Just wanted to send my greetings of peace to you all and your households and to say I love you all.

Interesting day yesterday. Well, Saturday hubby and I spent a lovely day with Shelby and her hubby. Just a relaxing visit. Light conversation and one of the discussions were again as always around to talking about our fur babies. We obviously love our pups and we had discussed how me growing up in the WTBS, my sphere of influence was not very positive when it came to animals as pets. No one had much time for them ( understandably) and they were " just animals".
My parents did have a dog and a cat and I just never was very fond of cats, I think because as I mentioned, the hair all over drove us all nuts lol.

Well, yesterday I took my pups to the park for a run. Not sure why I gravitated to the one I did ( well I do now)...
And while they were playing I heard this cry for help. A very loud meow. I ran over to the edge of the park, behind it is a construction site all blocked off on a Sunday of course with apt construction going on. I thought OMG there is a cat stuck in the drain or on the scaffolding.

As I got closer this tiny kitten was behind the locked gates in a box left there to die in the sun.
Oh my...my dogs were going crazy, I couldn't figure out how to get in. I was able to drag the box until I could get my hand through and bring the baby through. I can't believe a wild animal or a big bird didn't get her.

She was starving and dehydrated. I immediately went to Petco and got some goats milk powder and a bottle. This little baby is not even weaned. She does not know how to eat solid food or drink except with a dropper. They assessed her at maybe 4 weeks.

But as of today, she is doing remarkable. Am so thankful I was there when I was. I know this was no coincidence. I believe it was an opportunity for me to come to appreciate the kitty kingdom lol.
She's already growing on all of us. My newest puppy addition " Nahla" is obsessed with her already.

So, we will see what the future will bring.

Enjoy your evening everyone, just wanted to share my last 24 hrs LOL!
Love, your sister and fellow servant of Christ, Kim

That is awesome, Justmom! Poor little baby. You should post us some pics when you get a chance.

I like both cats and dogs, but we only have a dog because my boys are allergic to cats. (dogs too, but some dogs are better than others for allergies, so ours is okay)

Hope everyone is well. I am finally feeling better. Got pretty sick from all the medication. Right after that whole 'euphoria' thing, lol, I jumped right into depression and anger, nausea, dizziness, even some blurred vision. Too much medication at one time for this body! I had to stop taking everything except the antibiotics (I didn't want to mess around with getting an infection). But even though it was a yucky week, it is all over and done with; no lasting problems at all. Small stuff ; )

Peace and love to you and your loved ones,
your sister and servant, and fellow slave of Christ,
tammy

What a wonderful thing happened with you JustMOM!! What a lovely thing you did for that kitty and I know she will reward you for rescuing her by giving your family (pets included) unconditional love. Such a Heartwarming story. Was it luck or something else that drew you there, whatever it was she is one lucky kitten. People who care and love animals are almost always good people.

Tec so glad you are feeling better after your teeth extractions, that is an awful thing to go through. I went through it myself about 7 years ago, what an ordeal.

My doggy Taz (a Yellow Labrador Retriever, almost 10 years old) had dental surgery on Friday plus 2 growths removed so he is still in recovery and on painkillers and antibiotics. Poor guy was really suffering when he came home from the Vet on Friday but is starting to feel better now.
We sent him in too get his teeth cleaned and fluorided, we didn't know he had any teeth that were damaged. The Vet found one cracked molar that needed to be pulled out and 2 others damaged which she bonded so he is good for life now. Since he was going to be under anesthetic for the teeth we figured we would have 2 benign growths removed at the same time. Everything will be fine in a week but right now its not fun as he can't eat hard food so we have to soften his kibble and I am roasting carrots (He loves them) for him for his treats. He keeps wanting to scratch his incisions so we have to put one of my socks on his back foot (we use duck tape to keep it on) to prevent that but he pees and gets it wet with pee so I have to keep changing his sock LOL. We love our Doggy, he is family.

