumas. I think that the courage you all show in the face of these devastations is a reminder to us all to be grateful that we only have the minimal to deal with.

Well, my little one currently wants to be a storm chaser ; )

I should find that movie with Bill Paxton for him, about the tornados... he'll love that.

Peace,

Happy Nurses Day, Happy Tuesday, Happy Butter "Something" (I forget; last page, so I can't see it, now)... and Happy Sunday... Happy Sun Day... and Happy every other day I've missed lately... and peace to you, all!

Truly sorry about the allergies, earthquakes, and whatever else has 'happened' that is concerning in the lives of your dear ones... and glad to hear all are doing WELL (relatively speaking), for now!

Peace and hope your weekend has gone well and may your week go spectacularly!

Your servant and a slave of Christ,

Shellama

Hello everyone! Been busy all day preparing for job interview tomorrow morning :? Nervous isn't the word. It's for a teaching post at a 6th form college teaching A level Drama & Theatre Studies. Early night methinks.

Morning everyone, Happy Monday. Its a holiday here today.

We had company all day yesterday, lots of dishes to clean up today. They brought 2 bottles of the most scrumptous wine I have ever had. Feeling a bit fuzzy today.

My Aunt from British Columbia called me just as the company arrived, dropped the bomb that her daughter, my cousin Marie died on May 7th from complications of MS. I was shocked as I have been talking to her every 2 weeks for awhile now. She had MS bad but I didn't think she was dying, kind of scares me as I have MS bad too. So sad for my Aunt and the close family to her.

On a lighter note, its a gorgeous day so I am going to sit outside one the deck. Enjoy the day everyone.
