There are times when I feel discouraged and powerless, but after a while I recover the strength to continue.
I'm with dear 'Mom, my dear brother Jochy (buenas dias, querido hermano... y paz a su y querida Mama tambien!). I have found I have more peace when I allow myself to accept that I AM powerless; I'm not REALLY in control of anything that TRULY matters (except perhaps my faith in God and Christ)... and just let JAH and Christ "drive." I know where to "go" because I listen to THEM "navigate" my life and its choices. Since I have faith in them, I TRUST them, that they will drive me the final destination... smoothly and safely... but along the best "path" for ME (which may be different from the path of others). My particular "vehicle" may be able to handle "bumpy" roads. I just have to trust THEM to turn on the "all terrain" button... or switch it to the "4-wheel drive" when that becomes necessary (and do so in time, before I break an axle or somethin' - LOLOLOL!).
Others "drive" Cadillacs... or Porsches... or VWs... or Yugos... or Jeeps. So not all can travel the same "road." But I KNOW they would NEVER put ME on a road my "suspension" couldn't handle. So, I let THEM works the "gears" (drive, neutral... park)... and I just get in, sit down, hang on... and go for the ride. Sometimes, the path is a very winding road. Sometimes, through the flatlands. Sometimes, it's a climb into the hills. Sometimes it across the sizzling hot, dry desert. Sometimes it's along a skinny little road on the edge of a very deep precipice. Thing is... although we may stop from time to time, even get out and do some sightseeing... we NEVER BREAK DOWN. Ever. We just get back in... and keep on travelling.
I admit, that because I am bit more adventurous than some folks... and LOVE road trips... that the journey isn't as trying for me as it may be for some. But if one can learn to trust the driver/pilot... and just sit back and relax... even crossing the veldt, Sahara, or salt flats can be a rewarding trek. We just don't always SEE that while we're IN the veldt/Sahara or salt flats. While we're THERE... all we can see is dry grass, sand, salt, heat... no man's lands.
It's not until that part of the journey is OVER... and we've move on to the next part... that we look back on it (and some of the photos we took) and say, "Now THAT was a vacation! Would I do it again? You betcha and in a heartbeat!" Sometimes not, too - LOLOLOL!
But never give up your journey, dear one (and I know you won't). Fascinating things to see... hear... and do... even yet. Just remember to carry plenty of water (holy spirit), a little food/drink (a daily meal of Christ's flesh and blood), and maybe a little extra clothing (love). And never forget that you can "buy" any of those things from the One who "sells" them... the HOLY ONE of Israel and Holy Spirit, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJah), who is the Son of MOST HOLY ONE of Israel, JAH of Armies...
at ANY time... and ANY place... along the Way!
Peace... MUCH strength... and may JAH bless... you and your dear, dear household... to time indefinite, dear brother!
YSSFS of Christ,
Shellama