Oh, poor puppy, Zoe. Hope he is better soon. Much sympathy since I just dealt with teeth extractions too. You're a good mom to him, keeping his socks clean, lol... and feeding him his favorite treats of soft carrots.

Carrots are one of the very few things my dog does not like to eat.

Peace to you and good to hear from you!

Morning and peace to you ALL this beautiful day!

Thank you sis for sharing these, and peace to you.

Well, this has been a little bit of my last two weeks. It has been exhausting yet sooooo rewarding and such a learning and humbling experience. Thank you to hubby and son for the support and lots of help.

Bottle feeding, peeing, pooping, burping and rocking to sleep a premature kitty has been very enlightening. Thank you YouTube LOL!

Jah is wonderful in continuing to help me understand these little ones and it is truly amazing to watch them. I am grateful that I was able to do this.

The beauty of this is Nahla has grown so attached I was worried for a minute UNTIL my oldest son said he'd love to have her. So he is going to take her next weekend and then Nahla can visit and she can come over and have a sleep over LOL!

So.....all good! Jah is good!
Enjoy your day everyone, love your sister and fellow servant of Christ, Kim

Greetings everybody, Peace to you all today!

It's been a long time since I've said hello. Hope this new 2017 finds everyone doing well.
We here in California are getting a tremendous amount of rain. After this passes, we might not be or at least feels like we won't be in a drought any longer lol.
But it's water and water washes away. No shoveling needed yay. I hear up in Northern Cali, Oregon and parts of Washington they are getting a ton of snow. Tons!

All is good here and wanted to say I love you all and hope you are hanging in there.

May JAH and His son our Lord Jaheshua MischaJahs spirit and peace be upon you all,
Your sister and fellow servant of theirs, Kim

Loving the rain, dear 'Mom (peace, luv!). I know some are tired of it (puppies are absolutely sick of it - went out for a walk at the Marina while we a couple days reprieve - everyone got mucked up - thankfully, they're all small puppies - LOLOL! )... but my trees are finally getting a real good drink!

Anyway, hope 2017 is starting off well for everyone, too, and especially hope those we haven’t heard from recently/in a bit are well and hanging in there.

Peace to you all and to your dear households!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shel

Hi Kim, and everyone on here... Just saying a hello...staying in touch...

It's disturbing to have unwelcome visitors and I'm glad they're gone...I suppose we've been lucky to avoid them so far...

Life...erm... It's winter here and I don't like that. Mostly because of the effect of the damp and cold on my health. Things are better when the sun shines and there is more/better light.

Spiritually, I try to stay close to Jaheshua, I don't always succeed, but I keep trying...I feel blessed anyway.

Love and peace to all here

Loz x

Love to all of you as well, and peace as Christ gives peace.

Working more than normal here, but sometimes that just has to happen. I've given up on housework for the most part. (okay, to be honest, I gave up on housework except for the essentials a long time ago. Lately I have given up the little 'give' I had left for it, lol. I can think of so many other things to do with my time. In fact, anything else... at all... I consider worthier of my time.)

Sorry the cold is so hard on you Loz. My mom feels the same. She has to get cortisone in her shoulders to get through the winter, and she is prone to getting pneumonia. She says this getting older thing sucks, lol... the body starts falling apart!

This has so far been such a mild winter (relatively speaking). We've been going in waves. Negatives for two weeks, then even up in the positives for a week, and then back down and then back up. Its a strange winter to be sure. Not complaining though!

Peace and love to you all,
your sister and servant, and fellow slave of Christ,

Peace to you all today,

Hope everyone is doing well. I must say here in California it's safe to say I think the 5 year drought is over. We have had record amounts of rain and snow and terrible flooding, evacuations, dams overflowing and mud slides.
I am grateful that we have not had anything too crazy in our area but I am sure ready for some sunshine.

Wanted to send a wish for peace, love and our Lords continued strength and blessings upon you all,
Love your sister and fellow servant of Christ, Kim
