I think this is the phenomenon I was referring to, dear tams (peace, chile'!).

Dear Zoe (peace, luv!), I am finding that sometimes when I "submit" a post at perhaps the same time as someone else, my post is lost. Has been driving me CRAZY, that... as I sometimes have to redo the entire post. And given the length of some of my posts, you can imagine that that is frustrating - LOLOL!

I LOVE this site and we seem to have minimal glitches... but having your post disappear... or be lost when you post simultaneous with someone else... are pretty substantial glitches, IMHO.

No worries, though: Admin is ON it!

It appears to be happening to a couple posters on one other forum. So ours would make two forums having this similar glitch. I'll let you all know what I find out, when they tell me what it is.

Might be something to do with the flood interval between posts. Still should not happen though.

Hello everyone! I posted yesterday here too and it has disappeared?

So glad your dog is ok Tammy. My girl is on holiday currently, for the purpose of cheering up a friend who struggles with depression....it's working and helping and Daisy's getting very spoiled....but I miss her a great deal, so will have to go and bring her home soon.

It's a celebratory day in our house! Hubby is just back from an interview and he got the job! An excellent teaching job, and where he's been working in placement. I am so proud of him.

Morning everyone

It is a gorgeous day again, thats 7 in a row, but now we need some rain and I think we are getting it tonight.

YES there is this thing with the new BB3 forums, its happening at the Werewolf forum too and my little forum too. I don't think there is anything that can be done to prevent it or to disingage the function. What happens is if someone else posts while you are posting or writing yours it will say that and not allow your post to submit until you say ok that you saw the other post. We just have to remember to look for that and make sure when we hit submit for our post that the little box comes up saying our post was posted.

I guess there is still no word on the smilies lol

@Loz, congratulations to your husband, that is fantastic news for you both.

Congrats to dear hubby, dear Loz (peace to you, both!)... and give Daisy a hug from us when she gets home. Pets can be a "god-send" for some folks. I LOVE the little "paw" bumper sticker that says "Who rescued who?" LOLOLOL!

Now, I've seen that, dear Zoe (good morning, peace, and GREAT looking melon smoothies!), but that's not what's happening for me. When I go to post, if someone has JUST posted before me, or a new post has been added, I get the message you're referring to. BUT... often, I hit submit, my little computer "man" runs around inside doing his "thing," and then the thread pops up... with the "latest" post, which is NOT mine... and mine is nowhere to be found! No new page, not located "above" the last post... nuthin'. So, I am TRYING to remember to save a "draft", just in case. But it is frustrating when I forget and "lose" a post.

Althouuuuuugh... I am SURE some folks are shouting "HalleluJAH! We've been SAVED... from another long-butt post from her!" LOLOLOLOL!

Ah, well, it IS a machine, after all...

Hope our dear Adminstratrix can get to the bottom of it, though. Either get it to cut it the heck out... or at least explain what we might do to avoid it.

Zoe, those look so awesome, and no... no word on smilies or anything yet. I think they are working on this posting issue, but there have been no responses since the 5th, on the support board, to anyone.


ZZ is doing good. He slept good. He did 'his business' good. He is eating good. ( I am not talking 'good' grammar, mind you ) He does not like his medicine. And seriously, what is up with that? He can eat everything... to the point of poisoning himself. But this medicine? He IS like a two year old. Turned his head away, back and forth, back and forth, refused to look at me. Kept his mouth clamped shut. I did finally trick him in putting the medicine in a bowl that I had used for sloppy joes. His clever tongue tried to lick around the medicine, but I managed to get it in him. Did the same today. Rascal.

Morning everyone, it is a rainy dull day today but after 7 days of gorgeous weather the rain is welcome. I didn't sleep so well last night, too much pain, sucks having so much wrong with me. I have a physiotherapy appt this aft, don't feel like going grrrr.
